Robert Pattinson talks about New York, to be interviewed by 'Remember Me' co-star Pierce Brosnan

In the sixth video segment from the "Ask Rob" series at the Official Remember Me Facebook page, Robert Pattinson talked about his experience filming Remember Me in New York City.
While it wasn't the usual course of discussion when it comes to that subject (that is, the fact that the fans made a very memorable presence on the set), Pattinson did talk about the fact that the city of New York itself was an integral part of both the film and his decision to take the role.

Yeah, New York’s definitely one of the characters, and I think . . . I mean, that was one of the main reasons I wanted to do the movie is to work in New York . . . To shoot for an entire summer in New York was a sort of perfect situation. I think in a lot of ways . . . the script and what Allen wanted to do was so sort of viscerally New York . . . There’s a bond that people who live in New York have with their city which is a very interesting and powerful thing to watch especially as an outsider.
