'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson is still on the 'Saturday Night Live' wish list

For a while now, the hope's been strong that The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and Remember Me star Robert Pattinson might test out his on-stage charisma with Saturday Night Live.
However, back in November, Pattinson himself talked to MTV about the idea of an SNL appearance, and he wasn't too keen on it.
"I'm terrified of doing stuff like that," he revealed. "It's really putting yourself out there . . . and if you're not funny then it's like, 'Woah, God why did that guy do that . . . I'd love to write an episode, with a guide, I mean that would be fun," he concluded.

Apparently, SNL's creator Lorne Michaels is still interested in seeing Pattinson take the host spot for the show though because, according to The Wrap, Michaels stated "We asked him this season ... And then he did Jimmy’s show and that went well for him."

Twilight' star Kellan Lutz might roll up his sleeves for 'Deathgames'

In case you haven't noticed, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Kellan Lutz ("Emmett Cullen") seems pretty game for any kind of film role.
He claimed to be versatile and eager to portray the vast range of potential characters in his latest interview with Interview Magazine, and today's news indicates he's gonna get his shot at being in an action film.
Zap2it reports that Kellan Lutz is working on a deal where'd he play a kidnapping victim forced to participate in, well, deathgames. Appropriately, then, the film is to be entitled Deathgames, and the movie will be shot in Louisiana (where his picture Love, Wedding, Marriage is also being shot starting next week) shortly after he finishes his next film.

Twilight Lexicon hosting unique 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' video contest for fans

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' - Summit Ent.
In The Twilight Saga: New Moon, there was a great scene with Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Michael Welch at the movie theater watching Face Punch.
In the book, the three saw a zombie flick called Dead End, but in the film version, it was Face Punch, an action film where the key dialogue involved included "Both of you put both of your guns down or I'm gonna blow both your frickin' heads off" and "Let's do it!"
Other than those hysterical phrases, there wasn't much to the picture, but Twilight Lexicon is hoping to change that.
They're hosting a fan Face Punch trailer contest for fans to get creative in making their own video trailers for the fictional film.
They've asked that the submissions be categorically trailer-like and that they run about a minute and a half long. Three submissions will win prizes, and the contest ends on May 5th.
Additional contest rules and regulations can be found here.

Kristen Stewart says it was 'strange' for 'Bella' to kiss 'Jacob' in 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse'

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in The Twilight Saga: New Moon
Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in 'New Moon' - Summit Ent.
While Jacob (Taylor Lautner) might not have gotten a kiss from Bella (Kristen Stewart) in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, any good Twilight fan knows that there are not one but two kisses between these characters in Eclipse.
When it came to bringing that kiss to the big screen, for Kristen Stewart, it was a bit strange - at least, according to her interview with Entertainment Weekly for its EW Summer Preview featuring The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
For Kristen Stewart, who reprises her role as Bella in Twilight: Eclipse, locking lips with costar Taylor Lautner (who plays her pal Jacob) felt odd—not just because she thinks of Lautner as a kid brother, but because Bella’s heart truly belongs to vampire hottie Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). “It felt really weird kissing someone else as Bella,” says Stewart. “I was like, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ It was a really strange experience—as it should have been.”
More of the EW feature is available here.

Quileute Nation announces photo and video policy for guests

'Twilight' by Stephenie Meyer - Hatchette Books
If you're like a lot of Twilight fans, the idea of trekking over to Forks, Washington and La Push can be quite exciting.
To see the real towns and cultures represented in the Twilight Saga live and in person, and particularly to witness the effect that the series has had upon the communities, is very tempting.
However, one thing that Twilight fans may or may not be aware of is that the Quileute Nation has a charge, to "preserv[e] and protect[] the culture, traditions, and natural resources handed down."
That said, it's very important for fans to acknowledge and respect the policy of this community, particularly when it comes to photographs and videos of the area.
The Quileute Nation recently issued a press release detailing those policies, and here are a few important points traveling Twilight fans should know about.
  • Only the Quileute Nation can authorize the capture of images and sounds not intended strictly for personal use. Personal videography and sound recordings aren't permitted, and neither are photographs of singing or dancing performances.
  • All artwork is copyrighted and should not be photographed, sketched, or videotaped without the creator or owner's permission.
These policies are important to know, especially for those creating commercial products from their visits to the area, because there have been incidences of violation in the past.
Notably, there was an infraction made by MSN of the video policy earlier this year, for which they issued an apology.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in secret UK ‘engagement’ visit

The pair have been rumoured to be a couple ever since they filmed the first Twilight movie, but though it’s now widely thought they’re going out since New Moon, there’s still been no official confirmation.
Rob and Kristen reportedly visited London, and on their trip met Rob’s parents in west London.
It might not be a coincidence that the get-together comes only days after his aunt Diane Nutley accused Rob of turning his back on his own family.

Alex Merez Talks Robert Pattinson

Alex Merez has recently talked The Age about Robert Pattinson.
But despite the fansites, wiki-entries, hype and teen-screamers, Meraz is more than happy to leave the hysteria frontline action to Twilight’s pasty Brit heart throb Robert Pattinson, who plays the 104-year-old Edward Cullen.
“Rob’s much better at it than I am,” says Meraz. “While it’s all very flattering, it’s not something that I’d like to experience every day.”

Rupert Grint Talks Robert Pattinson

Rupert Grint has recently talked to Independent about Robert Pattinson.
Another reason he’s arguably grateful for his red hair is that it hasn’t quite turned him into a teen sensation. While his face doubtless adorns many a teenage girl’s wall, he doesn’t really suffer from the hysteria that greets Twilight star Robert Pattinson – just two years older than Grint – wherever he goes. “I get recognised occasionally but nothing like that,” he says. “It’s crazy. You just can’t really go anywhere. I’ve got a much more manageable existence. Must be pretty…” He stops for a second, imagining such an intrusion into his life. “It’s just come from nowhere [for him]. It’s such a quick thing. Good luck to him.”

MTV: Kristen Stewart Says Bella’s Not as Tortured in ‘Eclipse’

We previously posted a sneak peek from Kristen Stewart’s EW interview in their Summer Movie Preview issue. MTV.com has new quotes from issue, in which Kristen Stewart explains how Bella is much different in Eclipse -
Stewart reveals in Entertainment Weekly’s summer movie preview issue, that made the character much easier to play. “I wasn’t as tortured as I was on ‘New Moon.’ Bella really knows what she wants in ‘Eclipse.’ She’s not just a dumb kid talking because she’s in love.”
That’s not to suggest that playing a more-focused Bella was a breeze. Though the teen matures over the course of the story, graduating from high school and getting engaged to Robert Pattinson’s Edward, at one point she is pulled back into the romantic embrace of Taylor Lautner’s werewolf Jacob. That scene was difficult, both because Stewart sees Lautner as something of a younger brother and because she understands that Bella truly loves Edward.
And then there’s an experience that fans have been looking forward to for years — one not strange at all but rather a long time coming: Edward and Bella’s engagement. Producer Wyck Godfrey said the scene will more than fulfill expectations. “She walks into Edward’s room, and there’s a beautiful four-poster bed, and it’s like, ‘Wow, here we go!’ “

Peter Facinelli, Project Halo & 1736 Family Crisis Center

Our beloved Peter Facinelli (aka Dr. Carlisle Cullen, Daddy C., PFach) is featured in this week’s People magazine for his work with Project Halo and 1736 Family Crisis Center.
The importance of a healthy father-daughter relationship should never be underscored, and it’s something that Peter Facinelli is no doubt well aware of.
Dad to Luca Bella, 12, Lola Ray, 7, and Fiona Eve, 3½, the Twilight star is hoping to spread the word with his involvement in Project Halo, a new fund-raising effort from the 1736 Family Crisis Center.
“I am proud to take part,” Facinelli, 36, tells PEOPLE Moms & Babies. “I believe that every man, woman and child have the right to live with dignity in a healthy, safe environment free of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse.”
Studies indicate that girls who grow up with safe, strong male role models are less likely, as adults, to enter into abusive relationships. With an end to domestic violence at the heart of 1736 Family Crisis Center’s mission, Project Halo seeks to change the mindset of  — and bring awareness to — women years before they go on to become battered.
By making a donation to Project Halo, you will receive a peace-inspired headband or necktie created by children housed in 1736 Family Crisis Center’s shelters as part of their therapeutic healing process.
“The children who created these ties and headbands will benefit from your purchase,” Facinelli points out. “Please help this cause.”
What began as a single shelter for street youth in the 1970s has turned into quite a success story for 1736 Family Crisis Center, which now operates five shelters and four community service centers throughout Los Angeles.  There, victims receive expert services specifically designed to help them overcome the effects of violence. 1736 Family Crisis Center also offers four 24-hour crisis hotlines which service the community at large, offering immediate counseling and referrals.

Luca, Lola and Fiona are Facinelli’s children with wife Jennie Garth.

KELLAN LUTZ IN INTERVIEW MAGAZINE

Kellan Lutz is appearing in a brand new interview and photo shoot with Interview Magazine. In the interview, Kellan talks about growing up, being just a normal guy, being a model and then an actor and getting his part in Twilight. Check out more below:
JACOBS: Unlike some actors, you don’t seem to have a need to distance yourself from modeling. LUTZ: It’s weird that the world sees modeling as a negative. It just blows my mind how many people think that because I was a model, I think I’m pretty and that I can use my looks to get ahead. I’m not pretty!
JACOBS: You really don’t think you’re pretty?
LUTZ: It’s funny when people say you have sex appeal or call you the next Brad Pitt. I just laugh. I’m not that. I don’t want to be that. “You’re a sex icon.” Why? Because I played a vampire in a movie? It’s all very unearned. If I had the best freaking abs in the world or if I looked likeBrad Pitt does in Fight Club [1999], then cool, but I’m not starving myself. I eat what I want, and I’m not a workout fiend. My genetics are good, but they aren’t crazy He-Man style. I don’t get it, but I appreciate it. [laughs]
JACOBS: And sometimes you just like to go on a shirtless run with your dog, and people need to deal with it.
LUTZ: I don’t see why it’s special. I know a lot of people who run shirtless because they don’t want their clothes to get sweaty. I’m just a normal person. And I have four paparazzi who sit outside my house all day.
JACOBS: Your humility is charming, but do you ever look at other guys going up for a role and think, “I can destroy you with my good looks”?
LUTZ: I love competition. I thrive on it. I love being able to win the room over before even walking through the door. When I was going out for Twilight, I was a big guy, especially after Generation Kill. I was close to 200 pounds and just all muscle. The character description was a big, bulky fighter, a wrestler, a bear of a guy with a smile. I walked in the waiting room and I noticed nine other actors, and half of them were trying to do push-ups, and half of them were trying to be all tough. I chuckled to myself. I’m very perceptive. I love seeing guys out of the corner of my eye be like, “Great.” Because they see a guy walking in who totally looks the role. It’s funny. I don’t try to be cocky, but I’m just very confident because I know I did all of my homework. I also really love, love, love doing character pieces. I love wearing wigs to auditions, even though sometimes they don’t work. I love trying to play the not-confident guy, the guy against my normal character, because that’s when real acting comes into play.
