'Twilight' star Rachelle Lefevre joins 'Untitled Medical Drama' at CBS

After a short stint on ABC's The Deep End, it appears that Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre is sticking with television for a while.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Lefevre has signed on for a CBS medical drama, currently Untitled Medical Drama.

The project revolves around a team of medical professionals who travel the U.S. helping those in desperate need of assistance.

In The Deep End, Lefevre's character was named "Katie," and in Untitled Medical Drama, she'll be "Katy." Only, this time, the part seems a little more befitting of Lefevre's off-camera persona.
Notoriously, Lefevre has been a bona fide champion of humanitarian aide, and being an on-screen part of a team of heroes seems about right for her.
Reuters notes that Lefevre's return to CBS will be a bit of a homecoming, as it is the network on which she appeared in Swingtown.
