Below is a little backstory he made up for Demetri :
1. He made up a whole backstory for his Twilight character, Demetri. Here goes: “Demetri lived near Mt. Vesuvius before it erupted–when it did, it killed his family, but he was so fast, he was able to outrun the lava. He ended up in the foothills, where he was enslaved. But he kept running away from his masters, and ended up in Rome, where he became a gladiator. He had no fighting skills, instead, he just ran away from his opponents. Eventually he was blind-sided by an arrow and he went down. Then Volturi leader Aro came in, recognized his skills, and turned him into a vampire–he’s been serving the vampire guard ever since.” Now, does that have the makings of the next Stephenie Meyer novel or what?

Twilight' Invades the Airwaves

Its 'Twlight's' world; we're all just living in it.

You can't go to the cineplex these days without bumping into a cardboard cutout of the Quileute tribal wolves or having Edward Cullen's pale, sparkling face and brooding eyes stare down at you from a poster. Maybe, you should just stay in tonight and watch some TV.

Well if you're one of those few remaining people who are trying to avoid the 'Twilight' saga, you just lost another option.

PopSugar has put together a collection of all the 'Twilight' references made across television. Some are fitting, like the teen-centric 'Gossip Girl' and 'Hannah Montana.' But who knew it was its own category on 'Jeopardy'? (Yes, that means someone could study 'Twilight' to win money.)

Sorry, 'Twilight' boycotters, you're running out of luck. Tonight, try curling up with a good book -- oh wait a minute...

It's best to embrace the simple fact that 'Twilight' is everywhere. 'Eclipse' opens in theaters June 30 ... you might as well get in line now.

It's not every day a Twilight vampire stops by the office--and we were psyched to hang out with one of the Volturi! Read on for five fun facts we learned about British actor (New Moon was his first role!) Charlie Bewley.

1. He made up a whole backstory for his Twilight character, Demetri. Here goes: "Demetri lived near Mt. 2. He has "everything envy". "It's why I became an actor," he told us. "I can be anything!" Two things he's green-eyed over right now: New York (he lives in L.A., but plans to move to the city at the end of the year) and whoever's auditioning for the next installment of Pirates of the Caribbean.

3. His drink of choice is rum. For the moment, Captain Morgans Silver Spiced run. "On the rocks?" we asked. Bewley's reply: "If there are rocks around."

4. He actually tries to make his hair look like that. It's an artistic creation, complete with tusks (the little pieces in front of his ears) and horns (they're somewhere near his neck, apparently). So how exactly does he sculpt his locks to architectural perfection? "I blow dry it a bit, then use this crap pot of wax I got for $1.95--sport wax."

5. His favorite movie is Fight Club. "It has everything a movie needs to be great," he explained. His runners-up: Shawshank Redemption and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Eclipse stars Christian Serratos and Booboo Stewart show off their stunning smiles at Star Magazine’s Young Hollywood Issue launch party held at Voyeur in West Hollywood on Wednesday evening (March 31).
Christian, 19, just returned from a surprise visit at Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach earlier last week with Alex Meraz and Daniel Cudmore. Over 300 service members and family members won the opportunity to have their photos taken with the actors on a stage inside the exchange. Read the entire story at HamptonRoads.com.

Who Would Win in a Fight? ‘Jasper’ or ‘Sokka’?

In a recent interview with Eclipse vampire Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale), he was asked by MTV about his character from The Last Airbender (Sokka) if he would win in a fight with his Twilight Saga character Jasper -

However, when pressed to admit who’s tougher, Sokka or Jasper, Rathbone declined to even consider the two characters squaring off — but he did admit to feeling the pressure to pick a favorite.
“It’s actually kind of funny, because my friends were ripping me about that last night,” he said. “Now that I have these action figures, these Jasper action figures, and they’re coming out with the Sokka action figures for ‘Airbender,’ they’re saying they’re going to buy both of them and fight them.”
“Who would win? I don’t know,” he said. “I kind of want to stay out of that one. I’m not really a betting man. … I’ll be Switzerland.”

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation announced today a slate of celebrity presenters for the upcoming 31st College Television Awards. This year, more than 600 students from 156 schools across 38 states entered the competition. Of this group, 24 projects across 11 categories will be honored at the gala ceremony hosted, for the 4th consecutive year, by Tom Bergeron (“Dancing with the Stars”) on April 10th at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood.

Stephenie Meyer's 'The Host' movie making progress

'The Host' by Stephenie Meyer - Hatchette Books

There's a chance that The Host (a film based on Stephenie Meyer's sci-fi novel of the same name) could be filming next year, according to Deadline Hollywood.
"Steve Schwartz tells me that Andrew Niccol is working on the third draft of a screenplay which he’s writing in close consultation with the author."
It seems that, much like with the Twilight series scripts, Stephenie Meyer is heavily involved in the pre-production process for The Host.
The Host, readers know, is a pretty long adult science fiction book that has a great deal of mystery and lore as well as a love story element incorporated into it. Bringing the story to film will be no picnic, but with all of the experience Stephenie Meyer has in helping her books become movies, there's no doubt she'll see it gets done properly.
Deadline also reports that there's no studio attached to the project just yet but that producers don't foresee any trouble in that arena - mainly thanks to the popularity of the book's author.
Interestingly enough, the route that was taken to choose writer Andrew Niccol was elucidated even further by the article as well.

Schwartz said the search went like this: “We asked Stephenie what her favorite science fiction movies were, and one of them was Gattaca,” he sald. “We spent time with Andrew, listened to his vision, introduced Andrew to Stephenie and she responded. There is very good chemistry in this group. Stephenie is a very smart collaborator, and she had an intuitive strong hunch he would be the right guy. Based on the script we’ve seen, we think she was right. We’re thinking this will be shot in early 2011."

Despite the pending production start date, there has been no word as to who will be cast for the film.

Ten ideas for 'Twilight' April Fool's Day headlines

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' - Summit Ent.

If you're seeing a story or situation in the Twilight world that seems just a little (or, in some cases, completely) off, that's because it's once again April Fool's Day.
Around the web world various spoof stories about the series are coming to the surface, in some cases even confusing fans into believing their preposterous claims.
Everything from the idea of Robert Pattinson directing The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn to a story about the film being rated "R" and absent Taylor Lautner (fat chance on both accounts, of course) has found a way into the Twilight news world.
So, here are a few ideas for Twilight April Fool's Day headlines that you might get a kick out of (and if you actually see these anywhere, please assume they're false).

"Taylor Lautner is hired as a surrogate for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's baby!"

This is a simple jump-off from Kaleb Nation ("Twilight Guy")'s epic video about the Kristen Stewart pregnancy "rumors" that made their way to the web last year.

"New 'Twilight' spin-off series by Stephenie Meyer: 'Charlie and the Cheesecake Factory'"

Potential description: "After Breaking Dawn, Bella, Edward, and the Cullen family are forced to leave Forks, Washington to pursue a new start in southeast Asia. Charlie Swan, "famous ladies man," is once again alone in the small, rainy town. A fan of sweets and lover of food, Swan turns to consumption to overcome his never-ending boredom from the sudden drop in crime rates for the small town. Only, when he realizes that Forks does not have the right delicatessen to suit his every need, he begins to see the potential that the Cheesecake Factory would have in his small town. Chief Swan becomes Chef Swan in this savory comedy novella, and it hits book stores on February 1, 2019."

"Director David Slade throws final 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' film reel into crematorium"

Potential storyline: "Director David Slade, always the oddball activity enthusiast, has thrown the only remaining copy of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's film reel into a crematorium in a fit of anger at film studio Summit Entertainment's call for yet another edit to the one hundred and twenty minute film. The studio called for Slade to add more "Emmett" to the film after a very public outcry by Twilight fans for the character to take a position of prominence in the movie. Slade, via his public Twitter page, shouted (which, in Twitter lingo, means ALL CAPS) "AHEUWAH" and "SHOOT ME" before telling the world he'd gotten rid of the last bits of film for the project. Slade later revealed that he'll only involve himself with movies about rabid, steak-eating puppies from now on. Film studio Summit Entertainment is filing suit against the director for his actions, and they plan to re-shoot the picture this fall back-to-back-to-back with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, parts one and two. The release dates for all three films will fall within five months of one another."

"'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' film location announced, look out world, it's the moon"

Potential article snippet: "For months, nearly everyone in the Twilight news industry believed that the struggle over selection of a filming location for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn was in deciding whether to film in Portland or Vancouver. Little did we know, the real competitors in interest were Earth and the moon. And the moon won. Stephenie Meyer spoke out about the decision to use terraform technology to create the perfect setting for Breaking Dawn's sequences. 'It's out of this world, really. I knew we were going to make it big, but it's beyond my wildest dreams that this worked out. It really adds authenticity to the story.' Kristen Stewart, the actress portraying 'Bella Swan' in the series, has referred to the decision as 'crazy, man.' Tippett revealed that it was easier to add CGI elements to the character's expression and features (as necessitated by the book's description of her) without the usual feature definition found in female children. Studio representatives lauded the decision, saying 'It's no big deal to just put a wig on the child. Pretty much every other actor in the film wears one at this point.'"

"'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' Volturi really will be naked for the film"

Potential article snippet: "Jamie Campbell Bower ("Caius") was quickly silenced last year for his apparent quip about the Volturi's nudity in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. 'It wasn't supposed to get out back then that this was being considered,' New Moon director Chris Weitz explained. 'That was a surprise for viewers of Eclipse, and I left the decision up to David Slade.' The decision to make a portion of the Volturi nude in sequences at the end of the film was made by Dakota Fanning. 'I'm really coming into my own thanks to The Runaways. "'Twilight' film studio announces 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Edition' of 'New Moon' DVD'

Potential article snippet: "Today, Hot Topic announced their exclusive new version of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on DVD, the 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Edition.' The version includes all of the special features found on the two-disc special edition DVD as well as two extra minutes of deleted scenes not found anywhere else. The first five hundred patrons to buy the 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Edition' at one of the participating Hot Topic retailers near to them will receive a lock of Robert Pattinson's hair with a certificate of authenticity. Potential snippet: "Finally, a director for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has been announced, and, after intense debate and contract negotiations, Paul Reubens (b.k.a. 'Pee Wee Herman') has gotten the bid. Insiders attribute the decision to the drastic cost reduction the selection will bring. A source close to the studio revealed that both Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart are negotiating removal from the project based on the decision."

Do you think The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Remember Me star Robert Pattinson is one of this world's most influential people? Apparently, TIME Magazine can see the possibility that you do because they've included him in their "2010 TIME 100 Poll."
The poll takes user "votes for the leaders, artists, innovators and icons who you think merit spots on this year's list of the 100 most influential people in the world" and includes others from the entertainment industry (such as recent Oscar winner Jeff Bridges, Avatar director James Cameron, and Beyonce) on the voting list as well.
About Robert Pattinson, TIME says, "The Twilight saga has been a boon for the British heartthrob, who plays sparkly, sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the hit franchise. The third installment, Eclipse, comes out this summer, ensuring that Pattinson's face — however pale — will be omnipresent."
According to current poll results, Robert Pattinson has received around 1450 votes, putting him in second place in the competition thus far.

Robert Pattinson's 'Remember Me' DVD date announced, available for pre-order

'Remember Me' - Summit Ent.

The DVD release date for Robert Pattinson's Remember Me has been revealed to be June 22nd of this year!
The film was released to U.S. theaters on March 12th, 2010, and it has brought in a little over $17.6 million domestically (around $23 million worldwide).
Remember Me is not Robert Pattinson's first lead role (not by a long-shot), as he has portrayed the main character in films like How To Be, Little Ashes, and The Haunted Airman before. It is, however, the first non-Twilight film he's done since becoming a globally household name.
Pattinson is currently filming Bel Ami, his second such film, in Europe.
Remember Me also stars Emilie de Ravin, Chris Cooper, Pierce Brosnan, and Ruby Jerins, and it is available for pre-ordering on DVD right here.

Alex Meraz At The Clash Of The Titans Premiere

Alex Meraz was looking HOT at the Clash of the Titans premiere last night.

Alex attended the premiere with his wife his stunning Mrs Meraz (I love you for not hating me for all I say about your husband…I do try and keep it clean *adjusts halo* honest!)

With the wonders of technology I have done a little manip of me and Alex and Mrs M and Alex, just to see if he had taken me to the premiere what I would have looked like on his arm….
