Peter Facinelli Talks ‘Breaking Dawn’ With Fans On Energizer FB Live Chat!

Breaking Dawn peter Peter Facinelli Talks Breaking Dawn With Fans On Energizer FB Live Chat! bill condonPeter Facinelli (aka Carlisle Cullen) answered fan questions today on Energizer Bunny Facebook page.  Peter is teaming up with the Energizer Bunny to help preserve America’s national parks for future generations!
Peter answered some fan questions about portraying Carlisle on working on Breaking Dawn!  He talked about the dance off with the Cullens and the Volturi!!  LOL!!
Comment From Calista
What is the best part of being part of the twilight saga??
Peter Facinelli:
The fans are really great. They’ve been really supportive and I appreciate all of them.

Comment From Kimberly
how are you and carlisle similar and different?
Peter Facinelli:
I like to think I have his passion. Carlisle is the head of a family. I have children so I can relate. I don’t have blond hair and he’s an older soul than I am. I also don’t wear cardigan sweaters in real life.

Comment From Onix What will you miss most now that you are finishing the Twilight Saga?
Peter Facinelli:
I don’t know, I’m not sure because it hasn’t sunk in that’s it’s over yet. Even though filming is pretty much over there are still two more films coming out. What I won’t miss is shooting in the rain and mud!

Energizer Bunny: Question from Kristen from Facebook – How do you deal with all the pressure from the fans and the paparazzi? You do an amazing job as Carlisle in the Twilight saga.
Peter Facinelli:
It’s really about making a connection with fans and I’m happy to stop and give autographs. It’s hard though because there are times we can’t stop. One time it was pouring rain and a girl was calling to us and we just had to keep going. That was the one time we didn’t stop and the paparazzi ran with it calling us jerks!

Question from Amanda from Facebook – Hi Peter! Absolutely LOVE your work! Huge fan of Twilight. Anywho, I know this may be a loaded question but who is/was your favorite person to work with on Twilight? Keep up the good work with everything, movies, shows, and causes all included.
Peter Facinelli:
I actually like the scenes where we were all together. The energy in the room was great and it felt complete. I only had individual scenes with Kristen, Rob and Elizabeth. I really enjoyed them all.

Comment From Stefanie
What is one of the funniest things that has happened on set of one of the Twilight movies?
Peter Facinelli:
We were shooting a big stand-off sequence between the Volturi’s and the Cullen’s and it was a crazy experience because we had 100 people going through hair and makeup in the morning. One of the actors thought it would be funny if we had a dance off. We didn’t tell the director and when they yelled action we broke out in dance. It could end up on the DVD extras.

Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz’ ‘A Warrior’s Heart’ to Screen in Cannes

Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene Star in Teen Romance Screening at Market
Universal City, CA – (April 19, 2011) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today that A WARRIOR’S HEART has completed post-production. With final touches from Lit Post and Anarchy Post, the film is finally complete and will be screened in Cannes this May.
“It’s been a vigorous and exciting journey the last several months finishing this film,” commented Producer Steven Istock. “Our goal was to complete the movie in time for Cannes, which we achieved. The film really stands out. It’s a great family picture with an amazing cast.”
A Family Productions and California Pictures production, directed by Mike Sears and produced by Marc Spizzirri and Steven Istock, the cast includes Kellan Lutz (Twilight, Breaking Dawn), Ashley Greene (Breaking Dawn, LOL), Chord Overstreet (“Glee”), Golden Globe Nominee Adam Beach (Windtalkers, Flags of our Fathers), and Gabrielle Anwar (Scent of a Woman, “Burn Notice”).
The story follows high school lacrosse star Conor Sullivan who overcomes his father’s death through a new love interest and a renewed passion for the sport.

Peter Facinelli lands ‘Idol’ eliminee for ‘Loosies’ soundtrack

Peter Facinelli tells MTV that he is “stoked” to have booked American Idol eliminee (not-to-mention Nikki Reed’s boyfriend) Paul McDonald for the soundtrack of his film Loosies.
We caught up with Facinelli on Monday (April 18) to get the scoop on his exciting collaboration.
“I was telling Nikki [Reed, McDonald's girlfriend and Facinelli's 'Twilight' co-star] I was looking for music for my movie, and she said, ‘You should look through Paul’s stuff,’ ” Facinelli recalled. “She was a big fan of his, I heard, and I thought it really worked for my movie, so I played some tracks over it, where we had temp tracks, and it just all worked. So I reached out to Paul, I sent him the movie, and he enjoyed it a lot, and he said he wanted to be a part of it, which I was stoked.”
Facinelli added that McDonald’s original music is really inspirational and fit well with what he was doing on “Loosies.”
“He has a band, and his band stuff is very different then what he was doing on ‘American Idol,’ ” Facinelli said. “I heard him on ‘American Idol,’ and I thought he was great, but when I heard the band, it’s very distinct and has a voice of its own, and I like the originality of it,” he explained. “So we’ll probably use most of the music from the two albums he has out now on iTunes,” which were recorded under the band names the Grand Magnolias and High Tide Blues.

Nikki Reed’s Boyfriend Paul Mcdonald Has Never Watched a “Twilight” Movie

Looks like Nikki Reed’s new boyfriend, American idol contestant Paul Mcdonald won’t be choosing between Team Edward and Team Jacob anytime soon.  In an exclusive interview with Eonline, Paul admits he has never watched any of the Twilight films.
Here’s an excerpt from Eonline’s exclusive :
Choosing between Edward or Jacob  isn’t a pressing issue in Paul McDonald’s life. In fact the American Idol castoff has never even heard of the Twilight films’ famous vampire and werewolf.
“I haven’t seen any of the Twilights yet,” the crooning cutie recently admitted. Surprising, but certainly nothing to be ashamed of—except that McDonald’s  new girlfriend Nikki Reed stars in the massive franchise.
So did McDonald put his foot in his talented mouth?
Not really. Instead, the Idol eliminee called his new squeeze “ridiculously talented” and insisted he will soon be seeing all of her vampire flicks.
“I support her whatever she’s doing,” said a smiling McDonald. ”Now I have to get Twilight and watch them all.”

New York Post: On-Screen Chemistry in ‘Water for Elephants’ Was Wild and Fierce

There’s a ton of buzz about Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson’s chemistry in their new film, “Water for Elephants,” out Friday. But if you’re under the impression this is “The Notebook” under the Big Top, think again: For both actors, the sizzle is between them and Tai the elephant.
“You know how there are just some people that people are attracted to? She’s like that with people and other elephants,” says Kari Johnson, co-trainer of Tai, the pachyderm who plays the movie’s eponymous star. And she had some big shoes to fill, even for an elephant: Rosie, the character in Sara Gruen’s Depression-era novel upon which the movie is based, is a scene-stealer with a nose for mischief who likes to swipe hats, drain lemonade tanks and indulge in the occasional bucket of gin and ginger ale.
Robert Pattinson formed a special bond with Tai the elephant, who plays Rosie in the film based on the best-selling novel.

Robert Pattinson talks about “His Secret” to the Philippine Daily Inquirer

LOS ANGELES—“It’s a secret,” said Robert Pattinson, breaking into laughter. He was just asked to talk some more about the script he is supposedly writing, based on a novel by Lillian Hellmann, as disclosed in a Vanity Fair cover story on the actor by Nancy Jo Sales.
Robert claimed that it was “one of those times when you say in an interview that this is off the record, when you are just really excited about something. She’ll say, ‘Yeah, of course.’”
The “secret” was disclosed in the cover piece but Robert clarified that his screenplay project is not based on one of Lillian’s novels. “It’s just something Lillian Hellman wrote.” Laughing again, he said, “I can’t really say what it is.”
The “Twilight” series star balked at giving more details.
But other than that, he was his usual, easygoing self, quick to be the first one to laugh at himself. In our latest encounter at a meeting room in the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, he played with a water bottle as he fielded questions.
“I used to write a lot more when I wasn’t getting acting jobs,” he revealed. Chuckling, he said, “You dream about writing parts for yourself.”
He added: “The more scripts you read and the more movies you see get made … you think, what’s the point in just producing something when you feel you can write something? I used to write all the time when I was younger … I will probably write under a pseudonym, because otherwise everyone will just tear me apart immediately.”

Rob Pattinson Interview with “The Boston Globe”

LOS ANGELES — The pert blonde in the headset peeks into the airless basement conference room. “Rob will be here in five minutes,’’ she says, flashing a smile.
The blonde in the headset returns. “Rob will be here in one minute.’’
It’s clear now this is no mere estimation. Watches have been synchronized. Spreadsheets distributed. Clipboards clipped.
For two days, Pattinson has been holed up at this luxury beachfront hotel, talking to swarms of reporters, bloggers, and television crews about his latest film, the Depression-era drama “Water for Elephants’’ that opens Friday. Based on the romantic bestseller by Sara Gruen, it’s the story of a young veterinary student (played by Pattinson) who, after losing his parents in a tragic accident, jumps a circus train and falls in with the crew, including the show’s brutal and ambitious owner and his beautiful wife.
When the conference room door finally swings open and the superstar lopes in — shuttled apparently through some sort of underground utility tunnel — he is flanked by his manager and a massive bodyguard. The blonde waits nearby, not smiling now, but looking at her phone, her schedule, listening to the voice on the headset.
In the windowless hallway beyond, a cluster of studio types mill about, texting, talking about what’s next, who’s next. Off to one side is another man, eyes like black ice, who looks as if he would happily sink a steel throwing star in your left temple if you made one wrong move.
The main attraction has arrived.

New Scans and Translation of Rob Pattinson in Austria’s “M” Magazine

Here is a translation and scan of M magazines interview with Rob that took place on 2/18/11.
M: As the first question I would like to ask you about your co-star Christoph Waltz. What was it like to work with the Austrian Oscar winner who plays the circus ringmaster in the film?

RP: Great. He’s a real role model for me, not only as an actor, but also on a human level. Christoph was always very helpful, just like Reese Witherspoon. In the beginning I wasn’t sure how to act around them, as they are both Oscar winners. I was worried about them being aloof. Luckily that was not the case. Christoph and Reese created a great atmosphere and working with them a real pleasure. I learnt a lot from both of them.
M: Reese Witherspoon plays Marlena Rosenbluth with whom you have a forbidden love affair in Water for Elephants.
RP: Love often tastes of something forbidden. In my opinion the difference between love in a movie or in real life is that love is used purposely in movies to increase the drama and the suspense.
M: How exciting was it to work with the Elephants?

RP: Working with the animals was my main motivation to take the role. At my first meeting with the director Francis Lawrence at the elephant enclosure, I didn’t even know for which film he wanted to hire me. Francis wanted to see how I interacted with the animals and how the elephant would react to me. I was allowed to ride on the elephant, she threw balls to me with her trunk and blew air through her trunk at me. I was totally amazed and I accepted the role at the end of the day, even if there was the danger that it would be the worst film ever.
M: What will you be working on next?
RP: Cosmopolis – a very cool script. It’s directed by David Cronenberg and my costars will be Juliette Binoche and Paul Giamatti. I’m sure it will be great. After that I would like to write a script myself and produce films.
M: What can you tell us about the last Twilight film Breaking Dawn?
RP: I am not allowed to tell you a lot, which is a new experience for me, but I can say so much: Breaking Dawn will be fantastic.

MSNBC: Can Pattinson put a stake through Edward with ‘Water for Elephants’?

Here is what MSNBC is saying about Rob’s ability to become known for a role other than Edward Cullen!
Pattinson’s turns as Edward Cullen in the film adaptations of the Stephenie Meyer “Twilight” series of novels has made him wealthy (a reported $27.5 million in 2010 alone) and famous. Now comes the hard part: Establishing himself as a respected thespian beyond his signature role as the toothy blood-sipper. Next he stars opposite Reese Witherspoon in the Depression-era circus drama “Water for Elephants,” which opens April 22.
Will audiences bite?
“I believe that the role of Edward is so inherently ridiculous that I refuse to dismiss Pattinson as an actor based on it,” explained Mary Pols, movie critic for Time Magazine. “Pattinson has a better chance than most. He’s got name recognition to get in to see directors, he hasn’t disgraced himself in these ‘Twilight movies’ — even if the hearts of middle-aged film critics do not beat faster for him — and he has the marketing power of a fan base that will keep giving him chances.”
Pattinson has established a virulent fan base around the world. Vanessa Corn is a part of it. She runs the site, “strictlyrobpattinson.com,” which focuses on the actor’s work beyond “Twilight” and Edward Cullen.
“I am a major fan of Rob’s,” said Corn, a wife and mom who lives in Chicago, works a day job as an administrator and has been operating the site for just over a year. “I definitely don’t think that ‘Twilight’ showed his acting strengths, but I am positive we haven’t seen his best.
“[T]’Water for Elephants seems very promising in that regard, especially after seeing reactions from critics who — up until now — have been more than happy to pan him and write him off as simply ‘that vampire guy.’ I think his best so far has been ‘Little Ashes,’ where he really turned himself into Salvador Dali and showed people the other side of him, the very private side.”

New Still of Taylor Lautner and Denzel Whitaker from ‘Abduction’

Rob’s Interview with Criativa Magazine (Brazil)

New Robert Pattinson’s full translated interview with Criativa Magazine!
Robert is no fool. Wherever you are, the English actor, 24 years old invests on the role of romantic hero. It’s like that with Jacob Jankowski, the protagonist of Francis Lawrence’s film, based on the book by the Canadian Sara Gruen. In this drama, which takes place at a circus in the times of the Great Depression Era (1929-1939), Robert works with two Oscar winners actors Reese Witherspoon (best actress, Walk The Line) and Christoph Waltz (supporting actor for Inglorious Basterds). In this interview, the actor talks about his first love, the hatred that he has for paparazzi and a certain discomfort caused by the hysteria of fans.
How was working with so many wild animals? Did your conception of the circus changed after Water for Elephants, with regard to the way animals are treated?
I know many circus have a bad reputation because of this, but none of the animals we work with were circus animals, they were all actors. I know it must be very difficult because of the amount of injuries that the animals suffer. To teach horses tricks that they needed to know, it took months and months. If one got hurt, there was no substitute. Manage a circus is a precarious thing.
Was there a moment when you were scared of animals?
Once, with the zebras. They are impossible to tame. If they are tied, the simply pull the rope until they’re free and if they can’t get away, they start kicking. One ran towards me. It was part of a scene, and I got out of the way. Then everyone thought I was a pussy for running.
Francis Lawrence, the film’s director, said it was difficult to find a 23-24 year old man who was not too young for the role. And he said that you was already man – thoughtful, intelligent, caring, strong and confident. What makes a man a man?
I don’t know. I think that if you feel comfortable with who you are, then you’re good. I don’t know whether anyone ever gets to be a man.
Do you feel like an adult?
More or less and no way. It’s weird when people do a movie. It seems that you’re trapped in time bubbles. I feel that way, especially with the fame thing. You stop meeting new people. I never know anyone. You have the same conversations all the time, so you never change the same way that most people grow up. You know, you hear the various perspectives that people have about things, but you go through the same kind of banal things every time you talks with them.
Like this…
In the end, this ends up affecting your mind. You actually don’t know how to have a conversation with anyone about anything. If the person is not talking about you, you’re like, “Huh?” (Laughs).
Where do you go when you want to have a bit of normal life?
When you’re part of a movie, not only as an actor, you force yourself to attend meetings. People are forced to treat you like a true coach, then that’s what I do. If you’re just an actor, it’s very funny because people think they need to hide everything from you, all the time. It’s like, “Oh, he can’t be bothered with anything,” and this is bizarre. You’re like a little bird. Have security around all the time.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe, completely.

Booboo Stewart Interview with Teen.com

Click on the image below to see a clip of Booboo in The Haunting Hour!
Teen.com interviewed Booboo Stewart about his role in R.L Stine’s (yep the Goosebumps person) The Haunting Hour:
Teen.com: Tell us a little bit about your episode of The Haunting Hour. What’s the premise?
Booboo: It’s all about the legend – I play Kai. And it’s about a legend where a boy sees a shark…and there’s been sightings of this shark in this pool and he doesn’t know why. We find out that it’s actually him. It was really fun to do, I had a great time. I swam so much! (laughs) I never swam so much in my life. My hands were so pruny afterward but it was so much fun.
Teen.com: Did you have to train extra hard to do all that swimming?
Booboo: I already knew how to swim. You know what’s a funny thing, actually, I didn’t know how to dive. I had never done that before. So the scuba divers that were there with the shark, they taught me how to dive for one scene and it was cool.
Teen.com: Let’s talk that shirtless scene. Were you used to filming without your shirt on from Twilight?
Booboo: I was kind of used to it from Twilight but mostly from doing all the photo shoots – not even from Twilight
