Interestingly enough, Pattinson explained the process of dealing with the droves of individuals lined up around the set of filming for Remember Me, noting that after a while, you just kind of get used to ignoring it.
He then went on to compare the situation with that of his present project, Bel Ami. According to Pattinson, there are no tenacious fans surrounding the set in London.
There are, though he doesn't mention it in this interview, photographers who have been catching Pattinson in action on the set.
Which leads to another point that he made . . . not only does he know he has to bring to a film a good performance, but there is also this expectation that he'll bring the loot along with it. In other words, there is a pressure that he has upon him to bring with him his Twilight following, and that can be a little daunting.
That line of discussion then led to Pattinson addressing the issue of his involvement with the picture Water For Elephants. The film is set, he states, to go into production sometime this summer, but his decison to join the cast was not merely based on time slot availability.
Instead, he says that the picture offered something unique - the chance to work with an elephant.
Pattinson also had a fairly interesting interview with iVillage where he talked about whether Remember Me will draw in an older (or at least different) audience than the Twilight demographic. Of course, he then goes on to talk about some of the formulaic efforts involved in his becoming "Tyler Hawkins" for the project.
