Rachelle Lefevre Set To Go ‘Off The Map’

According to EW.com New Moon Vampire Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria I) will be in a new ABC Show backed by Grey’s Anatomy creator Shondra Rhimes called Off The Map -

Rachelle Lefevre apparently isn’t going to rest until she plays a doctor on TV. The ex-Twilight actress, who had a role in John Wells’ ill-fated CBS medical drama pilot, is joining the cast of ABC’s upcoming Shonda Rhimes-backed physicians-in-paradise soap Off the Map.Lefevre’s character, Eva, is a free-spirited missionary doc who is well versed in international medicine and global health. She worked at the clinic before, but left due to her troubled romantic history with its founder, Ben (Martin Henderson).

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' star Bryce Dallas Howard opens up about postpartum depression

 Bryce Dallas Howard ("Victoria" in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) wrote a piece in support of Brooke Shields' book "Down Came the Rain" and explained how she herself suffered from a bit of postpartum depression when Theo (her son) came into the world.
"My husband began shooting a television series, and late evenings when he returned home, I would meet him at the door, shaking with fury, 'I’ve hit the wall and gone through it, and I feel I am expected to go further,'" she recounted.
"Although challenges lay ahead, little by little I got better" before "one day I was sitting in my home with my best friend and my sister, and out of nowhere I got this sudden feeling of summer. When I told them they looked at me curiously and chuckled a little. I searched for a better way to describe my feelings, 'I dunno, I just got this feeling… like everything is going to be okay.' My depression was lifting," she went on.

Fansite version of 'Bel Ami' announced, celebrates Robert Pattinson's forthcoming film adaptation

Throughout the winter and early spring, Robert Pattinson was busy in Budapest, Hungary filming Bel Ami, a book-to-screen adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's novel.
In the film, Robert Pattinson portrays "Georges Duroy," a social ladder climber who uses powerful women to get his way. Pattinson's co-stars in the film include Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, and Kristen Scott-Thomas, and the film's release date is tentatively to be set sometime in 2011.
To celebrate Pattinson's work on this film, his oldest fansite, Pattinson Online, has worked with Fandemonium Publishing to create a fansite edition/version of Bel Ami, the novel, ladened with images of Robert Pattinson on the set of the film.
Here's a bit of information about the book, sent by Pattinson Online's administration team:

Michael Sheen appears at Comic-Con for 'Tron: Legacy'

Yesterday, Michael Sheen joined Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, and Jeff Bridges at Comic-Con in San Diego, California to promote their film Tron: Legacy.
The four participated in a question and answer panel about the movie, and Sheen (who portrays "Aro" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and, hopefully, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2) helped his castmates usher in a brand new official Comic-Con teaser video for the picture as well.
In Tron: Legacy, Sheen portrays "Castor," and he has quite a different look for the picture than he does for his usual films (whitish hair, make-up, etc.). Tron: Legacy's release date is scheduled for December 17th, 2010.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' costumes revealed, how to get the look

There are at least two pieces of "Bella's" costumes in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse that fans can get their hands on now to capture the Eclipse "Bella" look: her sunglasses and one of her jackets.
The sunglasses Kristen Stewart wore in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's Florida scene were explained by costume director Tish Monaghan to Entertainment Weekly. Her "retro shades [for the scene] were actually just a pair of lower-priced knock-offs that Kristen Stewart picked out of 100 different options collected by props master Grant Swain." EW goes on to list three similar products that fan can get their hands on to grab her look for the scene.
For the mountain scene, Kristen Stewart wore an Amazone 2 jacket, and Lolestore has just reached out to announce that the item is available on their site in black and chai and that "for a limited time you can go online to pre-order a Amazone 2 hoodie in Redwood - just like the one Bella wore - that will be available in early September." Lizzy Pattinson finds 'Twilight' family connection an opportunity rather than a burden

Fans have to wonder what the experience of having an incredibly popular family member would be like, particularly when it's the sister of Robert Pattinson at hand . . . and she's got her own entertainment career.
For Lizzy Pattinson, one of two sisters to Robert Pattinson, it seems the connection is an opportunity and not a burden.
At least, that's according to a recent interview article done by WestSide reporter Christina Farr.
"Twilight is giving me opportunities to make new fans," she explained.
No doubt, it's a good thing she has this perspective on the situation because she is surely gaining at least some extra attention thanks to her brother's popularity. The fact that it brings in a new fanbase can only help her already promising career - as we've seen with friends Bobby Long, Sam Bradley, and Marcus Foster.
Lizzy Pattinson is also innately involved with the Twilight series herself, since she was the vocalist behind the background music in Twilight's earliest cafeteria scene.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' 'Third Wife' actress details revealed

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' - Summit Ent.

If you wondered who portrayed the "Third Wife" in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, it's Mariel Belanger, and a bit of new information about the actress has recently been revealed by Castanet.net.
Apparently, Belanger is a veteran of the theater as well as a poet, and she also works as a theater director.
In The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the "Third Wife" was part of the Quileute Legends backstory told by Billy Black (portrayed by Gil Birmingham in the film).
"This is definitely a break out role for" Mariel Belanger, talent agent Julie Donnelly explained.
While the part was small in the film, it was quite significant to the storyline, since Bella (portrayed by Kristen Stewart) later replicates the heroic actions of the "Third Wife" when she and Edward (Robert Pattinson, of course) are attacked by Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Riley (Xavier Samuel).

Taylor Lautner talks about the Jacob/Edward rivalry

Taylor Lautner turned down X-Men

There was a rumor a couple of weeks ago that Taylor Lautner was up for a role in X-Men: First Class.  It turns out the reason that Taylor was not cast was because he was too busy! Director Bryan Singer says they wanted him in the film.

Taylor Lautner has turned down a part in X-Men: First Class.
Despite being offered a prominent role by X-Men producer Bryan Singer, the Twilight hunk has been forced to decline the part due to other work commitments.
Singer explained: “I wanted Taylor to do it, I really did. He’s doing a movie in Pittsburgh called Abduction, and then he’s got the next Twilight movie.”
He added: “We talked about it a lot. He is a friend. And I really wanted to make it work. It just doesn’t look like it’s possible to do it.”
Having shot to fame in the Twilight Saga, Lautner also recently revealed that it is not just teenage girls who are huge fans of his.

Taylor Lautner Surprises Fans At A Pittsburgh High School!

Taylor Lautner is currently in Pittsburgh filming his new movie Abduction. Taylor has been filming at Hampton High School, and gave fans a special treat!
There have been numerous fans camped out in a field at Hampton High, waiting to catch a glimpse of the Eclipse actor.
Taylor gave the fans a surprise on Monday by taking a break to go over to where the fans have been camping out and signing autographs and posing for pictures!

“It was amazing,” Hampton graduate Chelsea Waldschmidt told See and Be Seen. “I actually got so close to him I touched him.”
Waldschmidt said she and about 100 other girls were watching Lautner film a scene outside the school, which included him riding a motorcycle and driving in an SUV. “All of a sudden the SUV came over to where the crowd was standing and he [Lautner] got out and said, ‘Hey, what’s up guys?’ Everyone started going crazy,” Waldschmidt said. Despite all of the excitement, which included paparazzi from national media outlets, Waldschmidt said Lautner remained calm and wasn’t in any hurry to leave. “I’ve never met a celebrity, so it was really cool. I didn’t expect him to be so nice. He didn’t even have any security with him,” Waldschmidt said.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' stars Booboo Stewart and Kellan Lutz to star in 'Guardians of Luna'

It seems that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse stars Booboo Stewart ("Seth Clearwater") and Kellan Lutz ("Emmett Cullen") are teaming up for more than just the red carpet of the DoSomething Awards.
According to Anime News Network, the two are set to work together on an animated DVD film called Guardians Of Luna. Stewart is set to portray "Jake Segerstrom," and the film will be a "dark-action" finished in the fall of 2011.
Booboo Stewart confirmed his involvement (as well as Kellan Lutz's) with the project on Twitter yesterday.
The film has already set up an official website and Facebook page (links thanks to ANN) as well as a Twitter page.
On the Facebook page, the plot of Guardians Of Luna is described as follows:

Carson Stone has come to Steelhenge looking for answers about his lineage, driven by a mysterious letter from his father. What he doesn't realize is that the city bears an ancient curse. With each full moon, the city is terrorized by a pack of vicious werewolves. City leaders plan to harness the ancient power which has summoned the werewolf menace, and Carson becomes embroiled in a battle to defend it, joining forces with three other werewolves.

Eclipse Takes Over Spain, Breaks Records

Even with Spain’s Wold Cup victory last week, The Twilight Saga:Eclipse still dominated the country in amazing volumes. It’s official. Eclipse has taken over Spain.

Last weekend was without a doubt Eclipse’s weekend. The movie took over 73% of the nation’s total box office. Not even Spain’s World Cup victory was able to make the smallest dent over the impressive figures of the third installment of The Twilight Saga, numbers that speak for themselves: over 1.34 million viewers and more than € 8,500,000 ($10,958,788.01 dollars in one weekend) were raised at the box office, which have made Eclipse the most successful and most watched film of 2010 in its first five days in theaters. The amazing commercial success of Eclipse confirms once again the loyal support from all the followers of the Twilight saga that keep enjoying the dangerous love triangle between Bella, Edward and Jacob.

Breaking Dawn Producer Talks Plans for Birth Scene

Producer of the Twilight films, Wyck Godfrey has a huge job on his hands:Breaking Dawn.  If you thought reading and or understanding the largest book of the saga was difficult, can you imagine being involved in making a movie for a story of this caliber? Whether its sex scenes, Isle Esme, or the 3-D debate Wyck assures us that they are listening to us the fans. Here’s what the producer had to say. Beware, spoiler alert!

Twilight Saga producer Wyck Godfrey has revealed how the filmmakers are considering handling Breaking Dawn‘s graphic birth scene, and why 3-D is still an option for the final installment of the franchise. 
My wife’s an OB-GYN so we should bring her on set to make sure that if Edward is going to do an oral Cesarean, he really needs to make the proper incision with his teeth.” Then, he shared the anti-gore rational that, I have to admit, makes perfect sense:“I think the one thing that we’ve done that we’ve really done in all the films is keep them very subjective and keep them from Bella’s point of view. So the conversations we’ve had with Bill, is that we’ll try to do something similar here; you’re with Bella’s perspective and her point of view of what’s taking place in the rush around her, as she’s in intense pain. Not so focused, objectively, on her body and his body and that. So I think it’ll be something like that, in terms of trying to make the audience experience and feel the confusion, almost, of what’s happening to her.”
When rumors first broke in February that producers were considering going 3-D for Breaking Dawn, 67 percent of readers responding to a PopWatch poll didn’t like the idea. But Godfrey makes a reasonable case for that as well:
“We have considered it, and everything’s being discussed, but I know that part of a way to differentiate the two movies would be to have one be in 2-D, and when she becomes a vampire we move into 3-D. But we haven’t really gotten far enough to decide what we’re going to do. I’m of two minds of it, frankly, and I think everyone is; I don’t want to chase the format if it’s not organic and appropriate. If we think it is, we will.”

I personally don’t think 3-D is wise. But that’s why I’m not in the movie business. Maybe it will come out fantastic, but I’ll pass on a 3-D Breaking Dawn. Check out the full story here.
