Dakota Fanning appears on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' to promote 'The Runaways'

Last night, Dakota Fanning ("Jane" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to promote her pending release film The Runaways.
In the interview, Fanning discussed everything from how she celebrated her sixteenth birthday to how she learned Cherie Currie (her character in the film, a real-life person obviously)'s moves with the microphone.
Fanning also discussed the fact that she lent her real voice to the film's singing credentials, noting that this was not only her first time portraying a real character but also the first time she learned that she can sing for a role if needs be.
Fanning is featured on the official soundtrack for The Runaways for her song "Cherry Bomb," and she and co-star Kristen Stewart are featured jointly for their work on "Queens of Noise" and "Dead End Justice."
The Runaways debuts in theaters on March 19th.
