Taylor Lautner Makes TV Guide’s #9 on Sexy Beast List
Taylor Lautner from Twilight makes TV Guide’s #9 on Sexy Beast list (when to watch show, video)
The TV Guide Network is bringing you the sexiest beasts (including werewolves, vampires and mutant creatures) on October 24, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT. Taylor Lautner from the hit saga ‘Twilight’ made number 9 on the list. The show is the perfect way to combine sexiness with Halloween.
Taylor Lautner plays Jacob Black, and in the second film ‘New Moon’ Taylor Lautner not only changed his appearance for the role, but created a whole sensation that drove young girls into a frenzy and dividing Twilight fans into taking sides: Team Edward and Team Jacob.
The character ‘Jacob Black’ was created by Stephenie Meyer for the series and Taylor Lautner was almost cut from the second movie due to the vast differences in physical appearance his character was to undergo. In the first movie ‘Twilight,’ Jacob Black was seen as a long haired, Native America from the Quileute tribe. In New Moon, Jacob’s character undergoes a ‘werewolf awakening’ which includes ripped muscles and a haircut.

Dakota Fanning In Talks With Summit’s New Film ‘If I Stay’
The talented Dakota Fanning (aka Jane) may be working with Summit Entertainment again on a new film.
Summit Entertainment likes to keep its “Twilight” stars in the family. The studio kept Robert Pattinson in the mix with romantic drama “Remember Me” and cut another check to Billy Burke for the upcoming action flick “Drive Angry.” Then there’s Dakota Fanning, who not only starred in the sci-fi “Push” but in the last two “Twilight” flicks as well. And as she gears up for work on “Breaking Dawn,” she just might be staying put with Summit.[Source: MTV]
The 16-year-old actress is in talks to star in Summit’s “If I Stay,” a supernatural story adapted from Gayle Forman’s young adult novel, according to Variety.
“Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke was originally attached to direct the film, with Summit chief Erik Feig saying in 2009, “When we were thinking of the perfect director to capture the emotion, grace and passion of this beautiful book, one filmmaker became the clear and only choice: Catherine Hardwicke.” But now Hardwicke is out — off to direct “Red Riding Hood” with Amanda Seyfried and Gary Oldman — and Brazilian director Heitor Dhalia is in.
“If I Stay” follows a gifted classical musician named Mia (to be played by Fanning) and her indie rocker boyfriend. Mia and her family suffer a devastating car accident, leaving the young girl trapped between life and death and forced to decide if she has the will to live.
There’s no word yet about when the film will shift into production, but Fanning should be busy for a while with the two parts of “Breaking Dawn.”
The Twilight Saga Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg Expands On ‘Breaking Dawn’
The Twilight Saga screenwriter talked with PopcornBiz about having fun expanding some characters and stories into two Breaking Dawn movies.
“I did actually [get to do that], because we got to fill out the story because we’re doing the next two movies,” said Rosenberg. “So there was room to play and expand on some of the characters that Stephanie introduces. That was a lot of fun.”[Source: PopcornBiz.
“It’s a much more grownup movie – It’s an adult story,” the writer said of evolving the franchise beyond its high school origins. “The stakes are raised even higher because it’s not the story of teens. It’s the stories of grownups, so we’re talking about marriage and children and family – and these are pretty grownup things, but sexy.”
If you haven’t read the books, beware of the SPOILER up ahead.
Rosenberg says the highlight of the story will be seeing Kristen Stewart’s character Bella become a vampire at long last. “Kristen gets to make the transformation and that is going to be so exciting to see. [Director] Bill [Condon] and I talked about it in developing this script and the screenplay. Now she’s going to embody it. It’s going to be so great.”
Rosenberg, who penned all of the “Twilight” films and previously wrote for Showtime’s “Dexter,” hasn’t quite adjusted to the fact that, minus a few rewrites, her bloody good run is coming to a close.
“It’s a shocking experience after four years to not be writing ‘Twilight!’” she said.
