Taylor Plans to Avoid Shirtless Roles!

We've all seen plenty of shirtless Taylor shots from the upcoming New Moon movie, but it looks like there may be a limit on how many photos we'll see! It seems Taylor Lautner plans to keep his shirt on during future acting gigs!
Here's what the Twilight hunk had to say when asked about his newfound muscles and heart-throb status!
"My motivation was the movie and the fans. But I don't want to become known as just a body...If I had to choose, I would never take my shirt off again in a movie, but I guess that's not very realistic. I certainly won't be asking to do it, though."

“Wow, am I glad we were able to shoot there,” Weitz said with a laugh in a recent phone interview with MTV News. “We went to about 12 different hilltop towns in Tuscany, which was both delightful and exhausting, because it had to be done relatively quickly. Montepulciano had the most symmetrical main square that I could find, so that was the winner for that reason.”

Rob[ert Pattinson] has more security guards hanging around him! [Laughs] Other than that, not really. We really enjoy each other’s company, and we’ve been working so much on this movie that we really haven’t had as much time to hang out with each other. We’re putting in these long hours and then just heading home. Usually we just try to catch dinner with each other then get back up the next morning and do it all over again.

In New Moon, the stunts on the screen are all Daniel, and mostly Robert, for that matter. Anxious to perform his own stunts, Daniel found out quickly that the stunt coordinator for New Moon was the same one he’d worked with in AVPR. “I hadn’t gotten the script yet, so I called him up. He was familiar with my abilities and said for sure I could do the fight scene.”
The burning question posed by fans who adore both Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen: Which did you enjoy more- throwing around Wolverine or Edward Cullen?
No question about that one. “I definitely enjoyed throwing around Edward,” Daniel booms. “Wolverine was one toss.”

LimeLife: We heard that there were open casting calls for Eclipse. How exactly did you score the part of Leah Clearwater?
Julia Jones: The casting director I’ve had a relationship with for a number of years. She actually just called us up and I went in and auditioned for the director David Slade and for her, and came back about a week later and read for some people from Summit and David again and some of the producers. And then I waited for about a month before I heard anything, and you’re right, in that time they were doing huge casting calls and going up to Canada. I think they accepted tapes from anybody so really anyone in the world could put themselves on tape and potentially be seen by the casting people.

Kellan Lutz is on the cover of Doggie Aficionado Magazine. In the magazine he talks about his dog Kola whom he adopted.
Here is what he had to say:
On adopting Kola: “I have always been a huge advocate for saving animals, so I found it fitting, when I was ready for something new in my life, to look around the local animal shelters. . . . She looked me in the eyes, bowed and slowly and softly licked my open hand. As I pet this beautiful dog I realized how soft her multi-colored coat was, and felt her desperation for a real home. Our connection was so strong that it was like fate bringing us together. I knew she was the one. That was three years ago.”
On what he has learned from her: “Kola has taught me to be a man. I hope I have given her some deserved happiness.”

How adorable is he and Kola! It’s just so cute!! Kola is almost as cute as my dog Blake!!!!

2. Instead of dyeing her hair blonde, Nikki  will be wearing a wig!
3. Kellan hated wearing his gold vamp contacts in "They took so long to put in." he spills.
4. The cast loved having game nights together!
5. The biggest prankster on set was Bronson, who plays wolf Jared!
6. Besides Taylor, Rob also had a personal trainer!
7. In Jacob and Bella's break-up scene Taylor and Kristen had  to film in pouring rain and it was only 35 degrees out!
8. Bro-mance alert! Co-stars Michael Welch (Mike) and Justin Chon (Eric)
9. The wolf pack had to spend an hour each day in makeup to get darker skin & enhanced abs!!
10. 1,500 extras were used in Itlay for one scene! Wow!
11. Taylor did most of his stunts- including all the dirt bike riding!
12. The book has a scene that includes a movie called Crosshairs. But in the flick, the film is called Face Punch.
13. Jackson would play guitar for everyone during downtime!
14. The gang hung out in everyone during downtime!
15. The day Taylor got to take off his wig for good, the whole crew applauded for him and he joked that he'd "burn it!" Lol

VF.com: How did you get the part of Wolf Pack leader, Sam Uley?
Chaske Spencer: It was one of the weirdest auditions I’ve done. We put it on tape, and usually the process is: you meet the casting director, get a callback, then you meet the producer and director. This just went straight from tape. I auditioned for all of the parts of the Wolf Pack; they called me back and told me what part I had. Also, I didn’t really know who [the character] was because I didn’t know much about Twilight. Then I figured it out and said, “Wow, that’s a really good part.” It’s amazing. I’ve never gotten a part like that before.
Once you got the part, did you go back and read the books?
Yeah, I started with New Moon. Then I started dabbling in Eclipse because there’s a lot of back-story to my character. I really tried to relate to those characters, do my job … and then go to the gym.

“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” cast members will take part in the special with Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed kicking off the TV program from one of the most feared haunted houses in North America. Fans will salivate as Ashley Greene dishes on some of the rumors that have been swarming for months. Additionally, during the Halloween special, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will introduce an exclusive, sneak-peek clip from Summit Entertainment’s highly-anticipated film “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” which arrives in theaters on November 20, 2009.
“Ulalume” is the title of a poem by 19th century poet Edgar Allen Poe which possesses a rhythmic sound and repetition that gives the ballad a musical quality, inspiring the festival name.
Beginning Monday, October 26, 2009, fans can head to www.Halloween.MTV.com for a first look at some of the killer performances from the “Ulalume” festival, behind-the-scenes clips, and photos before the special airs on October 30, 2009.

For each movie, Pattinson says he’s tried to reinvent Edward a little bit. The first Twilight film had him falling in love with the human Bella (Stewart); New Moon has him banishing himself from Bella’s life, thereby creating a love triangle with the werewolf Jacob (Lautner); and Eclipse creates a tenuous co-existence between Edward and Jacob. “He’s definitely quite different” in Eclipse, Pattinson says of Edward. “In some ways, he’s more relaxed being around humans, and at the same time, he’s competing a lot more with Jacob so he has a lot more petty emotions rather than just thinking in these absolutes like he did in the first two. I’m just trying to keep it interesting for myself as well.”

1. TINY TEES: “Jacob [Taylor Lautner] was supposed to have grown taller and really filled out, so we tailored all of the T-shirts he wore to make it seem like he was busting out of them,” says Monaghan. For added effect, Lautner wore lifts in his shoes to exaggerate the height difference between Jacob and Bella.
2. TRAINING REGIMEN: “I hit the gym, got myself a personal trainer and started eating a lot,” Lautner told us about becoming the bigger, buffer Jacob. “I had to be eating a minimum of 4,000 calories a day, so my trainer was always bringing me snacks.” He also did strength-training exercises in his downtime on set.

For example, I think Lykke Li’s track will be perfect after the happenings in Volterra. “As if it wasn’t enough to have the biggest movie of the year hitting theaters next month, New Moon star, Jackson Rathbone, is adding a music festival to his to do list. Rathbone and some of his fellow cast members will be hosting the NewCon Festival in Nashville, Tennessee from November 6th through the 8th.
Jackson’s band, 100 Monkeys, will be headlining the festival. The weekend includes Twilight and New Moon inspired art competitions as well as poetry and fan fiction contests. 100 Monkeys will also be part of an open jam session on Saturday, November 7th. Anyone attending the festival can bring their instrument to jam with the band for two hours.
The band will pick one lucky fan to join them on stage Saturday night during their concert at The Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville.
Award winning artist, Kelly Garrett Rathbone, (Jackson’s sister) will be one of the judges at the art competition and a panelist during the Q&A sessions over the weekend. She currently has pieces on exhibit in galleries nationwide.
NewCon’s goal is to inspire people to get more involved in the arts. The winners of the writing and art contests will get a private meet & greet with all attending cast members and have their winning pieces signed by them as well. “We wanted to do something different that inspires people to get off their couch and create something,” said Rathbone.
100 Monkeys will also host a ‘design your own t-shirt’ contest during the festival. The winning shirt will actually get printed as a limited edition and sold on the band’s website, with all of the money going to the Spencer Bell Legacy Project. Spencer was a dear friend of Jackson and his band mates who lost his battle with adrenal cancer in 2006.

available. The Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center is the host hotel for the festival.

I love the first pic of Bella’s image in the wolf eye. I think that is my favorite image I have seen for New Moon so far. It’s just so cool. Laurent’s hair looks funny like it’s flying all over the place in the second pic and Victoria is just gorgeous.
