Robert Pattinson to Join Madame Tussauds in London!

It’s official — Robert Pattinson will  be a wax figure at a museum in London -
We expect to spark fan frenzy today as we’ve just confirmed the next actor to be admitted into our attraction is the hottest celebrity of the moment, Brit born A-lister and star of the phenomenally successful Twilight saga, Robert Pattinson. The wax figure of the British heartthrob will be revealed in March, ahead of the release of his latest film, Remember Me, in early April.
The studios team are busy recreating R-Pattz’s trademark sultry expression and messy hair, whilst the figure’s outfit will reflect his rugged style with an open collared shirt and skinny trousers. The figure making process takes four months of intense work to complete at a cost of £150,000.
“Robert Pattinson is one of the hottest celebrities in the world and we have been inundated by requests to make him at Madame Tussauds London,” commented Liz Edwards, our PR Manager. “We are delighted that we’ll be able to give fans the chance to to meet their idol and pose for pictures with him. They can even give him a kiss on the cheek which I’m sure will be a big hit with his female followers!”
Fans can cosy up with Pattinson in his own special VIP area in the exclusive A-list party area. The actor will be in good company as he joins a host of other top celebrities from screen superstars including Jonny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, to fashion icons like Kate Moss.
If I was the owner of that museum .. I would be keeping that Waxtastic Rob under lock and key!
I can’t even write any more. My mind is WAY to far gone in the gutter!

Jackson Rathbone and ‘100 Monkeys’ in Portrait Magazine!

New pictures and interview of Eclipse hottie Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale) and his band 100 Monkeys via Portrait Magazine.

Kat from Portrait Magazine had the awesome opportunity to sit down with the band. They discussed the Spencer Bell Legacy Concert and answered questions from fans -
Hi Guys. Could you tell us about the Spencer Bell Legacy concert? How did you get involved?
The members of 100 Monkeys have been working with the Bell family and Dr. Gary Hammer for a few years now, putting on the legacy shows and trying to spread the word of Spencer’s music and art since he passed away in 2006. We got involved because many of us were personal friends of Spencer’s, and bringing his music to other people means a lot to us.
At the end of the day what do you most want to inspire in people through this concert?
It means a lot to us when we hear that listening to Spencer’s music or reading his writing has inspired someone to pull their guitar out of the closet or start writing again. Anyone can create art and get satisfaction from the process, and when people come together as a group to celebrate and appreciate an artist’s life and work, it can make you believe in yourself too.
(Question from Susanne)
I heard that Jackson and Jerad produced a movie together. What is it about?
It’s about a young man with down syndrome who romantically pursues a single mother in a small town, while her volatile ex-boyfriend watches on.
(Question from Anonymous)
For Jackson: What’s your favorite childhood memory?
I sled into a cement wall when I was five and busted my head open. Had to go to the hospital and get stitched up.
(Question from Megan)
Besides being musicians Jackson, Jerad and Ben G are all actors. Is there any chance we would be seeing all of them together in a movie?
Yes definitely. We are working on a couple projects right now that would involve the whole band.
(Question from Cynee)
What happened to Jackson Rathbone’s face? It looks as though he has a slightly bruised left eye,a scrape on the bridge of his nose and a scrape on the left side of his face.
Diamond Jim Brady says, “Leave it to legend.”

Robert Pattinson’s Mother Should be “Very Proud”, Says Kate Burton

Gossip Cop attended the Remember Me premiere last night in New York. In their new article they state that Robert Pattinson’s fellow Remember Me cast member, Kate Burton, told Pattinson’s mother that she should be “Very Proud” of her son -
Without giving away the plot points, “Remember Me” is a very emotional film, and Pattinson leads the charge with an incredibly powerful performance.
But Gossip Cop wasn’t the only who felt Pattinson was gripping onscreen. Quite randomly, as we were hanging out talking to a friend from L.A., one of the film’s actors approached a blonde woman standing next to us and began to sing Pattinson’s praises.
That co-star was Kate Burton, who plays the executive assistant to Pattinson’s high-powered father (Pierce Brosnan). And the blonde  woman who Burton approached was the star’s real-life mom, Clare Pattinson.
So what did the actress say to Pattinson’s mom?
Burton told Clare Pattinson that she was legendary screen actor Richard Burton’s daughter – whoa! – and that Pattinson is a special actor, and she should be “very proud.”
Among the others in attendance at the post-premiere party were co-stars Brosnan, Emilie de Ravin, Chris Cooper, and yes, Kristen Stewart, who hung out in the same VIP area as Pattinson.
Awww! I’m glad to hear that people are really impressed with Rob. See, he isn’t just the Vampire from Twilight!!

Exclusive red carpet coverage 'Remember Me' premiere

Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin - AP Photo
March 1 at the Paris Theater on West 58th Street in New York City, New York, the premiere for Robert Pattinson  and Emilie de Ravin's Remember Me took place in front of hundreds of tenacious fans.
Some fans reported being in line for over four hours prior to the event's beginning. That's a far cry from the time spent awaiting the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon in Los Angeles last November, but it's also absolutely freezing in New York in March.
To cover the event, I teamed up with Heidi from Twilight Facebook to interview some of the cast of the film on the red carpet of the premiere.
Attending the premiere were, of course, Pattinson and de Ravin as well as co-stars Pierce Brosnan, Ruby Jerins, Lena Olin, Gregory Jbara, Peyton List, Chris Cooper, and others. Also present were first-time screenwriter Will Fetters and veteran New Yorker and Remember Me director Allen Coulter as well as the wise-thinking producer Nick Osbourne. Supporting attendants at the event included Kristen Stewart, Tom Sturridge, and others.
You can see video coverage of interviews with these castmembers below as well as a slideshow of the cast and filmmakers on the red carpet.

Robert Pattinson is actually 'bothered' on 'Jimmy Fallon'!

Robert Pattinson - AP Photo
Kudos to  Robert Pattinson for being a sport . . . the "bothered" sort.
Ever since the announcement came down that Pattinson would be appearing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, a show which celebrated its one year annivesary on the same occasion, to promote his film Remember Me, fans suspected that Pattinson would have a sense of humor about the long-lived "Rob is Bothered" series that Fallon has begun to traditionalize.
Well, tonight, Pattinson did indeed participate in the "bothered" line, and he even climbed up a tree with Jimmy Fallon for good measure.
In addition to accepting and having a hand in Fallon's bit, he also talked a little more seriously about the film, saying "essentially it's about two people, you know, I guess falling in love . . ." but that it was difficult to fairly estimate the real focus of the film.
He also revealed that he does not play music on the Remember Me soundtrack, much to some audience members' chagrin.

Jacob Black Barbie Design Flaw

jacobbarbieoops2
One of the things we love about John Henson who has created the Twilight Costume Collection (filled with actual and replica costumes from the movies) is John’s attention to detail. Seriously nothing, and we do mean NOTHING gets by John. He wants things down to the lining in the jacket to be correct.  If you doubt us just ask him about Bella’s St. Jude’s bracelet and you will get a whole lesson in beads, pictures, stringing etc.
John is also the mastermind who designed the costumes for the Hillywood Show’s New Moon parody. John even has a bit part in the video where he plays the tattoo artist. He was so well camouflaged we didn’t even realize that it was him at first!
correcteyes2Anyway, John came to us with a very interesting piece of information the other day. John wrote, “I’m not sure if you’ve seen it or if it’s been brought to your attention, but Mattel’s new “Jacob Black” doll has his Quileute tribal tattoo painted UPSIDE DOWN on his arm. I noticed it when the first prototype pictures were being posted on the internet, and I didn’t call Mattel because I figured that EVERYTHING would change on the actual consumer model. WRONG! I picked up two dolls for the collection yesterday and I was a bit miffed. I can see the oversight…the tattoo is very complex and when your dealing with a replica that’s 1/4” scale…blah blah.
So…. I called Mattel this morning. I talked to a lovely gal named Linda who took all of my information. I told her how important this little detail is to the fans and she’s getting the query to the “engineers” immediately. So…feel free to post this information so everyone can run out and buy this initial run of Jacob dolls…it was a limited supply run and now with this error they might be little investments for the future!!!”
So far Mattel hasn’t called back. it will be interesting to see it they fix this in the next run, as John says the “flawed dolls” could be a collectible.
Check out John’s website here.

Madame Tussauds To Add Robert Pattinson to Their Collection

RobertPattinsonTussauds
Perhaps the world’s most famous wax museum is adding Robert Pattinson to their Hollywood stars collection in their flagship, London museum. The price for this in American dollars is roughly $225,000. According to the museum’s site:
“We expect to spark fan frenzy today as we’ve just confirmed the next actor to be admitted into our attraction is the hottest celebrity of the moment, Brit born A-lister and star of the phenomenally successful Twilight saga, Robert Pattinson. The wax figure of the British heartthrob will be revealed in March, ahead of the release of his latest film, Remember Me, in early April.

Benefit Concert:Twilight Fan Trips

FanTripsNO
This just in from Twilight Fan Trips:
“Fan Trips.Travel are excited to announce the line-up for the Haiti Benefit Concert featuring MuteMath in New Orleans on Saturday, March 20, 2010!
The concert will take place at Mardi Gras World’s River City Ballroom as part of an after-party event in celebration of the celebrity baseball game. As with the celebrity baseball game, a portion of the proceeds from the concert benefit the worthy cause for relief to Haiti. The lineup was carefully chosen to appeal to all music fans and is as follows:
MuteMath is a Grammy Award nominated alternative rock band from New Orleans. Their most recent album, Armistice debuted at #18 on the Billboard 200, and also charted at # 4 on Billboard Rock charts and # 3 on the Billboard Digital Albums and Billboard Alternative Albums charts the same week. Appropriately enough, MuteMath is headlining this concert event as they have a huge following in the New Orleans region. MuteMath’s “Spotlight” was featured on the Twilight Original Movie Soundtrack.
Lee Safar is rising to the charts in her native Australia and around the world. Her hit single, “Take Me Away”, is #2 on the ReverbNation Charts in Australia. In 2009, the online hit “I’m Here” triggered an international online frenzy amongst Twilight fans upon the announcement that the song was being considered by for inclusion on The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack.
The National Rifle, a Philadelphia-based indie/rock/punk band, occasionally employing a saxophone and infectious, anthemic choruses, members Hugh, Lynna, Jeremiah, and Buddy go from jazz to classic punk sounds in no time at all. This diversity goes together perfectly and makes The National Rifle unique and memorable. This fusing of genres begs to be seen in person, and the group is known for their rowdy live shows. TNR enjoys a growing following among Twilight fans.
Tickets are on sale now and cost $30. Doors open at 7 PM and concert begins at 8. Click here http://www.fantrips.travel/pages/soh.html to purchase tickets or call 1 (800) 487-1136. Young adults and older are welcome.”

Robert Pattinson fears life after 'Twilight' (AP)

In this Feb. 27, 2010 photo, actor Robert Pattinson poses for a portrait in New York. (AP Photo/Charles Sykes)
NEW YORK - With his tousled, seemingly unwashed locks, and rumpled, just-rolled-out-of-bed undershirt and jeans,Robert Pattinson seems laid-back and carefree.
But the 23-year-old heartthrob, who attracts throngs of screaming fans wherever he goes, has a lot on his mind these days -- not the least of which is what will happen when the "Robsession" ends.
"If it suddenly dies down and suddenly no one is interested ... yeah, it is worrying," he says. "It's scary to think that it all might just fundamentally stop after the ' Twilight ' thing's finished."
That " Twilight thing" is the more than $1 billion movie franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's best-selling series. Pattinson stars as Edward Cullen, the vegetarian vampire who falls in love with human Bella Swan.
Despite the success of the first two films, " Twilight " and "New Moon," Pattinson hopes to break away from the emo, teenage undead role with his latest project, "Remember Me." The drama stars Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin as twenty-somethings falling in love while coping with family tragedy. Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper co-star.
Pattinson, also an executive producer on the film, recently talked to The Associated Press about nude scenes, being idolized and what he fears most in life.
AP: Did you feel a lot of pressure choosing "Remember Me," since it's the first time we're seeing you post-" Twilight "?
Pattinson: I just always liked the script. When I was making it, I didn't even think about it. Now that it's being released, it comes into context with all of that.
AP: I know your two sisters are older, but were you able to draw on any real-life experience for your role as a protective brother?
Pattinson: I've never really had the opportunity to do that, really. I remember when I was like 6 years old and one of my sisters was being bullied by someone and I came down with my foam baseball bat. That's the only example of brotherly protectiveness I had.
AP: What exactly are these modesty patches you used during the sex scenes?
Pattinson: Mine was made out of half a bra and some wig tape, which took me 35 minutes to actually figure out how to stick on and then it just fell off immediately. ... You're so obsessed whenever you have to do any nudity stuff. You're like, "Yeah, I definitely need this thing on." ... And then you get there and as soon as you're standing naked in front of everyone you don't care anyway. It's actually quite liberating."
AP: So if nudity doesn't make you blush, what does embarrass you?
Pattinson: Dancing. I used to dance all the time till I was 16 and I was at a wedding in Seattle. I didn't realize at the time that Canadian beer is like really strong, like 7.8 percent or something. And I was just going nuts on the dance floor and my dad was like, "What are you doing?" ... I've never been able to get that out of my head. I'm so self-conscious about it.
AP: When are you most at ease?
Pattinson: Arguing with people.
AP: What can't you live without?
Pattinson: Very little. I'm not one for ... comforts and stuff. I think I can kind of do without most things.
AP: So when you travel, there's nothing you can't leave home without?
Pattinson: No, I don't bring anything. I came here for like four days and ended up bringing this massive suitcase and ... I've been wearing the same clothes for like three days now.
AP: So you're not into shopping, yet you're ranked one of the top earners in Hollywood. That money must go somewhere?
Pattinson: I bought a really nice guitar recently, which is the only thing I've ever really spent a lot of money on. But that's the only thing. I had my apartment in London before when I was unemployed -- this tiny little place and I liked it more. You had to walk through a restaurant kitchen and up this staircase filled with trash and there's no heating. I like that. But now it's quite difficult. I can't live in places like that anymore. The people outside, that's the only issue.
AP: Do you regret taking on " Twilight "?
Pattinson: You can never tell. When I did " Twilight ," I had no idea it was going to be so big. I didn't know they were going to make the sequels afterward. ... But I don't really have any regrets about it. It's just, you can't. There's nothing you can do about it.
AP: So no pleasures? Reality TV?
Pattinson: I don't so much anymore. I used to watch things like " American Idol " and stuff because I used to like it. And now, I was back at home in London and I saw "Top of the Pops" they had a Christmas special and five out of the 10 people were reality TV show winners or ex-winners. Now people who want to be musicians think it's not about learning an instrument, it's not about doing anything. ...They should have much better idols."
AP: How do you feel about being an idol?
Pattinson: I don't really know if I am. It's still just the sort of character that people like a lot. I try and avoid promoting myself like that cause otherwise you end up with a huge burden of responsibility.
