Jamie Campbell Bower’s new TV series ‘Camelot’ will be air on Latin American tv screens according to UnderCoverMagazine:

Premium TV signal, Moviecity announces the signing of the display of the series “Camelot ” in all Latin American countries where the Premium package is present.

With this agreement, the series of ten episodes starring renowned actors Joseph Fiennes, Eva Green, Claire Forlani and Jamie Campbell Bowen will reach more than 6 million viewers in the region and will also be shown in HD.

” We are confident that this new series will become a great success in Latin America. Since acquiring Moviecity continue betting on quality content and “Camelot” not only features a cast worthy of a film production, but also has a great story told many times, but never in the way and from the point of view raised by this series , “said Richard Rohrbach, Vice Moviecity Content.

“Camelot” is the new commitment of U.S. broadcaster Starz after the success of “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” and “Spartacus: Gods Of The Arena” both in Latin America series issued exclusively by Moviecity.  This miniseries made with an investment of U.S. $ 50,000,000 by the GK-TV producer, the company of famous Hollywood producer Graham King, will world premiere at Cannes, as part of the opening ceremony of MIPTV, with the presence of its stars.

Robert Pattinson On The Short List Of Actors For New Film Series ‘Akira’

It’s been announced that Robert Pattinson is among a short list of actors who has received the script for Six-Volume graphic novel ‘Akira’:

EXCLUSIVE: The script for the Warner Bros/Legendary Pictures live action adaptation of anime artist Katsuhiro Otomo’s 6-volume graphic novelAkira has been sent to a short list of actors. The picture is finally taking shape for an August start, following the delivery of a rewrite by Steve Kloves that has director Albert Hughes and the studio brass excited. The story takes place in the rebuilt New Manhattan where a leader of a biker gang saves his friend from a medical experiment. There are two major roles, and I’m told that for Tetsuo, Robert Pattinson, Andrew Garfield and James McAvoy have been given the new script. For the role of Kaneda, the script has been given to Garrett Hedlund, Michael Fassbender, Chris Pine, Justin Timberlake and Joaquin Phoenix. The two leads are expected to come from that group of actors.
Andrew Lazar is producing with Appian Way’s Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran. Akira has been one of Warner Bros’ high priority projects since the studio with Legendary Pictures acquired it for a 7-figure sum 2 years ago from manga publisher Kodansha. The intention has been to make 2 films, each covering 3 books in the series. Akira was first adapted for the screen in 1988.

Robert Pattinson Confirms Vamp Caesarean In Breaking Dawn

Robert Pattinson talks to Total Film about the scene where his character (Edward) performs a caesarean with his teeth on wife, Bella (Kristen Stewart).

Twihards, rejoice. Robert Pattinson tells Total Film that the scene where his character performs a caesarean with his teeth on wife, Bella (Kristen Stewart), has been filmed for the final part of the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn.

He’s currently juggling filming with promotion duties on his new non-vamp flick Water For Elephants, and chatted to TF while in LA.
“Yeah, I’ve done it,” RPattz laughed, “I’ve chewed it, spat it out!”
Though he’s not allowed to give much more away (joking with Ryan Seacrest recently that he gets ‘beaten’ for revealing details), Pattinson promises that Breaking Dawn will be “very different to the other films – more like a horror film.”
“Just some of the source material makes it inevitably more different. It’s completely nuts, the book.”

Gossip Cop: Robert Pattinson Will Not be in ‘Daredevil’

It was rumored that Robert Pattinson was being considered for the title role in the upcoming Daredevil reboot. Robert himself denied these rumors in his interview with MTV this week. Here is what Gossip Cop is reporting:

With the imminent arrival of Water for Elephants in theaters, there will be a spike inRobert Pattinson rumors (not that they everreally go away), and one that’s gained steam this week claims the actor could be up for the title role in an upcoming Daredevil reboot.
Ben Affleck starred as the blind superhero (and alter ego Matt Murdock) in a 2003 movie.
So what prompted these new rumors of Pattinson possibly taking over the part?
Well, his The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade was just announced as the director for the newDaredevil project. That development led many sites to speculate that Slade plans to recruit his former leading man as the hero.
It turns out, however, that there’s no truth to the buzz about Pattinson donning the tight red costume when the Daredevil character is reborn.

The reason for the double standard?
“It’s the two archetypes you see in Twilight,” Dergarabedian suggests. In one corner is brooding vampire Edward and, in the other, burly werewolf Jacob. “It’s probably an attempt to make sure women see these films.”
Not a bad guess. Yes, the target audience of such geek-squad fare remains men 18 to 25, who can almost always be counted on to show up for at least the opening weekend of a comic-book adventure. But as the cost for special-effects and possible 3-D treatment escalates, it isn’t a bad idea to reach beyond the core crowd and add some eye candy for the ladies as well.
Consider that the first three romantic Gothic thrillers based on the hugely popular book series have collected nearly $1.8 billion total in worldwide ticket sales by targeting female ticket buyers.
Meanwhile, barely known actors Robert Pattinson, 24, and Taylor Lautner, 19, turned into overnight sensations. Besides, it is normal for the definition of a movie hunk to go in cycles, says Jeanine Basinger, head of film studies at Wesleyan University.

They say that the city separates it but I don’t believe it and I don’t feel good about mixing all my trash. So I do it on my own. There’s a man who comes to my alley and collects cans and stuff so I give it to him,” she told us at the launch party for the fashion collection UK Style by French Connection. Reed was on a break from back-to-back shooting on the two “Breaking Dawn” movies that will close the “Twilight” saga. “We’re almost done, like four more weeks,” she said, not quite sure how she’ll react when it’s over, since in the past there was always another installment to look forward to.”

Kristen is ‘An Intelligent Technician’ Says Jodie Foster (HR)

Kristen Stewart’s co-star Jodie Foster talks about working with her.

Her Panic Room helmer, David Fincher, raves about Foster, and in particular her work with young co-star Kristen Stewart, noting: “She doesn’t get a lot of credit for it, but half the time I couldn’t even get in the room because it was so crowded with cameras and all this stuff. She is one of the great directors of children.”

But the truth is, after years of effort, Foster’s own directorial efforts have yielded a scant three features. “I also had a big career as an actress, I had my production company, and I had two kids — and I make really personal movies,” she says. “The combination of those things conspired to keep me away from directing.”

Actor Hal Holbrook talks about his first impression of his “Water for Elephants” co-start Robert Pattinson

Hal Holbrook who plays the “older ” Jacob Jankowski  in the upcoming movie Water for Elephants recently spoke to SignOnSanDiego about meeting his co star Robert Pattinson for the first time.

“I was astonished when I met him, because I met him with a couple friends of mine and the minute I looked at him, I said to him, ‘My God, you look like me as a young man,’” Holbrook said. “Everyone who was with me said, ‘Yeah, he really does.’ ”

Robert Pattinson Teaming Up With David Slade For Daredevil Role?

So rumour has it that Robert Pattinson is teaming up with David Slade for a role in his new movie Daredevil!

Apparently, there’s some “talk” that the Twilight actor is being looked at to reteam with David Slade on Daredevil, while new details on the tone and story have also emerged…
“The West Hollywood Resnorter” over at Moviehole has a very interesting piece up about David Slade’s planned Daredevil movie (said to be a continuation, rather than a reboot) but two things in particular caught my eye.. The first, is the revelation that the movie will be similar in tone to Batman Begins, while the mention of a bad guy trying to destroy Daredevil certaintly fits in with the rumor that they’re thinking of basing it on Frank Miller’s “Born Again” series.
Slade’s pitch, I’m told, is said to be a “close cousin” of some of the other superhero movies out there in the market place (I believe he’s referring to films like “Thor” and “Captain America” which are bright, boisterous blockbuster types that skip on the gloom and go straight to the boom!) – which shouldn’t surprise anyone. “It’s a bit Batman Begins. The bad guy will learn who Daredevil really is and tries to destroy him – but not via the usual methods.”
Second, was the mention of there being “talk” about Twilight’s Robert Pattinson being linked to the role. Seeing as he’s worked with Slade before and is rather popular with a certain demographic, it’s not hard to believe that he’d be considered (and there is something of a resemblence) but as we’re talking about the guy who directed 30 Days Of Night and a character like Matt Murdock, I don’t see it happenning!
And yes, with David Slade given the job, there’s “some kind of talk” about Robert Pattinson – who, with the “Twilight” series winding up, is going to be looking for a new well-paying gig – playing the part of Matt Murdock – – -which, I have to say, I don’t dislike the idea of.
