Xavier Samuel says the Twilight fandom is a “cool thing”
His first foray into the US film industry was a role as newborn vampire Riley in the third instalment of the Twilight franchise, Eclipse.
“I was in Sydney doing American auditions for a while, just sending these DVDs off, not knowing whose desk they landed on, or if anyone even watched the audition, just sending them off into oblivion,” Samuel says.Read more at Yahoo! where Xavier discusses his other projects.
“Twilight was just another audition that came along, so I did it as best I could and sent it off and forgot about it. A month or two went by and then I heard it was down to me and four or five other guys, so I got myself on a plane to Vancouver, met the director and it all happened fairly quickly after that.
“It was incredible to be involved in a story of that magnitude that reaches that far and wide, and has a really passionate following.”
As for the fans, Samuel embraces the self-proclaimed Twihard fan base as a phenomenon in itself.
“Often people palm it off as craziness but it’s really a kind of cool thing when people are able to express their enthusiasm in that way.”

LA Times Interview With Kristen Stewart About The Breaking Dawn Pregnancy & Motherhood
The Los Angeles Times recently interviewed Kristen Stewart while promoting her new film Welcome To The Rileys. Kristen talked about playing a mother and the pregnancy in Breaking Dawn and wanting a cheeseburger.“My best friend just had a baby. She’s my age. So I’m a godmom now, which is … crazy,” said the 20-year-old during an interview to promote her upcoming film “Welcome to the Rileys.”[Source: LATimes via Kstewartfans]
Asked if the experience was helping her tap into her own maternal instincts, she replied: “It’s actually making me realize more that I have absolutely no idea. Like, I see that going on, and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’ ”
Though “Breaking Dawn,” the fourth installment in the “Twilight” franchise, doesn’t begin production for a few weeks, Stewart says she’s already been caught up with preparations for the film. She’s had a number of meetings with director Bill Condon and has even temporarily eliminated some favorites from her diet.
“I want a cheeseburger so badly, but, you know, I have to be a vampire in a few weeks,” she said over lunch at a restaurant in Topanga, where she settled for a veggie burger.
Ironically, she won’t even be able to show off her figure for the majority of “Breaking Dawn.”
“I’m incredibly pregnant in the first movie,” Stewart said, adding that she has spent the last couple of weeks trying on prosthetic bellies. “I’ve worn it. It’s … crazy. I’ve done fittings. It gets immense. It gets so massive at some point that it actually looks inhuman. Like it’s hurting her. There are striations of bruises.”

Lainey Gossip is reporting some juicy sex scene secrets from the Breaking Dawn script, with tons of deets from the much anticipated sex scenes between Bella and Edward.
Here is what she had to say -
if they stay true to the script, Edward and Carlisle have a birds and the bees talk that is supposed to be, I guess, the vampire advice equivalent to human boys and “baseball”. When does a boy think about baseball? Baseball is for bringing you back from the brink. Therefore Edward Cullen’s premature ejaculation = crushing his wife to death when he’s taking her virginity, preventable, according to his father, by thoughts of baseball.There are three of them in total in Part 1 right now. The first is in the water, and they get the business started with a super cringe line, as Bella walks naked into the ocean and looks at the moon and sighs that “it’s beautiful”, to which Edward replies, while looking at her and obviously not the moon…

After they show the initial hook up from beach to bedroom, we jump to the morning after as Edward is constipated about something and Bella is examining her body. Cut to her memories of the night before, the touching, and his kissing the length of her body, and the clenching, and her head thrown back, and his struggle to, um, think about baseball, and her resulting pleasure, and some furniture gets broken. It actually reads pretty erotic, and if they cut it the way it’s written, it should be even hotter to watch. Even I would enjoy watching it if they stay with that spirit.She keeps begging for it afterwards, and the two following love scenes are more of the same soft porny vibe which, to be honest, totally impressed me because having blue balled it for 3 straight movies, I thought they would pull that sh-t all over again. On paper though, they appear to be totally going for it.

Jack Huston aka Royce King II set for new film
Production on the film will begin this January in New York City. It is described in a press release as a “music-driven coming of age story set in 1960s suburbia.”More at RTTnews.

Summit’s ‘If I Stay’: Dakota Fanning in, Catherine Hardwicke out?

Dakota Fanning is in talks to star in Summit’s supernatural “If I Stay,” with Denise Di Novi producing.Originally set to be directed by Catherine Hardwicke, pic will now be helmed by Brazilian filmmaker Heitor Dhalia. Story revolves around a musician, played by Fanning and her boyfriend, a rising star in the indie rock world. Already faced with a choice between her art and her relationship, she is forced to make a harder choice between life and death after being involved in a fatal car accident.
Shauna Cross has written the adaptation based on Gayle Forman’s young adult novel.
“If I Stay” has been a high priority project for more than a year, with Summit nailing down rights before the book was published in April 2009.
Hardwicke was on board to helm after she directed the first “Twilight” film, but dropped out to direct “Red Riding Hood” for Warner Bros.
Fanning has been a favorite at Summit of late, appearing as Jane in the Twilight trilogy and in Summit’s “Push” with Chris Evans.

Nikki was asked about the Breaking Dawn scripts and the infamous baby birthing scene.“I’m really happy, really excited, I think the key to the success of the scripts are to stay true to the books. That’s the origin and what people love, it existed before we did, obviously it can’t be verbatim with a 800 page book, but they are making two movies out of it. Tinsel Korey, who plays the beloved “Emily” in The Twilight Saga movies New Moon, Eclipse and the upcoming Breaking Dawn, is using her newfound popularity to make a difference in the lives of children nationwide.
The first annual “1 Warm Kid” campaign is a coat drive spearheaded by partners P.S. from Aéropostale (the children’s line) and the nonprofit organization One Warm Coat. The campaign runs through October 31, 2010, and P.S. from Aéropostale will match every donated coat, up to 100,000.
