Michael Sheen At Celebrity Soccer Game – Galaxy’s ‘Brit Night’
Michael Sheen shows that he knows how to kick a ball around the field during last nights Galaxy’s “Brit Night”. This was a celebrity soccer game, which was played at Home Depot Center.
The Sheen Machine was joined by fellow British celebs acclaimed chef Gordon Ramsey (HELL’s KITCHEN) Vinnie Jones (LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS), Lennie James (SNATCH) will team up with former pros Warren Barton (England, Newcastle & Fox Soccer Channel host) Barry Venison (former player for Newcastle, Liverpool, England), to take on celebrities “from the rest of the world” including Chile’s Santiago Cabrera (HEROES), the former U.S. World Cup stars’ Cobi Jones & Alexi Lalas (former LA Galaxy players), Venezuelan star Fernando Carillo and Jamaica’s Rohan Marley (Former Pro Footballer).

Kellan Lutz To Star Oppostite Samuel L. Jackson In Deathgames
The Hollywood Reporter ‘Heat Vision’ blog is stating that Kellan Lutz and Samuel L. Jackson are in negotiations to star in Deathgames:

Jonah Loop, a visual effects supervisor on such pics as “Collateral” and “A Perfect Getaway,” is making his directorial debut with the film, which begins shooting next month in Louisiana. MPCA’s Brad Krevoy and Mike Callaghan are producing with Mark Williams.
The story centers on a young man (Lutz) who is kidnapped and forced into the savage world of a modern gladiator arena, where men fight to the death for entertainment of the online masses. Jackson orchestrates the games, overseeing them from his computer lair with the help of twin ladies who see to his every desire.
“Deathgames” is the first project to come out of MPCA’s $50 million film fund, and the $10 million production is out to other actors. The company is in post on “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2″ and was behind last year’s Kevin Bacon HBO drama “Taking Chance.”
Jackson, repped by ICM and Anonymous Content, plays Nick Fury in “Iron Man 2,” which opens May 7, then will appear opposite Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in the action comedy “The Other Guys,” set for an Aug. 6 bow.
Lutz, who appears in the upcoming remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” next week begins shooting the Dermot Mulroney-directed romantic comedy “Keep It Together” opposite Mandy Moore. “Together” also is shooting in Louisiana, and the Innovative-repped actor will segue from that straight to “Deathsport.” In June, Lutz moves to “Immortals,” Relativity’s Greek myth fantasy in which he plays Poseidon.
Loop, repped by ICM, also is producing “Arena” at Summit.
Alex Meraz At Supernova In Melbourne Australia
Alex Meraz attended Supernova in Melbourne Australia where he shared some details with audience during his first Q&A:
- Alex had not read the books or seen Twilight before he auditioned because he was worried he would love them, and then be disappointed if he didn’t get the role.
- Once cast as Paul, he went to Chinatown and purchased a dodgy version of Twilight and watched that.
- His first time meeting Kristen he asked her to sign it which she thought was funny!
- One of the funniest moments on set was when they were all playing football. Bronson, being the joker he is, did this massive ‘mankick’ and his boot, covered in mud flew off and hit Tyler in the face who had just come out of his trailer after 3 hours of make up prep. Needles to say the make-up lady was not impressed!
- One if his most satisfying roles was playing a gay man in Two Spirits, One Journey because it was a really gritty character to play and he enjoys roles like that.
- His next role involves going to Bosnia and having parts of his head shaved as it is a guy who was raised in a basement, and slits people throats with scissors, really out there kind of bad ass characters like that.
- In regards to diet, he had to really slim down for a role recently, but he didn’t tell any of his family he was doing it. So they thought he was really affected by the ‘celebrity’ of New Moon. He would tell them he gets mobbed everywhere, until eventually he admitted he was dropping all the weight for a role. He is now finding it difficult to put weight back on and bulk back up again.
- He always had a passion for art, but when he was a kid his family couldn’t really afford to buy him supplies. So he would cut off chunks of his hair and tape it to a stick to use as a paintbrush and melt down crayons for paint! His mom came home to find him like that and sort of had to support him in it so she saved up to buy him supplies.
- He basically followed his brothers, one liked art, another liked Karate (which Alex went on to get a black belt in) and another liked breakdancing. Hence Alex having such a varied background because he mimicked them where he could.
- Sorry Aussies, but he isn’t a fan of vegemite. Someone gave it to him once telling him it was like nutella or nesquick.
- His ‘lucky undies’ are red speedos, he wore them to the New Moon audition!
- He enjoyed holding a Koala but was quite scared doing so. He was more scared of the Emus though. He ended up throwing the food at it rather than letting it eat out of his hand because he was scared it would peck him!!!
- He was asked if a Werewolf can imprint on a Cougar (as there are a few of us Cougar girls who would like to know)…He said sure!
- He was asked seeing as Werewolves are hairy if they would like hairy women – he said yeah sure! (Must have been hairy women in the crowd too!)
Alex finished with a magic trick. He tried to fold our plastic money up but ended up using paper. He folded it up into a type of three sided square. He placed it on a girl’s shoulder and asked her to say “wing wing” five times. She did so and he picked up the paper and held it to his ear and said “hello?” It was seriously hilarious, but doesn’t translate to words very well!

Taylor Lautner’s New Leading Lady In ‘Abduction’
Taylor Lautner will be starring opposite Lily Collins daughter of the singer ‘Phil Collins’ in the upcoming thriller ‘Abduction’.
Yahoo Movie reports:
21-year-old Lily made her silver screen debut last year as the daughter of Bullock’s character in “The Blind Side.” Prior to that, Lily’s work found her in two episodes of “90210″ and as a host for Nickelodeon’s “Kids Pick the President” in 2008.In “Abduction,” Collins will play the girlfriend who aids Lautner’s search for his real parents after discovering his baby picture on a missing persons website.[Source: YahooMovies.
Lautner and Collins will begin work on the dramatic thriller once reshoots for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” wrap. (Even though the film hits theaters June 30, Twi-hards need not fret — last-minute reshoots are a normal part of the filmmaking process, and a rep from Summit assures fans none of the film’s vital scenes need any work.)
Before she turned to acting, the rock-star daughter penned fashion columns for Seventeen and Teen Vogue. In 2008 she blogged about coming home to find the cast of “Twilight” doing a photo shoot for InStyle magazine in her backyard. Fate may have been teasing the two future costars: Lautner wasn’t present at that shoot, but Collins did meet Robert Pattinson and Stewart while they posed for pics outside her house.

The actress starts in a shocking new rock biopic, carving out a niche of respect after years of teenybobber fare.
The courtyard looks like a wedding cake. Take a pickaxe to all this swept marble and you’d hit yellow sponge made from eggs, milk, and margarine. Perfect triangles of evergreen leap from topiary tubs, fountains make chlorinated areas into shallow pools emptied of even a single tossed penny. And there in the distance is our misplaced plastic bride, truant from the cake top, a few layers down, slouched against a cream-coloured column in a sunlit archway, exhaling Camel smoke. She is looking at the ground and looking everywhere at the same time.
“I knew it was going to be you,” she says cryptically, raising her head and stamping out the cigarette.
To be Kristen Stewart takes antennae. Offset from the scant groupings of hotel guests and khaki-painted walkabouts slowly roaming the manicured groups, Stewart is hiding badly. Even if she were not that girl from Twilight, she’d be that girl over there from who-knows-were, in the black jeans and a gray t-shirt, smoking and glowering and trying very hard not to look anyone in the eyes. With her invisible province breached by my approaching footsteps, her guard eases only slightly after an introduction.
Seated now near a new tree planted in freshly combed dirt, a nervous waiter takes drink orders and scurries off, all of his body language mutely bellowing “I know who you are!” Stewart is talking about Sean Penn. She knows him. She appeared in his film Into the Wild a few years ago and she just bumped into him out in front of the building. She had said, “What’s up?
He half-smirked and said, “Haiti.” They tried to linger, to smoke and talk, but in a matter of minutes, shutters were clicking, some paparazzi had gathered, and the conversation was abruptly over.
Now, freshly agitated, Stewart’s entire aspect is animated by nuisance. She winces with pain, clutching at her neck. “I must’ve slept on it wrong. Every time I look over my shoulder, it kills.” (Regardless, she’ll persist to peer behind her every so often with an audible start, turning back around with a grimace.) Every-thing has conspired and aligned here perfectly this afternoon for….
