What Musicians/Bands do Twilight Fans want to hear on the Breaking Dawn Sountrack?
On Monday, the full track list for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1‘s Soundtrack will be unveiled, and only Bruno Mars has been
10. Linkin Park – Linkin Park was one of the bands which Stephenie Meyer cited as a big inspiration for her in writing the Twilight Saga. They appeared on the first soundtrack, for Twilight, but their “Leave Out all the Rest” was not an original song composed specifically for the Saga. Since the style of Twilight Saga soundtracks ever since the first has been to include songs completely unique to the albums, having a new Linkin Park contribution would be great.Read the top 4 bands/musicians fan want to hear on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack HERE
9. Bobby Long and/or Marcus Foster – Bobby Long and Marcus Foster both had a hand in the first soundtrack, having been the writers of Robert Pattinson’s “Let Me Sign,” but they have been steadilyearning their place in the music industry outside of the Saga. Foster recently released his “I Was Broken” music video with Kristen Stewart featured in it, though, so he’s clearly not opposed to keeping the Twilight roots intact. Perhaps a book-ended contribution from either or both would be appropriate for Breaking Dawn, even if it is just written lyrics again.
8. The Black Keys – “Chop and Change” was a big success for the Eclipse soundtrack, and The Black Keys have been enjoying immense success over the past couple of years. Many, many responders said they hope to see The Black Keys show up again on the Breaking Dawn album.
7. Muse - It’s almost a given, at this point, that Twilight fans will want to see Muse on the soundtrack. This was the number two most popular suggestion after the query, and it’s hardly any wonder why. Muse’s been a part of each Twilight album to-date, and the landscape of the Twilight soundtracks just wouldn’t be the same without their involvement. Twilight wouldn’t be the same without them, in fact.
6. Blue October – There’s been a lot of back-and-forth between Justin Furstenfeld and Twilight. He and Stephenie Meyer have a great relationship – following his inclusion in her Breaking Dawn press tour in 2008 – but things just haven’t panned out for Blue October and the Saga‘s soundtracks yet. Many fans hope that Breaking Dawn will be the one that brings Blue October into the Twilight Saga musican manifold, once and for all.
5. 100 Monkeys – Jackson Rathbone and his 100 Monkeys have become a staple of the Twilight series, even though they’ve yet to have a song on any soundtrack. The band has thrived despite intense filming schedules and location changes, and they’ve just completed a big tour across the United States. Their second album, “Liquid Zoo,” just made waves, and they’ve probably got something worth including on the Breaking Dawn album tucked away.

Catherine Hardwicke to Give Workshop
Hardwicke also will discuss her experience directing Twilight, the vampire blockbuster that grossed $69.6 million on opening weekend — the highest opening ever for a film by a female director.More details here!
“I’ll talk about how we prepped the treetop sequence and the seven different locations we used to film that — what was the first unit shot, what was the second unit shot, what did Rob [Pattinson] and Kristen [Stewart] do, where we put the platform.”
Hardwicke, who began hercareer in Hollywood as a production designer, said she developed her techniques through trial and error, a year of schooling at the University of California, Los Angeles, and watching andworking with a number of “awesome directors” including Cameron Crowe, David Russell and Lisa Cholodenko.
“Being aproduction designer , I was a department head right in there with them, next to them, coming up with ideas, pitching, running through rehearsals with them,” she said.
“I saw a variety of directors’ techniques and then on each movie I used what seemed to work best for that film.”

Carter Burwell completes ‘Breaking Dawn, Part 1′ score
Bill Condon and partner Jack Morrissey have been spending some time in London where the score for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1, was being recorded with composer Carter Burwell (who scored the original Twilight) was heading things up. Morrissey has taken to his Twitter to give some details about the recording sessions, including a couple of familiar faces who came in to show their support.
Two morsels for Friday: *The score is recorded. *I thought you’d be interested in hearing that NEW MOON composer Alexandre Desplat and ECLIPSE composer Howard Shore both happened to be in London this week and stopped by to visit TWILIGHT and BD composer Carter Burwell.Via Twilight Examiner
*Lastly — for the moment, anyway — the score was recorded at historic Abbey Road Studios (http://www.abbeyroad.com/) Still owned by the Beatles
All six STAR WARS scores were recorded there, as were all three LORD OF THE RINGS scores (also by Howard Shore), and at least HARRY POTTER 7
Eight reasons why Breaking Dawn will be the best Twilight movie yet
MSN Movies has created an list of why they think Breaking Dawn (Part 1, ) will be the best of The Twilight Saga so far.
1. Wedding BellaClick here to read the rest!
Everyone loves a good movie wedding. And by Jove they’ll get it in Breaking Dawn Part 1 as Bella and Edward tie the knot in a heart-wrenchingly romantic ceremony in the woods. Watch Bella lip-wobble up the aisle with her father at the beginning of the new trailer. You can bet fashion companies are already drafting copies of that hairpiece.
2. Vampire sex!
A steamy honeymoon scene means this will be the sexiest Twilight yet. Check out Edward sweeping up Bella and carrying her off to bed from 0:50 on the trailer. Then check out the mess they’ve made of those feather pillows. ‘Last night was the best night of my existence,’ he later says (note strategic avoidance of the word ‘life’).
A new dawn for Taylor Lautner
Here is a new candid interview with Taylor. It really is a great in-depth article. Check it out below.
Taylor Lautner thought he was safe. The 19-year-old actor — best known to millions of moviegoers as heartsick werewolf Jacob Black from the ”Twilight” movies — had driven from the home he shares with his parents in Valencia, a tranquil planned community about 30 miles north of Hollywood, to a downtown Los Angeles hotel.
He had arrived for an interview to discuss his new action film, “Abduction,” out Friday. The movie, the first directed by John Singleton (“Boyz N the Hood”) in six years, is a sort of “Bourne Identity” for the teen set. In it, Lautner stars as a high school student forced to go on the run after he discovers that his parents have been concealing a weighty secret about his background.
The rooftop meeting location had been selected for its privacy, but almost as soon as Lautner ordered an iced tea, he spotted an intruder and tensed noticeably.
“I believe I just saw a paparazzi right there,” he said, furrowing his brow. “It definitely was, because I recognized his face. Like, I’ve seen him before.”
Although said photographer never materialized again, Lautner seemed on edge for the remainder of the sitdown — perhaps channeling some of the healthy paranoia “Abduction’s” Nathan cultivates over the course of his adventures or possibly just revealing his own internal struggles with the nearly incomprehensible level of fame he’s achieved at such a young age.
He has been on high alert, so to speak, for the last three years, since the release of the first “Twilight” film propelled him and costars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson into the center of a pop culture firestorm. Adapted from the bestselling supernatural teen romance novels by Stephenie Meyer, the first three films in the franchise have grossed more than $1.8-billion worth of tickets worldwide. As a result, Lautner — along with his famously chiseled abdominal muscles — has become a staple on the bedroom wall of teenage girls.
His days as the werewolf are waning, though, with the first of the saga’s two-part finale, “Breaking Dawn,” opening Nov. 18 and the second installment hitting theaters next year. Now Lautner is looking to life post-”Twilight” and is heading into that future with a specific plan: He wants to be an action star, like Tom Cruise or “Bourne’s” Matt Damon. It’s acareer path that, should he manage it, would unquestionably keep Lautner in the bright eye of the spotlight for years. And the success or failure of “Abduction” will be the first indication of whether he can achieve his goal.
As Singleton put it: “The whole goal of the movie was all about showing that Taylor can actually carry a picture — that he’s truly a star.”
“Abduction,” Lautner said, piqued his interest because he thought the role would be demanding.“I don’t know why, but I’m always looking to challenge myself as much as possible,” he said with an earnest grin. “Plus, I had always been an action fan and been fans of actors like [Matt] Damon and Harrison Ford. What I love about their action movies is that they’re not just action movies. They’re playing a character that goes through an incredible journey.”
Singleton asked the actor to watch Cruise’s cinematic oeuvre — from “Born on the Fourth of July” to “Minority Report” — in addition to Ford’s performance in ”The Fugitive” and Robert De Niro’s in ”Raging Bull.”
“I was like afilm school teacher, talking to him about the rules of playing a hero,” Singleton said. “A hero walks upright. He walks with his head high. I was like his coach.”
To prepare physically for the film — shot in Pittsburgh over 51 days last year — Lautner learned how to ride a motorcycle and engaged in arduous boxing and wrestlingtraining .
He appears in nearly every frame of the picture, and the largely physical role allows him to showcase his propensity for stunt work. It is without question his bid to abandon his status as a teen heartthrob, a prospect that’s proved tricky for his “Twilight” colleagues.
But Singleton believes that the powers that be are invested in the young man’s success. “The industry wants new blood,” he said. “They want someone else they can build movies around. So basically, Hollywood is kind of rooting for Taylor.”“I’m just hoping that the fans can support me doing completely different things outside of the franchise,” he said. “And yeah, I mean, there probably is a lot at stake. It definitely crosses my mind, and I would be lying if I said I feel no pressure. But whenever that thought does come in my mind, I try to push it out as quickly as possible. I try and just stay focused on things that I can control.”Moments later he got ready to leave, posing for photos with a few fans who had been waiting nearby and then asking a reporter to make sure that the elusive paparazzo wasn’t still hanging around. Even a budding action star, it seems, can never be too careful.

Kristen Stewart: People will never forget Twilight. Movies that stick with you like that are rare. And we have inspired many new films. Hopefully I’m going to be able to be part of a few.
TELE5: Tell us a little bit of ‘Breaking Dawn’. There’s awedding , honeymoon …
Kristen: It was great to play this unshakable love. Previously there have been moments where you had to wonder if the two will make it. This time around, they are incredibly close, like a family. Bella and Edward are not only lovers, but deeply connected. They’re married, it’s done. And it’s great to see how they cope with their problems. The crisis, if they are going to have their child or not. Bella has never been so vulnerable. And he has never been so angry. This time around everything is a little more serious and somber.
TELE5: Have you yourself changed over the years?
Kristen: For me it’s really big thing coming to an end. Mycareer was very breathless. Now I can take a break and ask myself, “Where do I stand right now? How do I feel? Where do I want to go? ” I’m not used to that.
TELE5: What makes a hero in your eyes? Do you know one in real life?
Kristen: A hero wants more than just a narcissistic pursuit of happiness. Taylor, for example is such an incredibly passionate person. He has a strongerpersonality than most people I know. I’m sure in the right situation he would behave like a real hero.

Summit Entertainment sues website for misleading fans
Summit Entertainment is suing the owner of Twilight.com whom they say is misleading people that come to the site, allowing them to believe they have come to an official platform for the film. From THR:
Summit Entertainment has filed all sorts of lawsuits with the goal of protecting its lucrative Twilight franchise. The latest legal target is the owner of Twilight.com, alleged to be deceiving consumers into believing the website is authorized by the studio and connected to the vampireRead more here.romance films.
From the looks of Twilight.com, the site appears to be rather unimpressive. One could call it a fan site except the average 13-year-old girl with a Rob Pattinson crush could probably design something better. Nevertheless, the site seems hardly nefarious, even linking to Amazon.com so that consumers can purchase Stephenie Meyer books andThe Twilight Saga DVDs and CDs instead of pirating them.
But Summit, which has previously been in court over things like Twilight toiletries and Bella jackets, sees something here that compels litigation against the dilution of its marks.
According to the complaint, the website’s owner, Tom Markson, has been using the studio’s copyrighted Twilight materials in his banner, plus linking to stuff like unauthorized Twilight contests and “fakecasting calls .”

HitFix: 15 Movies You Can’t Miss This Fall
HitFix has created their list of the fifteen movies that you can’t miss this fall. Several familiar films appear on the list, but most importantly:
‘Breaking Dawn, Pt. I’
Opening: Nov. 18Also notable: 50/50, Like Crazy, Immortals.
Starring: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, eh, you know ‘em all anyway
Why: It’s almost the end of the line for the Bella Swan saga. How graphic will the love scene be between Bella and Edward? What does the wedding dress look like? How often will Jacob pout over losing her to a vampire? How will Oscarwinner Bill Condon’s involvement as a director increase the dramatic quality of the film? We’re on pins and needles.

Rob and Kristen on the cover of Premiere Magazine (France)
The actor talks behind the scenes of the fourth movie, a movie which is going to be as crazy as its filming. It was an intense experience that changed the star.Source | Translated by RPLife
‘We spent two whole months filming in the same room in front of a green screen.’
As Breaking Dawn part 1 comes out in a little less than two months, Robert Pattinson, in a long interview with Premiere Magazine, goes back to the filming of the fourth film of the Twilight saga. What could only have been an unusual shooting (green screen, honeymoon scene in Brazil, fans going crazy…), turned out to be an intense experience. Indeed, Twilight part 4 took a serious turn and doesn’t hesitate in dealing with sex and blood. You read it right. What some would take for a corny teenage movie, became ‘a weird drama that ventures sometimes towards the horror’, confides Pattinson to Premiere before warning ‘the audience is going to get their money’s worth.’
In this interview, he admits being surprised everyday by the turn of events, shooting took. One that lasted eight months but the end product is going to be worth it. ‘No movie this size dares taking those kind of risks.‘, valuies the actor who jokes about becoming an expert in ‘oral Caesarean’ (those who read the book will understand) and why he felt like the guinea pig of a weird experiment. Something David Cronenberg didn’t disapprove of.
The 25 years old gets loose and multiples anecdotes and secrets , as if the way shooting turn and the near end of the Twilight saga freed him. Rob talks about the most improbable scenes, the last day of filming and Kristen Stewart. The actress who was too interviewed by our magazine. She also confirms the feeling of eeriness on set. ‘I sometimes felt like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day”
In this interview Pattinson also breaks the bland image, the movies seem to have stuck on him. He still causes crowds to show up everywhere he goes. (He talks about a little misadventure in Brazil that could have made a movie on its own.) But he did put some distance between him and the hysteria of fans and doesn’t want to be trapped anymore in a phenomenon that escapes him.
Thus, when he recalls the filming of Breaking Dawn, he doesn’t spare the Twihards that will most likely be outraged by the liberties the movie took from Stephenie Meyer’s book. Liberties, that Bill Condon, at the helm of this movie, granted himself. Something that his predecessors never dared doing.
‘Too bad‘ for the fans, tells Rob. They’ll have to follow anyway. The movie seems so crazy he asked often the crew ‘Are you sure we’re filming Twilight?Isn’t it supposed to be harmless and PG-13?’

1960′s Dark Shadows is the reason for Bill Condon’s Vampire love
In the Toronto Sun, Bill explains what drew him to do a film with vampires :
Bill Condon has directed Gods and Monsters, Kinsey and Dreamgirls.Source : The Toronto Sun
None of which, Dreamgirls’ music industry milieu aside, are about vampires. So what’s he doing directing back-to-back Twilight sequels (the obvious paycheque aside)? Blame Dark Shadows, the 1960s supernatural soap that’s currently being made into a film by Tim Burton with Johnny Depp starring as blood-sucker Barnabas Collins.
“I was a kid and I would run home to see that show,” Condon remembers.
“There were all kinds of creatures, but it was mostly vampires and Barnabas Collins. I think it was growing up in a very intense Catholic household that makes you a little twisted. Whatever new vampires are around, I’ve always been interested in them.”
Condon is behind the camera for both installments of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Part 1 opens in November with the second film to follow in late 2012.
And, Dark Shadows fixation or not, Twilight shares another theme with his previous work: Characters who are being repressed by society’s conventions.
“I do feel like I am drawn to people who are outsiders that are yearning — and all these characters are. Jacob is yearning all the time. Edward and Bella are trying to find a way to live the life that they were meant to.”
NextMovie: The Men and Women of Fall
Next Movie has created their lists of the Men and Women of Fall.
Kristen Stewart, ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ (Nov. 18)
Headboard-shattering sex… What more can we say? Twihards are already squealing and weeping in anticipation for the nuptials of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. K.Stew finally gets her fang on, and an unexpected baby bump, as the Cullens prepare to do battle with some d-bag vampire council leadership over little baby Renesmee.
Taylor Lautner, ‘Abduction’ (Sept. 23) and ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ (Nov. 18)
As his “Abduction” director John Singleton has said, there’s more to Lautner than Jacob Black; and while we adore his hot-blooded (and shirtless!) werewolf, we can’t wait to see the 19-year-old unleash his swagger — as a teen who discovers his life is a carefully constructed lie — before giving Bella his blood in November.
Robert Pattinson, ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ (Nov. 18)
Pattinson is already a go-to leading man, and he owes his status as a Hollywood phenomenon to his sparkly performance as Edward Cullen in the “Twilight” films. We’re excited to see Bill Condon’s take on the penultimate installment of the teen vampire saga, especially since Pattinson’s Edward and Kristen Stewart’s Bella get married and finally get to break a bed.
