On Monday, the full track list for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1‘s Soundtrack will be unveiled, and only Bruno Mars has been
10. Linkin Park – Linkin Park was one of the bands which Stephenie Meyer cited as a big inspiration for her in writing the Twilight Saga. They appeared on the first soundtrack, for Twilight, but their “Leave Out all the Rest” was not an original song composed specifically for the Saga. Since the style of Twilight Saga soundtracks ever since the first has been to include songs completely unique to the albums, having a new Linkin Park contribution would be great.Read the top 4 bands/musicians fan want to hear on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack HERE
9. Bobby Long and/or Marcus Foster – Bobby Long and Marcus Foster both had a hand in the first soundtrack, having been the writers of Robert Pattinson’s “Let Me Sign,” but they have been steadilyearning their place in the music industry outside of the Saga. Foster recently released his “I Was Broken” music video with Kristen Stewart featured in it, though, so he’s clearly not opposed to keeping the Twilight roots intact. Perhaps a book-ended contribution from either or both would be appropriate for Breaking Dawn, even if it is just written lyrics again.
8. The Black Keys – “Chop and Change” was a big success for the Eclipse soundtrack, and The Black Keys have been enjoying immense success over the past couple of years. Many, many responders said they hope to see The Black Keys show up again on the Breaking Dawn album.
7. Muse - It’s almost a given, at this point, that Twilight fans will want to see Muse on the soundtrack. This was the number two most popular suggestion after the query, and it’s hardly any wonder why. Muse’s been a part of each Twilight album to-date, and the landscape of the Twilight soundtracks just wouldn’t be the same without their involvement. Twilight wouldn’t be the same without them, in fact.
6. Blue October – There’s been a lot of back-and-forth between Justin Furstenfeld and Twilight. He and Stephenie Meyer have a great relationship – following his inclusion in her Breaking Dawn press tour in 2008 – but things just haven’t panned out for Blue October and the Saga‘s soundtracks yet. Many fans hope that Breaking Dawn will be the one that brings Blue October into the Twilight Saga musican manifold, once and for all.
5. 100 Monkeys – Jackson Rathbone and his 100 Monkeys have become a staple of the Twilight series, even though they’ve yet to have a song on any soundtrack. The band has thrived despite intense filming schedules and location changes, and they’ve just completed a big tour across the United States. Their second album, “Liquid Zoo,” just made waves, and they’ve probably got something worth including on the Breaking Dawn album tucked away.
