"Things get pared down,” Peter Facinelli said, but “what’s great is, what’s left is the essence of it, even though it’s pared down you get it, and you get the vampire speed and animalistic quality that we have.”
Ellwood also asked Reed about one of the "theatrical" moments from her backstory portion of the film, and she revealed that doing the backstory was key to her enjoyment of filming Eclipse.
"I had a blast filming the whole flashback sequence because I really had a chance to work one-on-one with David, and I needed that . . . It was a lot of fun," Nikki Reed said.
The three also revealed that there were quite a lot of injuries on the set, including (one you already knew) Jackson Rathbone's concussion, Bryce Dallas Howard's dislocated wrist, and both Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser's constant need for ice packs.
