Kellan Lutz For ‘Love Is Louder’ Campaign

Kellan Lutz (aka Emmett Cullen)  contributed his video to the Love Is Louder campaign. 
In light of recent teen suicides linked to anti-gay bullying — specifically the death of Rutgers student Tyler Clementi — MTV partnered with Snow and the Jed Foundation (with support from DoSomething.org, the Trevor Project, Reach Out, Active Minds and the Ad Council) to create Love Is Louder and help spread messages of love and hope to teens who feel they might have run out of options.
“Hi, I’m Kellan Lutz, and I grew up feeling alone,” the “Twilight” star said in his video. “I’m from a big family, and I really wasn’t friends with my brothers. They loved to pick on me, but the thing is, I was never alone. Jesus was always there. Jesus is love, and love is louder.”

When Taylor Lautner was twelve years old, he was just an extra on the ABC special The Nick & Jessica Variety Hour.

The skit — hosted by Jessica Simpson — is a spoof of Jess' failed audition for The Mickey Mouse Club, a singing and dancing club where big stars like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake got their start. Tay plays "Joel," and he doesn't even have a line!

Peter and Nikki weigh in on the upcoming arrival of a ‘Breaking Dawn’ baby

Peter Facinelli talked to OK! about the upcoming shooting of Breaking Dawn, and what he expects it will be like to be a 23 year old grandfather once baby Renesmee makes an appearance.
Are you looking forward to being a Grandpa in the movie?
No. No one looks forward to being a grandfather.
Your wife said you’d be a foxy grandpa.
A foxy grandpa. Well, I think I wouldn’t have a lot of competition. There’s not a lot of 23 year old grandfathers. My character’s supposed to be 23.

In addition, Nikki Reed told People that she excited about how the baby affects her relationship with Jacob Black, played by Taylor Lautner.
“Selfishly, I’m really pleased with my relationship with this kid,” the actress, 22, tells PEOPLE while attending a Cirque du Tacori event in Santa Monica, “but I really like the way it affects my relationship with Jacob.”
Reed’s character, Rosalie Hale, has always had a sizable chip on her shoulder when it comes to Taylor Lautner’s shape-shifter, but after reading through the new scripts, Reed is looking forward to exploring her vampire’s softer side.

Catherine Hardwicke may direct ‘Romeo & Juliet’ TV series

Deadline.com is reporting that ABC is developing a television series based on Romeo and Juliet, and that Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke may direct the pilot! In addition, it looks like Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey is behind the developing series as well.
After ordering contemporary versions of Romeo & Juliet set in New York and Chicago the last two pilot seasons, ABC is going for the real thing this year, picking up for development a retelling of William Shakespeare’s classic tale set in Renaissance Verona. Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the feature adaptation of another story about star-crossed lovers belonging to clans that are at odds with each other, Twilight, is in talks to direct the potential Romeo & Juliet pilot in what would mark her TV directorial debut. Feature producers Todd Garner (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, the upcoming The Zookeeper) and Wyck Godfrey  & Marty Bowen (the Twilight franchise, Dear John) are behind the series adaptation, which is being written by World Trade Center scribe Andrea Berloff. Romeo & Juliet, which is produced by ABC Studios, follows the famous love story while also pealing away the curtain on the impetuous, incestuous, bloody and violent relationships during the Renaissance in Verona. In addition to Garner, Godfrey and Bowen, Sean Robin will also executive produce the project.

Twilight’ books & ‘Eclipse’ film: Australian Kids Choice Awards winners

The Twilight books, Eclipse film and actors were nominated at the Australian Kids Choice Awards this year, and the ceremony was held last week. And the results are in!
On Friday, Nickelodeon’s Australian Kids’ Choice Awards event took place in Sydney, Australia, and the Twilight series nabbed two of the night’s awards.
The Twilight series books were chosen in the “Best Book” category, while The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was chosen for “Favorite Movie.”

Giant ‘Breaking Dawn’ casting update: Covens & Nomads

Summit has announced the casting for numerous characters for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, including various Covens and Nomads.  Here is the press release with photos. Click the links for each actors IMDb page. I am still hunting for verification on who a few of the actors are and didn’t want to post the wrong info.
Summit Entertainment announced today the following have been cast in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN for roles in The Amazon Coven, The Egyptian Coven, The Irish Coven and The Romanian Coven as well as the American and European Nomads as outlined below.

THE AMAZON COVEN
· The Amazon Coven is comprised of Tracey Heggins as Senna and Judi Shekoni as Zafrina.
· Among the oldest vampires in the world, Senna and Zafrina are descendants of an ancient Amazonian tribe.  They have lived outside of civilization for centuries and therefore make no attempt to keep up a human facade. Though they drink human blood, the Amazons have long been allies of Carlisle.

THE EGYPTIAN COVEN
· The Egyptian Coven is comprised of:
o Omar Metwally (RENDITION, MUNICH) as Amun.
o Andrea Gabriel (Lost, House) as Kebi.
o Rami Malek (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) as Benjamin.
o Angela Sarafyan (LOVE HURTS, THE GOOD GUYS) as Tia.
· The Egyptian Coven consists of Amun, Kebi, Benjamin, and Tia, with Amun as the leader. It is stated that even though they are not a biological family, they could pass for one. Amun is extremely protective of his family and fearful of Aro.

THE IRISH COVEN
· The Irish Coven is comprised of Marlane Barnes (THE TREE OF LIFE) as Maggie, Lisa Howard as Siobhan and Patrick Brennan as Liam.
· The Irish Coven, a relatively young group, was founded by Siobhan and Liam, but Maggie’s talent made her an important element of it. They are not vegetarian but they are civilized.

THE ROMANIAN COVEN
· The Romanian Coven is comprised of Noel Fisher (THE PACIFIC, FINAL DESTINATION 2) as Vladimir and Guri Weinberg (MUNICH) as Stefan.
· The Romanian Coven is one of the oldest covens in the world and they were the ruling vampire family until they were unseated by the Volturi.  For that reason they harbor a centuries old resentment of the Italian coven.

THE AMERICAN NOMADS
· The American Nomads are comprised of:
o Lee Pace as Garrett (Pushing Daisies, THE GOOD SHEPHERD).
o Toni Trucks (MUSIC AND LYRICS) as Mary.
o Bill Tangradi (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) as Randall.
o Erik Odom as Peter.
o Valorie Curry (Veronica Mars) as Charlotte.
· Turned during the Revolutionary War, Garrett has chosen to live a nomadic existence, wandering the world on his own. Garrett has never lost the rebellious spirit of his human life, and loves a good fight, always rooting for the underdog. Though not a vegetarian, Garrett is among Carlisle’s closest and oldest friends.
· Mary and Randall are American nomadic vampires.
· Peter and Charlotte are nomadic vampires and mates.  They were created during the aftermath of the Southern Vampire Wars, in which Jasper was a key player.  They have remained friends with Jasper ever since.

THE EUROPEAN NOMADS
· The European Nomads are comprised of Joe Anderson (THE CRAZIES) as Alistair
· A nomadic vampire from England, Alistair has a misanthropic, brooding personality and a deep mistrust of all authority.  Although he counts Carlisle as his closest acquaintance, he doesn’t visit more than once a century.

· The next chapter of THE TWILIGHT SAGA will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on November 18, 2011 and the second coming to theatres on November 16, 2012.
