Jackson Rathbone and his band 100 Monkeys talked with Flutterzine at the Toronto Internation Film Festival where his film Girlfriend was premiered.

(Flutter Zine): How did you form 100 Monkeys?
(100 Monkeys): 100 Monkeys was formed in a living room in Hollywood when Ben Johnson Ben Graupner and Jackson conjured up Monster Delux. Jerad and Uncle Larry joined the band in the following months as the we took our first residency at the 24k Lounge.
(FZ): Who thought of the name?
(100 Monkeys): Jackson and Graupner had been using the name 100 Monkeys when they would record with others. After the completion of Monster Delux 100 Monkeys become the formal title of the band.
(FZ): What inspires your music?
(100 Monkeys): Anything and everything. Common elements in the music are the devil, drinking and women who cheat and steal.
(FZ): Talk about the song writing process, do you all write together as a group?
(100 Monkeys): We have many approaches to the way we write our songs. Sometimes we’ll go on day long improvisations and come out with pieces like Wasteland Too or Future Radio. In other cases one of us will write up an entire song and bring it in to the group to flesh out like we did with LDF.

Will the New ‘Breaking Dawn’ Cast Become Stars?

A recent MTV.com article asked the question:  ”Will New Cast Members Become Breakout Stars?”

Last summer, no one knew who Xavier Samuel was. Then he was cast as the vampire Riley in “Eclipse” and suddenly found himself an object of fascination in the “Twilight” community.
Now a new crop of actors, many of whom are largely unknown, have joined the franchise for “Breaking Dawn,” the two-part finale of the supernatural series.

The article goes on to describe a few of the new cast member’s past roles:

Lee Pace: The 31-year-old “Pushing Daises” star is easily the biggest name announced this week.
Noel Fisher: This former child actor is perhaps best known for his part in “The Riches,” an AMC drama in which he excelled, going to toe-to-toe with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver.
Judi Shekoni: The glamorous British actress is set to portray Zafrina of the Amazon coven
Joe Anderson: It’s unclear how large Anderson’s role, as European nomad Alistair, will end up being. But the guy has got acting chops: He turned what could have been a disposable supporting part in “The Crazies” into the film’s most compelling character.

Dakota Fanning Makes ‘Six Best Actresses Under 25′ List

Film.com has come out with a list of who they think the “Six Best Actresses Under 25″ are.  Twilight’s own Dakota Fanning makes this list alongside other actresses like Ellen Page and Emma Stone.  Although the article doesn’t seem to impressed with her work on Twilight, (calling her a “brooding little vampire”) it applauds her versatility and interesting choices in films like The Runaways.  Read the whole list here:  Film.com.

Kristen Stewart attended a press screening of Welcome to the Rileys this evening in New York City where she rocked her now-dark Bella hair, red lipstick, and this gorgeous dress. I WANT this dress (well, only if I can have the body, too, but seriously, I love it!)… Her dress is Valentino and her heels are by Brian Atwood (thanks to TheFabLife for that tidbit).

Nikki Reed (aka Rosalie Hale) talkede to MTV News about the Breaking Dawn scripts on the red carpet at the 2010 Scream Awards on October 16th.

“They’re definitely watermarked,” Reed admitted of the script’s security. “In fact, I work with an acting coach … and I wanted her to obviously have a copy so that we could work together and it was a huge process. She’s like a really well-respected coach.”
It appears that studio execs are keeping such a close eye on the script for good reason, as Reed said filmmakers have knocked a great screenplay.
“I think that they’ve really mastered the art of translating these books and transferring every single element almost verbatim, yet it’s obviously condensed because the book is endless,” Reed said. “I didn’t know how they were gonna conquer that challenge but they seem to have done it.”
The actress said she is ready to tackle the script head-on as production gets underway for the 2011 release, and is amped to work with the flick’s acclaimed director.
“Lots of fittings, no rehearsals yet [but] we head out there pretty soon. I’m really excited, I think Bill Condon is a genius,” she said. “I’ve only spoken to him on the phone but his love and devotion has sort of bled into [other parts of the production] because I’ve had wig fittings and wardrobe fittings here and you feel his presence even though I haven’t spent any time with him one on one.”
As Reed continues to ride out her role as Rosalie in the “Twilight” series, the actress reflected on the experience so far and said she’s satisfied with her contribution to the onscreen phenomenon.
“If it all ends tomorrow for me I’m happy because I feel like I’ve been a part of things that I’m really proud of [and] that I’m really grateful for,” she said.

People.com has a great new interview with  Breaking Dawn Vampire Nikki Reed (aka Rosalie Hale). In in new interview Nikki discusses how excited she is to become an immortal Aunt, and how the relationship between Rosalie and Jacob goes from pure hatred, to a bond -

“Selfishly, I’m really pleased with my relationship with this kid,” the actress, 22, tells PEOPLE while attending a Cirque du Tacori event in Santa Monica, “but I really like the way it affects my relationship with Jacob.”Reed’s character, Rosalie Hale, has always had a sizable chip on her shoulder when it comes to Taylor Lautner‘s shape-shifter, but after reading through the new scripts, Reed is looking forward to exploring her vampire’s softer side.
“In the first part of the books Jacob and I hate each other,” she says, “but we bond over this baby and we develop this connection that is really powerful.”
It’s a connection that Reed says is reminiscent of her off-screen friendship with costar Lautner, 18.
“It feels similar but at the same time more volatile than the relationship that I have in real life with Taylor,” she says. “We’re obviously buddies, but there’s a playfulness that we get to explore that wasn’t there before.”

Kellan Lutz (aka Emmett Cullen) stopped by Jump SoHo shoe store recently in New York City.

Kellan Lutz was in the neighborhood before beginning filming on the fourth and last installment of Twilight: Breaking Dawn.  He had to run to meetings and didn’t even have a chance to pick up any shoes but just wanted to stop in and say what’s up because he was so into the boots he got last time.  Very cool guy.
