Valentine’s Day director Garry Marshall gave details to E!Online correspondent Marc Malkin about Valentine’s Day co-stars Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift. What details did he give? It had to do with the first scene they shot -
“I always start with the kissing scenes,” director Garry Marshall told me at last night’s Hollywood premiere of the star-studded romantic comedy. “The first thing they did was kiss.”Marshall also told E! that he would like to work with Taylor Lautner again, and that he would let him do things no other director would -
So how did it go?
“The first three were nice,” Marshall said. “By the fourth I think they started going together. I don’t know what the hell happened, but somewhere in the fifth or sixth take they were dating.”
But Marshall promises he’ll let the Twilight star do things no other director will allow. “That Taylor can take a grape, throw it up in the air, do a flip and then catch it in his mouth,” Marshall joked. “Nobody will let him do that in a movie—I’m gonna let him!”
