Hi Welcome to the Twilight Universe blogger. This blogger is all about Twilight. The cast, Books, movies, everything, and anything Twilight. And all the latest Twilight news about the cast, ect.
Over the past couple of years, Robert Pattinson has practically been a The Today Show regular when it comes to promoting his forthcoming films. With Twilight, in 2008, he and Kristen Stewart went on the show to promote the film, and with The Twilight Saga: New Moon, he also made his way onto the show to talk about his work as "Edward Cullen" with Matt Lauer.
Several clever fansites picked up on the fact that Pattinson is slated to appear on The Today Show on March 1st, according to TV Guide, to promote his March-release film Remember Me.
That'll be the third scheduled appearance for Pattinson on March 1st, then. He's already slated for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon as well as the actual premiere of Remember Me. Pattinson is also scheduled to appear on The View on March 2nd.
According to TV Guide’s TV Listings, Rob will appear on the ‘Today Show’ on March 1st! (although, it hasn’t officially been confirmed.) The show airs at 7AMEST.
Several of Twilight's finest made their ways down the red carpet of this year's British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards. Included in that list were Kristen Stewart, Anna Kendrick, and Robert Pattinson.
Kristen Stewart was nominated for, and won, the BAFTA Orange "Rising Star" Award (more on that is available here).
Anna Kendrick was nominated for "Supporting Actress" for her work in Up In The Air, and though she did not win - the award, instead, went to Mo'Nique for her work in Precious - she looked beautiful as always. A full list of winners can be foundhere.
Robert Pattinson attended the BAFTAs as a guest presenter, and he presented for the category of "Original Screenplay."
As the event took place and aired in the United Kingdom, it was a bit difficult for some American audiences to watch the processions, so here are a few videos from the red carpet and the actual ceremony.

Friday, The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Michael Sheen joined his Alice In Wonderland co-stars on the stage of the "Ultimate Fan Event" celebration of the film's pending release.
Also on-stage were Johnny Depp, Matt Lucas, Crispin Glover, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, and Anne Hathaway, and director Tim Burton also attended. A recent clip from the film finally revealed a bit of Michael Sheen's work in the movie as the "White Rabbit."
Kristen Stewart won the Bafta Rising Star award.
Here is the information from Empire Online: Now it’s time for the public-voted Orange Rising Star award, which is being presented by last year’s winner Noel Clarke, looking as sharp as ever even in his reading specs. His blurb manages to mention films by all the nominees – we believe his claim that he wrote it himself given that it’s not immediately forgettable. Given that this is voted for by the public, are we immediately discounting the ace-but-unknown (and foreign) Tahar Rahim for A Prophet, and betting that Twilight’s Kristen Stewart will take it? We kinda are. But let’s see: the BAFTA goes to…KRISTEN STEWART. What a shock. “Wow. Thank you. I guess first I have to thank all the fans of Twilight for proving again and again to be THE most devoted and attentive fans ever. Considering this is voted, credit is due to them so thank you. To the other actors nominated, I am so blown away by you that I can’t even describe it. To be voted among you is just overwhelming. And I’d like to say hi to my family.” That’s rather a sweet speech, and one that shows awareness of the public vote; fair play.

Cinematical evaluates Kristen Stewart’s and Robert Pattinson’s upcoming projects and asks which is the bigger box office draw.
“For all the money the Twilight franchise is making, how much of it actually has to do with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson? This March, exactly one week apart, both Stewart and Pattinson will be releasing a pair of movies that are arguably the biggest since they’ve been wrapped up in all things Twilight. Prior to this, Stewart watched Adventureland gross a measly $16 million, while Pattinson’s Little Ashes didn’t even cross the $500,000 mark. “
It seems to us that they are leaving out one really key factor: good script. If something looks like a snoozer or is too artsy, people will wait for the DVD. Mainstream with a great story and people, in our opinion, will come out. Plus what do you think of the Cinematical assertion that both Rob and Kristen have to get out from under Twilight?
There was a HUGE Alice in Wonderland fan event featuring the star-studded cast (including Michael Sheen) and the bands that play on the soundtrack. Collider has the write up and a great photo gallery.
They also were able to talk to Kristen at the press junket and accidentally discovered that it was her co-star Eddie Ramayne, who was a childhood friend of Robert Pattinson’s, who first mentioned Rob to Kristen.
“Kristen Stewart was a pre-“Twilight” 17 years old when she filmed the coming of age drama “The Yellow Handkerchief,” with British actor Eddie Redmayne in New Orleans, a film due out later this month. But the two stars revealed to AccessHollywood.com on Thursday that Kristen learned her first details about her then-upcoming co-star Robert Pattison from Eddie, who turned out to be a R-Patz pal.
“Randomly, at the end of this, you were about to do ‘Twilight,’” Eddie said, turning to his “Handkerchief” co-star Kristen during Access’ interview. “I had known Rob since I was [younger]. So I was like, ‘Yeah! You’re working with my mate Rob!’ You’re like, ‘Really? What’s he like?’ I was like, ‘He’s a good boy.’”
Kristen said although she first attempted to find out more about her “Twilight” co-star from his pal, she realized Eddie’s lips were fairly sealed.
“I sort of got from [Eddie] that they were friends for a long time and he wasn’t going to say anything bad about him. Even if there was something bad, it was just sort of like, ‘Yeah, it’ll be good,’” Kristen laughed.
Eddie confirmed he and his British boys club buddies stick together, a group that includes Eddie, R-Patz and “Vanity Fair” actor Tom Sturridge.” Read the rest on Access Hollywood
