‘Twilight in Forks: the Saga of the Real Town’ documentary details released

Summit has just passed along a few details concerning the ‘Twilight in Forks: the Saga of the Real Town’ DVD. The studio originally picked up distribution rights back in September from a small film company.

- Release Date: March 20th (same day as the New Moon DVD)
- Synopsis: The definitive DVD documenting the town of Forks made famous by the Twilight books and movies. This is a fan’s opportunity to see the town that Stephenie Meyer based her epic teen romance books on. Hear from the real people living their lives in the town fans know and love, including the Chief of Police, the Forks Outfitters’ employee who gets mistaken for Bella, and the vampire transplant who plays the real-life role of Alice. Visit Forks High School, hear self-described Jacob’s grandfather tell the legend of how the Quileutes descended from wolves, and see many more of the people and places that make Forks and La Push the perfect setting for The Twilight Saga.

Target reveals New Moon 3-disc Deluxe Edition DVD with exclusive features

Target has posted a new “The Twilight Saga: New Moon 3 Disc Deluxe Edition DVD” that is available for pre-order now. According to their site:
Included in this edition are the 2 Disc Special edition plus a third disc of never before seen content and a bonus collectible film cell

Twilight New Moon DVD and Blu-ray

Amazon finally has the New Moon DVD and Blu-ray available for pre-order (again). The two disk special edition includes audio commentary with Director Chris Weitz and Editor Peter Lamber, a six-part behind the scenes documentary, exclusive band rehearsal footage with Muse, and music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, and Mute Math. A must have for all Twilight fans. Check it out here.

I think Julia is so pretty. I can’t wait to see her play Leah in Eclipse, since she is my favorite character in the entire series, with her brother Seth being a close second!!!!

The work in “Eclipse’’ was far more physical than Jones thought it would be. There were fight scenes – and she was the only woman wolf joining in on the action. She quickly found that she could lean on her wolf friends for support.
“I feel very close to most of them – to the wolf pack, for sure,’’ she says. “They sort of feel like an insta-family. In a way, the whole cast does because it’s such a unique experience.’’
Chaske Spencer, who plays Leah’s ex-love Sam in the films, said the feeling was mutual. He speaks of her lovingly and says it was nice to have a woman on the set with the pack. “She’s my girl,’’ he says, laughing. “She’s a tough chick. She can hang with the boys.’’

Swan Home sign stolen in Forks

The “Home of the Swans” sign at Forks’ Swan House has been stolen!!!
That’s right it was taken, probably by some over obsessed Twihard or Twihater!!!
If anyone knows who has the sign, or has information about what happened to it, please contact the Forks Police Department at 360-374-2223.

Chon initially did not want to even audition for “Twilight” but he changed his mind once he heard that the indie filmmaker Hardwicke was directing and that Kristen Stewart was part of the cast. He had been impressed by the actress in “Into the Wild”; and during his own trip to Alaska, he camped near the film site.
