Behind The Scenes Photos Of Kristen Stewart In ‘On The Road’

Here are some behind the scenes photos of Kristen Stewart by John Allen Cassady (son of Neal Cassady) while filming On The Road last August.

John Allen Cassady was in England visiting his mother, Carolyn Cassady, when he got the call from Walter Salles, Director of “On The Road”. Walter wanted to know if John would be willing to interrupt his visit with Carolyn so he could meet and give a talk to the cast and crew of the movie while they were filming in Montreal. Walter promised a round trip flight from London to Montreal and that John would be back at his mum’s place in a few days. John only wanted to know one thing: “Will I get to meet Kristen Stewart?” He was assured he’d meet everyone so John boarded that silver bird.

They picked John up in a limo and delivered him to a five star hotel in Montreal. To his chagrin, Kristen wasn’t waiting there for him. They brought him to a party where he met everyone. He spoke to people he recognized and people he didn’t. John took photos with disposable cameras because he’d left his digital back in London. He took pictures of everyone and everything. The next day he’s having lunch with the producers and asks, “So when do I get to meet Kristen Stewart?” “John,” they said, “You met her last night. You flirted shamelessly for hours. You got photos of the two of you together.” John didn’t know what she looked like! “And I wasn’t even drinking,” he said.
Back in London John got all his pictures developed. One of them was lost by the photo company. It was the one with all the photos of John and Kristen Stewart. “Story of my life,” John said.

The character Dean Moriaty (played by Garrett Hedlund) is based on Neal Cassady (John’s father) in On The Road by Jack Kerouac in case you’re wondering.

Breaking Dawn Filming News: More Information On Filming In Brazil

We previously posted information on Breaking Dawn filming in Brazil.  Here’s more information from folks at FoForks and their source! 

The first is that Stephenie Meyer should come to Brazil, along with Rob and Kristen, to accompany the footage.
The second is that the information about Taylor coming to Brazil is 99.9% pure speculation, and Mackenzie Foy. Just Rob and Kristen, and Sebastião Lemos and Virgüez Carolina should participate as actors of the recordings on national soil, which makes more sense.
Paraty is even the HQ team and cast into two luxury hotels. It can happen to use one of the hotels as a location for scenes in the house of the Isle Esme. A security firm was hired to err … give full security to the crew and actors during the entire stay and armored cars have already been reserved.
Kaure, the maid of the Isle Esme and the first person to realize that Bella was pregnant, must be interpreted by Virgüez Carolina, Colombian naturalized Brazilian actress with several awards and nominations as best actress in several plays nationals.
There will be 4 and half days of filming.

Chaske Spencer Talks Training For Breaking Dawn

The lovely Chaske Spencer has done a brilliant interview with RaceBending.com Breaking Dawn id just one of the many things he talks about:

I’m gearing up to do Breaking Dawn in November. I think we’re shooting through March,” he explained. “It’s training for Breaking Dawn. In fact I just started going back to the gym. I’m going to the gym tomorrow and I know I’m going to be so sore tomorrow!”

He also talks about the causes he supports Be The Shift and his new production company. Chaske is supper busy at the moment as he’ll be doing four films back to back: Shouting Secrets, Breaking Dawn, Winter in Blood and The Block.

Amanda Bell picked up a really good scheduling conflict with the dates of filming in the interview:

Spencer’s statement about Breaking Dawn filming from November to March doesn’t exactly go with what Alex Meraz (“Paul”) indicated in an earlier interview. Meraz had explained that his portion of filming for Breaking Dawn would take place in Vancouver only. Since it’s been pretty readily understood that filming will take place in Baton Rouge first (and, well, it’s already November), it seems there is a bit of confusion. Certainly, “Sam” will not be hitting up any indoor sets of the “Cullen” house right? Cause that’s definitely what’s being built down there from the looks of things.

Robert Pattinson Talks Fame And Smaller Films

In a recent interview with OK! Magazine (British Version), Robert Pattinson expressed how much he would love to work on smaller independent films, his fears and the pressure he’s under to do a good job:

Robert Pattinson would love to concentrate on independent movies but worries if he did he could be “unemployed for ten years”.
The 24-year-old hunk is best known for playing vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie franchise, based on the best-selling novels of Stephenie Meyer.
His career choices so far have been predominantly mainstream, although the artistic soul is keen to venture into smaller, more obscure cinema. His only fear is if he does that he may struggle financially as there are fewer jobs in low-budget movies, and they are also less well paid.
“You can say I only do small movies, but then there is a chance you might not be employed for ten years,” he told the British edition of OK! magazine.
Robert sometimes feels under pressure when he shoots films as he knows people are expecting big things from him. The dreamy star admits being in the public eye can have its advantages though, as his fame has opened many doors to him.
“Now it feels a lot more pressured and there’s nothing but negative aspects of having pressure when you’re trying to act. It’s quite difficult in that situation…You want to take control of [fame] all the time and it’s impossible. It’s nice sometimes. You do get kind of paranoid, but it allows me to do the films I want to do,” he explained.

Breaking Dawn Filming News:Robert, Kristen And Taylor Headed To Brazil?

According to ego.global.com Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be in Rio, Brazil next week to shoot scenes for Breaking Dawn for a total of 6 days: Here is a translation from the lovely people over at FoForks:

According to the newspaper ‘O Globo’, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart And Taylor Lautner will arrive in Brazil next Friday, November 5th, to rehearsal the scenes of ‘Breaking Dawn’. The newspaper said that the actors would return later this month to shoot the scenes. The neighborhood LAPA will be used as location. According to another source, the historic city of Paraty will also be used as location and the filming will start 11/6 in Rio, 11/7 and 11/8 in Paraty.

Anne Rice Gives Her Opinion On Twilight

Anne Rice recently did an interview with nj.com One of the things she discusses is twilight:

Q. It is complicated, which is why I have such mixed feelings about “Twilight.” It’s so sanitized.
A. It’s based on a really silly premise: that immortals would go to high school. It’s a failure of imagination, but at the same time, that silly premise has provided Stephenie Meyer with huge success. It’s almost like a stroke of genius to put vampires in high school. They just graduate over and over again.
Q. I hated high school.
A. Doesn’t everyone? The idea that if you are immortal you would go to high school instead of Katmandu or Paris or Venice, it’s the vampire dumbed down for kids. But it’s worked. It’s successful. It makes kids really happy.
Q. It seems those books are sanitized whereas in the rest of pop culture, you’ll see very young girls dressed in an overtly sexual manner. The vampires are wholesome compared with the rest of what’s out there.
A. I don’t think vampires are very wholesome. They’re fantasy characters, and we have to keep reminding ourselves of this. They don’t exist. I get e-mails from people who are outraged that I watch “True Blood.” They say, “How can you condone the evil of ‘True Blood.’” I say, “Are you kidding? Vampires aren’t real. Keep that in mind.”

Judi Shekoni’s Halloween Dilemna Solved Thanks to Twilight

New Twilight Saga Vampire Judi Shekoni doesn’t have to worry about halloween costume ideas anymore.  In a recent interview with WENN, she dishes on her likes, dislikes and costume troubles for Halloween.

My costumes have never been elaborate; I basically have a white dress and I’ll buy a pair of angel wings and I’m an angel. One time I wore reasonable-sized underwear and my angel wings and went as Tyra Banks – I was impressed that people got it.
Even this year, as of now, I don’t have an outfit and I don’t know what I’m gonna wear. There’s three parties that I’ve been invited to and I have no idea what I’m gonna wear. I’ve got a day off on Saturday, so I’m gonna go hunting.

So what’s up for this year’s Halloween getup?

Because of Twilight, I feel like I wanna go the other way and so I think I’ll probably be an angel or a fairy; something light and frothy – so I can save my dark side for the movie.

But now Judi feels she won’t need to worry about stressing over costumes anymore.

At least I can go out at Halloween next year, as Zafrina.
The Brit is hoping her character’s costume becomes a Halloween staple for Twilight fans: “Please God and the universe, make my character have an impact that occurs. That would be great.”

Breaking Dawn Filming News: Isle Esme Will Be Filmed In Brazil This November!

The president of the Rio Film Commission Sérgio Sá Leitão has confirmed that Breaking Dawn will be filming there in November. The news was posted by the president on his twitter account. Here’s what he had to say (google translate version):

Breaking Dawn will be shot in Rio in November. With full support of the Rio Film Commission. For security reasons I can not say when and where.

The Mayor and Governor Eduardo Paes Cabral directly engaged to enable the filming of Dawn in the River Plate Gol!

An estimated investment of U.S. $2 million into the economy of Rio seems all right to come and Dawn team is filmed here.
