Here’s part of Kristen interview with Elle UK!
On Twilight: ‘With Twilight, we never thought it was going to be so huge; we never thought we’d do a second, a third. I’m quite nervous about the third one, actually. It’s so such a privilege to be able to play a role for so long. Also, it’s such a product now; it didn’t start out as a product. I read the first book and thought, “Wow, this is a pager turner.” There was something in the script – the energy. It’s raw desire, that’s what that book is. Which is why it’s weird that little kids read it. I’m like, “What are you thinking about when you’re reading it?” I thought that it was going to be a really simple, overly dramatic – which was what was attractive about it – rotten love story. When they cast me it wasn’t like “Omigod, I got this huge movie”; it was like, “OK, I got this film.” You have to rev up to it.’[Source: Kstewdevotee via Kstewartfans.
On fame: ‘What you don’t see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. All you see is an actor or a celebrity lit up by a flash…A lot of the time I can’t handle it. It’s f***ed. I never expected that this would be my life.’
On growing up: ‘My family are amazing. I had like, the perfect upbringing. It sucks for people like Lindsay [Lohan], but it’s not her fault that she’s so off the rails.’
On music: ‘I’m just getting into The Smiths actually. Vicar in a Tutu is my favourite song. I was singing along to it this morning in my room; I’m so emo! I’m listening to Camera Obscura. It’s really ‘”chicky music”. I listen to stuff over and over. My favourite band is Interpol, and I’m listening to Broken Bells a lot, too. They are the new band from the lead singer of The Shins. I’m always going somewhere, so I get the chance to listen to a lot of music.
On Robert Pattinson: Ah, you’ll have to read the full interview in July ELLE out now.
Xavier Samuel Interview With GQ PLUS More Photos!

Speaking of thrillers: You’re on the poster for the new Twilight film, Eclipse. How did this happen?
I did the audition from Sydney. I put the audition down on tape and sent it over.
Actors are always putting themselves on tape. But they never actually get the role that way!
I’ve been doing that for quite a while—doing these auditions from Australia and sending them out. I don’t know whose desk they land on, or if anyone even watches them. To hear back was a surprise. I flew to Vancouver on a maybe. It was me and four other guys. And I was shooting before I knew it.
Were you a fan of the Twilight series? Tell the truth.
I watched the first film on the plane, on the way over to Vancouver. Then I went straight to the bookstore.
Funny. You play Riley, a hungry newborn vampire out on a rampage. Full disclosure: I read the book, and Riley’s only on one page.
Yes, I was flipping through the book, thinking: Where’s Riley? He’s whittled down to one line. But in the film, we venture into the world of Riley and watch him assembling this newborn army. It’s more action-packed. And it gives me something more to do, thankfully.
Do you get to inflict much damage on the world?
There was no neck biting. I threw a vampire off of a burning car. I also threw a massive log with one hand. The log was attached to a hydraulic system. It made me look really strong.
Is it hard to be the new kid in a franchise like this?
It is a bit like the first day of school. But I felt like part of the family.
Most of your scenes are with Bryce Dallas Howard—who plays the villain, Victoria. She was also new to the Twilight family. Did that help?
We bonded quite early. We just kind of hit it off from the very beginning, rehearsed a lot of stuff, and talked about this almost Lady Macbeth kind of relationship.
You’re intellectualizing Twilight.
You see that Shakespeare reference I just made? [laughs] But she manipulates him in that way.
I’m impressed. How was the green-screen work? Obviously you’re not fighting wolves.
The director would yell Action! and this guy puts a stick in your face. That stick is the wolf. They didn’t teach that at drama school. I must have been sick that day.
Last question: You’re one of many Australians working in Hollywood. Do you all know one another?
We have cult meetings at midnight, somewhere near the Hollywood sign.
Entertainment Weekly Gives The Twilight Saga Eclipse Soundtrack B+!
Entertainment Weekly magazine reviewed The Twilight Saga Eclipse Soundtrack and gave it a B+!
At this point, even the most entrenched haters of Twilight’s vampire-sparkle voodoo concede the soundtracks’ indie-rock bona fides — though they might wish the music came shrouded in a plain brown wrapper. You can pre-order the Eclipse Soundtrack at Amazon and iTunes!
Like last October’s New Moon collection, Eclipse operates as a sort of alt-party primer: original songs from the genre’s current varsity squad, with a smattering of JV newbies. Pomp-rockers Muse, practically the movies’ musical mascots by now, provide the requisite dose of Queen-meets-Rush grandiosity on ”Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever),” while Jack White side project the Dead Weather revel in swampy blooze-ooze on ”Rolling in on a Burning Tire.” Vampire Weekend, stripped of their habitual Afro-pop swaddling, work the harpsichord-tinged twee of ”Jonathan Low” into a pleasingly woolly tangle, though Australian chanteuse Sia’s ”My Love” does more with much less — her fragile ballad is so ethereal and otherworldly, it should be sung in Elvish. U.K. indie-pop outfit Fanfarlo’s rickety ”Atlas” sounds like Talking Heads on a dirt-road detour; Beck and British songstress Bat for Lashes trade haunting echo-chamber vocals on the percussion-heavy duet ”Let’s Get Lost”; and on the heady ”Heavy in Your Arms,” Florence + the Machine make like Siouxsie Sioux leading a tribal marching band into battle. L.A. unknowns Eastern Conference Champions co-opt Radiohead’s dense existential dread, Band of Horses conjure up another beardy folk ramble, and this summer’s palest citizens get a pretty solid ready-made mixtape. B+

Tyson Houseman Interview
The Film Yap has an interview with Tyson Houseman.
Check it all out here.
Here is an excerpt:
The Yap: Great, thanks. So how did you get connected with the whole “Twilight” phenomenon?
TH: Well, “New Moon” was the first movie I’ve done, and it was the first audition I’d even ever been to. I remember I got the part, I was looking on the internet for a job on Craigslist, and I found this job that said there was an open casting call, and it didn’t even said for “Twilight,” it just said “a major motion picture,” for a Native American, age 15-25. I thought “I fit that description, so I’ll check it out.” So I went down there, and that’s when I first realized it was for “Twilight,” because there was a lineup from the open casting call like 4 or 5 blocks long, and it was just filled with “Twilight” fans with books and t-shirts and everything, and I thought, “yep, this is probably one of the ”Twilight” films. I didn’t really expect to get anything out of it, but I went and stayed at the audition all day long, and there was only like 5 of us left, and they filmed me at the end of the day doing a scene. The next week they told me I got a callback, and I went and I did the callback, and a week later they called me and said I got the part.
