The Twilight van scene was included in Fandango’s list of the Top 10 Romantic Movie Gestures.
5. Twilight
Ask any girl under the age of 20 (and many older) to name their most romantic movie gesture, and it could very likely be Edward (Robert Pattinson) throwing himself in front of a speeding van to save his one and only Bella (Kristen Stewart). Vampire lore — and box office receipts — would never be the same.

This is just the Valentine’s Day that keeps on giving! More Eclipse stills of Bella and Edward have been released!
There are a few pictures from the hot and heavy bedroom scene with Bella and Edward AND there are 100% never seen before pictures of Bella and Edward in the meadow — which shows them wearing different clothing then we previously seen them wearing in the meadow!! Clearly it’s from a different part of the movie … Squeeeeee!!

Of course, Twilight series Sweethearts, chocolates, and greeting cards are one way to tie-in the occasion . . .
Another way, perhaps, is to imagine what a Valentine's Day greeting from your favorite Eclipse characters might be like.
So, as a bit of fun, here are a few ideas of what some of our favorite Twilight series characters' Valentine's Day greetings might've been if the holiday had become a part of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Real ‘Twilight’ towns enjoying surge of Valentine’s guests thanks to ‘Bella’ and ‘Edward’

Dinner, chocolate, cards, and flowers are among the constants associated with this holiday, and people are apt to oblige to the call for their purchase (lest they invite the wrath - or, less dramatically, disappointment - of their significant others).
In the case of some Twilight fans, it seems, the day has called for celebration just a step above Sweethearts and roses . . . a trip to Washington to see where part of the story of "Bella" and "Edward" began.
According to the Peninsula Daily News, several local hotels have been prepared for that very thing by offering Twilight fans special accommodations. "A sampling: the Resort at Port Ludlow proffered a "Cullen-airy Delight" dinner of vegetarian vampire salad, New Moon pasta and forbidden-fruit sorbet plus blood-orange martinis, all conceived by catering coordinator Lauren Reinertsen; the Kalaloch Lodge tucks a map of Forks plus Twilight trivia, water bottles and dessert in with its cabin keys; at the Tudor Inn of Port Angeles, guests are sent off to dine at Bella Italia, the restaurant where Edward and Bella sighed through their first date," reports PDN.
The source of the guests coming in? All over.
"We have grandmas and granddaughters, aunts and nieces, and husbands bringing wives," said Dew Drop Inn desk clerk Barb Dias.
"We've got people coming from Germany this weekend, and from the Peninsula," added Joan Evans of the Pacific Inn.
"We are all booked up for the Twilight rooms."

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' star Edi Gathegi to perform for Valentine's Day show tonight
Kristen Stewart and Edi Gathegi in 'New Moon' - Summit Ent.
He'll be performing, alongside other actors, theatrical portrayals of famous, pre-selected love scenes.
According to The LAist, the show is to be called "Hot Flicks: Love Scenes from the Silver Screen," and it will take place tomorrow evening at M Bar in Los Angeles, California.
The show is to be presented by "WordTheatre, an organization that puts on literary salons with authors and actors," and "Actors from both stage and screen will perform staged readings of famous love scenes from movies--encompassing classics from Gone with the Wind to the more recent 500 Days of Summer."
Tickets are going for $20 in advance through here, or they are $27 at the door. "Doors open at 6 p.m.," and "performances [begin] at 7:30." Apparently, the bar also carries a ten dollar food minimum.
Sounds like a pretty cool way to spend the afternoon, though, doesn't it?
Robert Pattinson look-a-like to appear on 'Maury Povich'
A few weeks back, The Wichita Eagle brought forth the story of Jamie Greene, a young man who was experiencing the uncommon Robert Pattinson look-a-like dilemma.
When discussed here, the majority of commentators disagreed with the assertion that Greene favored Robert Pattinson to any great extent, but, apparently, the resemblance has proven enough to earn Greene a spot on The Maury Povich Show.
The story was, back in January, that many local area Twilight fans were getting Jamie Greene confused with Robert Pattinson and that it was causing him a bit of a hassle (though that did not stop Greene from attempting to make a splash at the Los Angeles premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon - albeit unsuccessfully).
Since then, according to a new report by the Eagle, Greene has evidently earned himself enough attention to warrant a television appearance alongside other celebrity look-a-likes.
According to the new report, after the Eagle's first story came out, the show went to great lengths to get in touch with Greene. "They called him at home. He didn't call back. They called QuikTrip for permission to call him at work. He didn't call back. Finally, they Fed-Exed him a package begging him to call back. So he did."
Apparently, he wasn't too sure whether the appearance was one which he wanted to make. It seems that hesitation quickly ended, though, because "[t]he show is flying Austin and a friend to New York City for taping at the end of this month. The show, which doesn't yet have an airdate scheduled, will be about celebrity look-alikes. There will be some type of contest among all the look-alikes on the show, and a prize for the winner."
