BooBoo Stewart to play title role in ‘Jake Stevens’

I don’t recall hearing this before but I don’t know if it’s NEW news. Either way, I wanted to report that BooBoo Stewart will be playing Jake Stevens in the film Jake Stevens: The Last Protector, due out in 2011. Here is a quick synopsis from the film’s IMDb page.

A shy teenager learns about the true nature of his destiny as a superhero and his role in a battle against good and evil and those who will attempt to stop him.

Nikki Reed headed to Breaking Dawn set in “just over a week”

Nikki Reed tells HollywoodLife that she is headed to Louisiana next week to officially begin work on Breaking Dawn!

While Twilight and Eclipse were shot in Vancouver, the star said the cast is first headed down south for the fourth movie. “I’m headed out there [to New Orleans] in just over a week,” she said.

On what to expect from her performance:

So, what can we expect from Rosalie? Nikki said she wants fans to see the sympathetic side of her vampire character and hopes to humanize her. “I cross my fingers I can do it accurately.” In order to get back in to character, she said she re-read the book, Breaking Dawn and she has acting classes scheduled for next week and plans to prep up until she goes off to New Orleans! “I went through it last month once I got the scripts just to make sure nothing was missing.”

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Robert King confirmed rumors that Reaser will play a new love interest for Will (Josh Charles).
“She plays a sports writer,” he explained. “She and Will develop sparks in a way that Will hasn’t with any other woman except Alicia.”

Jennie Garth discusses her husband Peter Facinelli as Dr. Cullen

In a new interview with Parade, Jennie Garth cahtted a bit about husband Peter Facinelli and how his fame as Carlisle Cullen affects the family dynamic.

How do her daughters react to having a Cullen for a father.
“My 13-year-old has read the first two books. We stopped it there; it got a little too risque. But she’s more embarrassed by it, actually. She’s like, ‘Let’s not talk anything Twilight. Don’t mention it. Wear a hat to my school.’ She’s a little embarrassed by it, she wants people to like her for her and not because of him, or want to come to our house because of that. It’s something we deal with. But she’s proud of him. She’s actually a really gifted songwriter at 13; she’s like Taylor Swift. She wants to write scripts and write songs, so she’s constantly doing that.”

Want some answers to questions that were left open at the end of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner? At the fansite junket in June, Stephenie Meyer revealed some tidbits about the story.

Alison: Well we did fall in love with Bree. And we were trying to figure out WHY she was destroyed. We can’t figure out a rule that she broke. She didn’t reveal herself to a human. She didn’t…she wasn’t in the fight. So we wanna save her, and we wanna know why she’s not around.
SM: She’s not around because there are the specific rules. There’s the general rule: Don’t attract attention. And then there’s specific rules. And armies are against the rules. And so once you’ve screwed up enough that people are noticing — and people are noticing BIG TIME with this — you all are gone. And they just say. and that’s the way….. If they just said, “well this member of this coven was bad….and this one was bad. We’ll kill them, but you guys, you did okay, so….” That’s not how you rule with terror…you know, iron fist!
