Could Kellan be the next Conan?

Kellan Lutz talked with E! about auditioning to be the next Conan the Barbarian. He is still among the contenders up for the role.
To our younger readers who have not seen the original Conan movie and the sequel starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, they were made in 1982 and 1984 and yes I own both of them, I liked the movies and think Kellan would make a sexy barbarian!!!
Here is an excerpt:
“It’s something that I’ve been actively going after because I’d die to put the weight back on,” he told us at last night’s Division-E party at Lisa Kline in L.A. “I’m tired of playing young; I want to be the big guy that I was.”
Just how close is he to winning the role?
“I’ve been auditioning,” Kellan, 24, said. “They’re finalizing so they’re trying to figure out what happens next. I’ve been waiting for a while, doing screen tests. There are just so many cooks in the kitchen. If it happens, it happens…Regardless, it’s not gonna be the new Arnold Schwarzenegger type of movie, no one’s going to try and play that role. I think they’re going younger, a different type of story. I’m just excited, because the script is great.“

New “The Runaways” Still

Julia and Anna included in Glamour Faces to watch in 2010

Julia Jones and Anna Kendrick were included in Glamour’s faces to watch in 2010.
Below is what they had to say.
See the entire list here.
1148

Anna Kendrick
Age: 24
This Maine-born actress had the difficult job of appearing alongside George Clooney in Up In The Air – and bagged a Golden Globe nomination in the process. She’s also a benefactor in the Twilight stardom storm, playing bratty schoolgirl Jessica in the saga.

Julia Jones
Age: 28
Star Quality: A virtual unknown until now, Julia is set for the big time after beating thousands of hopefuls to get the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater in the third Twilight film, Eclipse. She’ll be acting alongside the likes of Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, not that we’re jealous or anything.

Taylor and Robert included in MTV’s list of male Pop Week MVP’s

]

MTV is doing there Pop Week and Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson were included in their list of male pop week MVP’s.
See the entire list here.
Below is what they said about Taylor and Robert.
Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson
Ages: 17 and 23
Hail From: Grand Rapids, Michigan, and London
In 2009: The guys teamed up once again on the big screen for “Twilight Saga: New Moon,” and their collective hotness and feud over Bella Swan broke box-office records. They kept their names in the gossip pages with constant speculation about their dating lives and had everyone asking the fundamental question: Team Edward or Team Jacob?

Why They’ll Be Huge in 2010: Lautner can be seen next in “Valentine’s Day” alongside former flame Taylor Swift, and he’s all set to tackle the lead role in the “Max Steel” movie. Meanwhile, Pattinson will be seen in the romance “Remember Me.” In June, the two heartthrobs will once again have girls swooning in “Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
Choice Quote: “I think Bella’s little bit of treachery in the third one will be … I think it’s going to be a good scene,” Pattinson said of “Eclipse,” with Lautner adding, “My favorite scene in the entire series is the tent scene, where the three of us are together. And it’s gonna be really fun. There’s a lot of comedy in ‘Eclipse.’ ”

Kristen included in MTV’s list of female Pop Week MVP’s

MTV is doing there Pop Week and Kristen Stewart was included in their list of female pop week MVP’s.
See the entire list here.
Below is what they said about Kristen.

Kristen Stewart
Age: 19
Hails From: Los Angeles
In 2009: She ruled the box office with “New Moon” and dominated gossip blogs, thanks to all the rumors about her relationship with co-star Robert Pattinson. She had everyone talking about her look and her personal life and she insisted that fans, and the media, should focus more on her work than her persona.

Why She’ll Be Huge in 2010: As if releasing “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” in June isn’t enough to have everyone excited, she’s in two more buzzed-about flicks: She’ll reteam with Dakota Fanning for the rock biopic “The Runaways,” and she’s going to get edgier playing a stripper in “Welcome to the Rileys.”
Choice Quote: “I’m, like, vibrating,” Stewart said about her turn as the legendary Joan Jett in “The Runaways.” “I’m just so excited about that movie.”

Producer Wyck Godfrey talks Breaking Dawn

Producer Wyck Godfrey talks Breaking Dawn with The LA Times.
You don’t want to miss a thing.
Read it all here.
Eclipse isn’t even here yet and I am dying for Breaking Dawn!!!
Here is an excerpt:

Wyck Godfrey, the producer of all the films in the “Twilight” saga, admits that the creative team still doesn’t know how they’ll handle the character in the “Breaking Dawn” movie, but said that the plan is absolutely for the production to go forward — as either one or two installments — with an eye toward beginning to shoot in Vancouver this fall. All three stars are signed for “Breaking Dawn,” he said, meaning that Stewart and Pattinson will be dealing with the joys and woes of interspecies parenting and newly minted heartthrob Taylor Lautner will return as often-shirtless shape-shifter Jacob Black.
At the moment, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who’s penned all the “Twilight” movies, is working on the “Breaking Dawn” script(s). “It’s a work in process,” Godfrey said in an interview Friday. “The issue [of whether there will be one or two movies] is not going to be resolved until we get the full treatment and see whether it’s organic. If it’s not organic, I don’t think it will be done, and if it is, it will be. It really has to do with how much level of detail from the books there is, with all of these new vampires that appear in ‘Breaking Dawn,’ the whole section about Jacob… It’s a very long single movie if it does become a single movie.”

Michael interviews Ashley

Michael Sheen interviewed Ashley Greene for Interview Magazine. It’s a cute and funny interview.
Read the entire interview here.
Here is an excerpt:
MICHAEL SHEEN: Okay. This is my first question. This is the only really serious one, and then the rest are quite funny. The first one is: As an elf, raised by humans, have you found a lot of discrimination against the fairy folk here in Hollywood?
ASHLEY GREENE: Well, I think they’re just jealous that I sparkle and speak elfin and have cute little pointy ears.
SHEEN: It’s true.
GREENE: So, yes, there’s discrimination. But I really don’t care.
SHEEN: You do get described as pixie-like a lot. In my younger days, I used to get described as sort of elf-like. I think it’s probably a lot easier to deal with that if you’re a pretty girl, rather than a sort of average-looking boy.
GREENE: I’m sorry about your adolescence.

Kellan on Cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine

Kellan Lutz, as well as Paul Wesley from The Vampire Diaries, grace the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine for their February Fun Fearless Male Issue.
They both look hot!!!
Source: MTV
Below is what they had to say about Kellan and a pic from Cosmopolitan.

Kellan Lutz
You probably know Kellan Lutz from his role as Robert Pattinson’s hot brother in the Twilight series or, ahem, shirtless paparazzi shots that show off his a-ma-zing body. Those ripped pecs aren’t going anywhere, but don’t expect him to be Emmett Cullen forever. This laid-back 24-year-old is busy with new projects, like the freaky Nightmare on Elm Street remake and The Warrior, while plotting to become America’s next big action hero. Those chiseled abs splashed across the big screen? Staff field trip to the theater!

Twitter Contest winner’s call with Chris Weitz

The Twitter contest winner who won a phone call from Chris Weitz posted her conversation with him.
You can read it all here.
Here is an excerpt:
3.) How did you decide to shoot the scene where the months are passing by, considering the books only name the months that pass?
A.) We originally thought we could use a blank screen with names of the months passing but felt that it was best to portray depression visually. CGI was used and the windows were covered by green screen. We used a robotic camera for revolvement to mimic the original hand camera as much as possible. I’m not sure if you noticed but with each revolvement the room changes, there are less pictures of her friends and the room gets more sparse.
4.) I really enjoyed the added scene with Victoria swimming towards Bella. (The book hints to the orange colour the water was reflecting, in a later revelation by Bella.) How did this scene come to be?
A.) Well, the orange coloured water wouldn’t have looked right in the scene so we put her in the water visibly. That scene was difficult because we wanted to film her swimming towards Bella but it had to be at a distance. If it wasn’t at a distance fans would wonder why Victoria didn’t just get her in that short scene, but at the same time it had to feel threatening. That was all shot in Vancouver in a swimming pool, we had the actors underwater with four or five frog men with air tubes for security purposes. We also had green screens in the water surrounding the actors so we could CGI in all the particals in the water. Theres actually a program to add in all of the floating debris and colour differences in the water after filming. Kristen had a cold at the time and was scared of drowning. We had to force her to stay in the water [laughter] But Rob was more comfortable in the water, hes had to shoot underwater scenes in the past. [Harry Potter]
