Eastern Conference Champions, one of Alexandra Patsavas' introductory bands chosen for the official motion picture soundtrack to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, definitely provided an interesting new sound for the album, and in a new interview with the band, they reveal the origins of "A Million Miles an Hour."
"The song came together in a late night recording session just hours before we were leaving for Las Vegas to celebrate Josh's birthday. It's about how we feel we're able to turn it up and come through with what we need to do at any given time and also about the neverending 'hurry up and wait' moments that happen," they revealed.
They also talked about the wait that they endured in finding out whether they were actually chosen for the album.
"The Twilight thing was months of hard work for us, lots of stress, lots of hearing "maybe" and all that. We knew we had a chance but we also knew that hundreds of other bands - most of whom were more well known than ECC – were going for it as well. When we got the placement the three of us knew it would be a big deal but probably didn't anticipate how big it actually is," they explained.
