This is a far cry from Calvin Klein underwear modeling, of course, but it is noble just the same.
In this advertising image, Lutz appears with his shelter dog Kola.
According to People:
Lutz explains that he found Kola in a shelter, curled up and frightened in the back of a cage. "I touched her toe and said, 'Hey, what's your name?' " he recalls. "She spoke to me." Warned that she was a puller, Lutz decided to walk her anyway, and knew then that he'd found the one. "From that day on, I loved her," he says.
Of course, Kola has been no stranger to Twilight fans, as he has never been shy about his pride for the animal, and he even brought her on The Bonnie Hunt Show back in DecemberThis makes for the second Twilight star PETA has recruited for their causes, as Christian Serratos did the "I'd rather go nude than wear fur" campaign last year.
