Tom Sturridge joins the cast of ‘On the Road’
Earlier this week, photos emerged of Kristen Stewart hanging out with Robert Pattinson’s close pal Tom Sturridge in Montreal, where she’s filming On The Road. The shots sparked speculation that Sturridge might also be in the Jack Kerouac adaptation.
Gossip Cop can confirm exclusively that Sturridge has indeed been cast in the movie.
“He is filming in Canada at the moment for On The Road,” a rep for the actor tells us.
As Gossip Cop reported back in May, Stewart will star in the film alongside Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley.

They were gathering creative ideas for their in-house ASOS collections, which for this fall include leather dresses, slick high-waist trousers, romantic lace blouses as well as studded evening clutches and platform ankle booties that carry a high fashion aesthetic but sell for contemporary prices. During a commercial break an hour into the show, Taylor (who was making his way back to his seat with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson), spotted Selena and dashed to her side.[Source: Radar Online.
“They both ran to each other and gave each other a huge hug in front of everyone,” an audience member told RadarOnline.com. The duo, whose reunion happened right in front of the stage, were so locked in a hug that, “they rocked from side to side as they held each other. They were beyond happy to see each other and looked thrilled and had the biggest smiles on their faces.”
Unfortunately, their moment was interrupted by a waiting cameraman. “Someone tapped them on the shoulder and asked if they could pose for a photograph so they put their arms around each other and smiled.”
Limited Edition White Twilight Saga Books Will Be Available In The UK!
TheBookSeller.com has reported that there will be limited edition white copies of Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn available to the UK this fall -The four limited-edition titles: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, will be published by Atom on 14th October as £7.99 paperbacks, available only in the UK and Ireland, and Little, Brown’s territories including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India. The white editions will not be available in the US.
The white titles will only be published between October and Christmas 2010, replacing the usual black jackets. The titles will have crimson-edged pages and crimson back covers, with text confined to the spines.
A £75 hardback box-set of the Twilight Saga, plus the novella The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, is also being released on 12th October.

MTV.com has the inside info as to why Breaking Dawn Part 2 is set for Fall 2012 and not Summer 2012 (as previously speculated) -
Now, Summit has officially announced that “Breaking Dawn, Part 2″ will open November 2012, and with that, another assumption seems to be taking hold among fans and on the Web: After “Eclipse” failed to wildly out-gross “New Moon” at the box office, Summit got spooked about a summer release date and fled to more familiar autumn territory. But based on our conversations with Summit and box-office analysts, that’s simply not the case.
First off, it’s important to note that despite all this talk about a weaker-than-expected performance for “Eclipse,” its $289 million haul will eventually surpass the $297 million that “New Moon” pulled in last fall, according to Box Office Mojo.
When you consider that sequels like “Shrek Forever After” and “Sex and the City 2″ underperformed in the crowded summer-movie season, Summit has to be extremely pleased with the box-office business of “Eclipse.” So if it’s not a fear of summer that persuaded Summit to deliver both “Breaking Dawn” films in the fall, then what was it? A careful examination of the 2012 summer calendar.
“The lesson is that it’s all about positioning a film at a time when it will face as little direct competition as possible,” explained Phil Contrino, editor of BoxOffice.com. “Summit was wise to stay away from summer 2012, because it’s shaping up to be a record-breaking season.”
“The Avengers,” “Madagascar 3″ and “Men in Black 3″ are all set to drop that May, followed by “Star Trek 2″ in June, and then new installments of “Spider-Man” (which already occupies the Fourth of July slot held this year by “Eclipse”), “Ice Age” and “Batman.”
“Why compete with an amazing slate like that if you don’t have to?” Contrino added. “I’m sure ‘Breaking Dawn, Part 2′ would still open very well during a summer that crowded, but its audience would be devoured very quickly.”

They recently caught up with Jackson on the blue carpet at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, this past Sunday evening. In the interview Jackson discusses how the writers are working very hard on the Breaking Dawn script. And the fact that he can’t wait to reunite with his Twilight costars.

Kellan Lutz aka Emmett Cullen of The Twilight Saga has had a pretty impressive non-Twilight year. But along with all of his outside projects, Kellan is ready for the fourth installment of the saga:Breaking Dawn.
Kellan Lutz has been having a terrific (and busy!) year, but is looking forward to starting fight training for Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment in the Twilight saga.(Source:Examiner via Spunk-Ransom)
“I believe we might start rehearsals in September – fight training – and then I think start production in November until March in Vancouver and Baton Rouge,” Lutz, 25, told OK! Aug. 10, 2010. “I love doing stunts, I love doing action movies.”
‘TWILIGHT SHOOTS ARE LIKE A FAMILY REUNION’
Lutz really enjoys the company of his Twilight co-stars, who are genuinely fun, down-to-earth people.
“We just have a really great group of actors who are real people who can just have fun,” says Lutz. “We have so many inside jokes now, and we don’t get sick of each other because these movies are only three to four months of shooting and then we’re off doing our own thing. And then we get excited to come back and it’s like a great family reunion.”
Kellan gushes: “I can’t wait. I really can’t wait. I don’t think many actors who are part of trilogies or sagas can say that and really can’t wait to get back to the cast again. Share stories and make more memories.”
Meanwhile, Lutz is looking forward to taking a short vacation and indulging in some exotic cuisine before he has to undergo fight-training, memorize lines, rehearse and film Breaking Dawn, which will be broken up into two separate films.
So where does he want to go for his vacation?
“I want to go to Turkey really bad, and Istanbul, Iceland and Ireland,” says Lutz. ”
He adds: “And somewhere to get away and get a tan before I have to be all pale for a while (to play vampire Emmett Cullen). “But I just want to relax because Breaking Dawn is going to be a big movie to shoot.”
