While it isn't Meyer's first time on the list (she was ranked 29th for 2009), it is Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's debut in the feature.
Stephenie Meyer, who ranked 59th this year, earned a reported $40 million this year, and Forbes expects that the recent release of The Short Second LIfe of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella will help to propel Meyer back to the top of the list for next year.
Robert Pattinson debuted at 50th on the list "with $17 million in earnings" for the year, and Kristen Stewart earned the 66th spot with "$12 million between June 2009 and June 2010."
Forbes also noted that "Pattinson ranks seventh for Web hits, and he appeared on 28 magazine covers." Last year, when Pattinson didn't make the list, some speculated that the reason was his lack of one of two factors (1) recognizability and (2) earned income. No doubt, the suggestion was that the latter was missing, and apparently that isn't a problem for Pattinson (or Stewart) anymore. Forbes predicts that with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Parts I & II on the way, things won't changed too much over the next couple of years . . . except, they indicated, for the probable future inclusion of Taylor Lautner on the list.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are among the celebrities covering Forbes' "Celebrity 100" edition.
