Abduction: This timing looks much more realistic – 2012 release.
Cancun: Not must to add to this film. It’s in development and Taylor Lautner is supposedly attached to the film, which is releasing in 2011.
Stretch Armstrong: Taylor Lautner will play Hasbros’ Superhero, Stretch Armstrong. There was a bit of controversy when Taylor took this part, as it came at the same time that he pulled out of playing the lead in Mattel’s “Max Steel”. This film is in pre-production and had a release date of 2012.

WHY NOW: He’s been newly minted as the “hot” vampire in the wildly popular Twilight franchise, making his debut in its third installment, Eclipse, due out this summer. Rumored to have beaten out Channing Tatum and Harry Potter actor Tom Felton, Samuel landed the role of Riley, right-hand vampire to Bryce Dallas Howard ’s villainess, Victoria. “He’s essentially a tragic character,” Samuel says. “[Director] David Slade and I talked a lot about conveying how complex he is—he’s harboring extreme jealousy and hatred for humanity because that’s exactly what he’s been deprived of.”
WHY HE’LL LAST: Samuel’s compulsively watchable performances in Australian movies such as 2008’s Newcastle (he played a nottotally- out-of-the-closet Goth teenager struggling to find his place in a clique of hard-core surf junkies) are in part a product of working on small-budget sets filming at breakneck paces. “Most of the Australian films I’ve worked on shot for five weeks max, and a second take was a luxury. It taught me to be prepared and focused from the beginning.”
BUT IS HE READY FOR TWILIGHT-LEVEL FAME? “I haven’t quite got my hands on any brochure that says, ‘In the event that you become insanely famous, what do you do?’ But I think I can take a leaf from Rob and Kristen’s book. They’ve done a good job keeping their wits in the whirlwind of it all but also letting it get them where they want to be future-role-wise.”
PROOF HE REALLY DOES DO HIS HOMEWORK: Photos leaked on the Internet of Samuel and Howard filming their highly anticipated kissing scene, one they aptly prepped for. “Bryce and I watched YouTube clips of the best kisses in cinematic history for research,” he says. Yes, but how did he get on with the practicing? “What happens in the rehearsal room stays in the rehearsal room.”

Sure, we all know Johnny Depp is probably one of the greatest actors of all time. However, with the success of The Twilight Saga and Robert Pattinson’s ever growing popularity, RPatz is being compared to the great Johnny himself.Robert Pattinson has leapt to such meteoric heights with Twilight that I am compelled to compare him with his veteran counterpart, the super sexy Johnny Depp.So…what do you think? I agree, Johnny Depp is the man! While people can’t help but compare celebs all the time, it’s not fair to pin Rob against such an accomplished actor such as Johnny Depp.
Hollywood’s sexy actor Johnny Depp who, at 46, gives the young breed of actors a run for their money is considered (and rightly so) the world’s sexiest and most stylish man alive. Besides being a gorgeous-looking hunk, he’s one of the finest actors to have ever graced the showbiz industry. His vitality on the sets is infectious and he never fails to showcase his versatility that he always carries in his heavily-laden armour.
Now, it’s true that Robert Pattinson has just kissed stardom and he has to prove his mettle for years till he can step into the shoes of Jack Sparrow. But, does he have the potential:
The points in Rob’s favour are:
1. His unmatched sexiness
2. Those toxic eyes and that cold, penetrative stare
3. His wit
4. His amiability and overall persona
5. His style (Rob is the trend setter with his messy hair and hooded jackets)
However, a few elements that Rob needs to work on are:
1. His acting (Rob has to take it to a higher notch to come anywhere near Depp)
2. His craft of dialogue delivery
3. Choice of films (as a post-Twilight Pattinson will be carefully scrutinised)
4. His dedication and passion for cinema (He nurtures feelings for music that may see him take his acting a tad recklessly)
5. His comfort level before the camera (he needs to shed all inhibitions that he recently showed while filming bed scenes in ‘Bel Ami’). He must realize that when the camera starts rolling, he no longer remains Pattinson but transforms into his character wholly.

In a recent tweet from Eclipse director David Slade, he shared a picture of Howard Shore and the conductor at the Abbey Rd Studios with the Orchestra, and let us know that the Eclipse sound score has finished recording!

It’s all to promote recycling and the Keep America Beautiful project. According to the Baltimore Sun both Jennie and Peter made art out of cat food cans (Frisky’s cat food is a sponsor) and their creations are being auctioned on Ebay to support the charity. Jennie did a floral arrangement(bid here), and Peter made a motorcycle(bid here).

As we all know, the trailer will be premiered on the Oprah Winfrey Show (check your local listings for times), but an interesting bit of info: it will be introduced by none other than the lovely Dakota Fanning! NEW MOON SWEEPS NOMINATIONS FOR UK NATIONAL MOVIE AWARDS
Twilight is taking over the UK’s National Movie Awards this year, and it’s not too late to vote! New Moon is nominated for Best Fantasy, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are nominated for Performance of the Year and Eclipse has a nomination for Most Anticipated Movie of the Summer. The awards give accolades in only six categories: Breakthrough Movie, Performance of the Year (which is split into best male and best female performance), Most Anticipated Movie of the Summer, and Best Movies in the Action/Thriller, Family and Fantasy genres. Though “New Moon” was not shortlisted for the Action/Thriller or Breakthrough categories, it received solid nominations in three others: the feature was nominated for Best Fantasy; Robert, Taylor, and Kristen each got nods for Performance of the Year; and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” will contend for Most Anticipated Movie of the Summer.
The formal (if not patriotic) name of the awards notwithstanding, winners are decided by public vote—and contributions aren’t limited to moviephiles living in the U.K.. Between today and April 30th, any fan may mail in a ballot or vote online, though certain special prizes (such as the red carpet VIP sweepstakes) are open to U.K. nationals only.
