HitFix: 15 Movies You Can’t Miss This Fall

HitFix has created their list of the fifteen movies that you can’t miss this fall. Several familiar films appear on the list, but most importantly:

‘Breaking Dawn, Pt. I’

Opening: Nov. 18
Starring: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, eh, you know ‘em all anyway
Why: It’s almost the end of the line for the Bella Swan saga.  How graphic will the love scene be between Bella and Edward?  What does the wedding dress look like? How often will Jacob pout over losing her to a vampire?  How will Oscar winner Bill Condon’s involvement as a director increase the dramatic quality of the film?  We’re on pins and needles.

Can Taylor Break the ‘Twilight’ Box Office Curse?

The Twilight Saga turned Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson until some of the biggest young stars on the planet. Teen girls even split into rival factions, Team Edward or Team Jacob, to support their respective supernatural crushes. Despite the incredible box office success of the teen vampire franchise, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s fans have not supported their efforts outside of Twilight.
Taylor Lautner has yet to star in a major film outside Twilight, but some Hollywood producers are already convinced that he could be the next major action star. Besides his good looks, impossibly cut abs and large fan base, Twilight-Because-Of-Karate–The-Blue-Power-Ranger-33984/”>he really does know Kung Fu. After seeing Taylor in action in the trailer for his upcoming Bourne-like thriller Abudciton, were convinced he really can pull it off.

Boo Boo Stewart To Receive Rising Star Award At TVIFF

Boo Boo Stewart will be honored at the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival on September 18th. Peter Bogdanovich and Virginia Madsen are also being honored.
The award ceremony will take place at the Ultrastar Tower 10 in the Tower Plaza shopping center. The award will be given to Boo Boo by Cinema Entertainment, a non profit organization that celebrates music and television.
