OK Go's Kulash says 'any musician in the world' would want on 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' OST

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' OST - Summit Ent./Atlantic Records
OK Go's Damian Kulash has confirmed what many Twilight fans knew long before the official soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: New Moon even approached the contributor announcement list's release: "Any musician in the world would have given an arm to get on that soundtrack," he said to the Brown Daily Herald.
Kulash went on to talk to PopMatters about the issue, too, saying "Oddly, the hardest way to get your music out there now is by selling records," and "MTV doesn’t play videos anymore and radio is a dying medium, but millions of people buy videogames and watch movies and commercials."
Of course, the soundtrack for New Moon was a special case. For one reason or another, Twilight fans are extremely likely to pick up a copy of the album just the same as they would the DVD for the film.
As it turned out, the soundtrack for New Moon fared very well in the marketplace, making New Moon soundtrack hopefuls (who, whether they got on or not, were promoted and accepted into the Twilight fan community in some cases) seem all the more wiser and New Moon soundtrack contributors have a whole new fan base in some cases.
On the New Moon soundtrack, OK Go is featured for their song "Shooting the Moon,' and although the band (like many of the other bands on the soundtrack) had a wide fanbase prior to being placed on the album, the added exposure certainly didn't hurt. Especially since the New Moon soundtrack went platinum only a few weeks after its release.
Back in October, just before the album's release, Kalush told MTV that OK Go was "flattered" and "felt like we made it" when asked to be on the soundtrack.

Twilight' and Robert Pattinson cause 'spike' in sales of Volvo C30

Robert Pattinson with Volvo C30 in 'Twilight' - Summit Ent.
You already heard about how Robert Pattinson and The Twilight Saga: New Moon helped to boost sales of the XC60. Apparently, Pattinson (who portrays none other than "Edward Cullen," in the film series of course) and the film Twilight have helped to boost sales of the original film Volvo, the C30, too.
According to Chicago Business, several Volvo dealership owners have spoken out on the popularity of the cars utilized in the films.
One manager said that "After the movie launched, we saw this spike in C30 sales. We didn't know what had happened until we put two and two together." In that particular dealership's case, "The XC60," used in New Moon, "at $32,995, has not seen the same spike in sales as the C30, at $24,600."
Another dealer stated that he had patrons bringing their children to the lot to take photographs with their stock of the vehicles.
Others report a surge in sales for both the C30 and the XC60.
"We have seen an increase in interest in both vehicles by the youngest of drivers, teens and twentysomethings, and beyond."
Of course, if there is a bit of difference between the popularity of the vehicles, it might stem from the fact that the model used in New Moon was met, initially, with distaste from Twilight fans - both for the switch between films and for the fact that the car in New Moon was not "silver."
In the books - and most fans do want the films to resemble the books as much as possible - the car that Edward Cullen drove was a shiny, silver Volvo, and Stephenie Meyer painted a picture herself of what the car looked like in her mind when writing the series by putting a picture of it on her website and stating "Edward's Volvo [is] the silver S60R (and I've been assured that the "R" part is essential)." While neither of the cars used in the films were exactly what Meyer described, the one for Twilight was, at least, silver.
With The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Edward's car will remain the same, the XC60, so (excepting the continued insurge of new Twilight fans) there probably won't be any distinguishable "spike" coming after Eclipse, though for Volvo to abandon its marketing of the car (having done the "What Drives Edward" campaign with New Moon) when the film is forthcoming would obviously be a big mistake.

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' director David Slade adding more Robert Pattinson to the film

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' - Summit Ent.
Last week, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse  director David Slade let everyone know that the film was in "phase 1" of "director's cut" screenings with the film studio, Summit Entertainment.
As noted back then, that screening would probably not be of the final cut, and edits would likely be required by the studio for one purpose or another.
Today, David Slade confirmed the fact that edits are now happening, saying "Cutting like crazy, the film is getting closer working through the weekends again, adding more EDWARD!"
Adding more Edward (portrayed by Robert Pattinson)? Probably a good idea. While The Twilight Saga: New Moon was expected to have less of "Edward Cullen" in the picture and more of the werewolves (namely, "Jacob Black" by Taylor Lautner), Eclipse is - literally - a different story.
Back in December, Slade promised fans that "Edward seems to be a really strong presence, the intensity of the love story & rivalry between Jacob is in the driving seat," but he also stated that there was a "great state of balance" and that "it's all even with the action sequences."
Looks like the studio cuts are beckoning the weight of the balance to favor the relationship end . . . maybe? Any other thoughts on the message?

MTV: Will ‘Breaking Dawn’ Ne Two Films? ‘Not My Call’, Anna Kendrick Says

Anna Kendrick on the 2010 Critics' Choice Awards red carpet
On the Critics’ Choice red carpet, ‘Up in the Air’ actress also fills us in on upcoming Seth Rogen film ‘I’m With Cancer.’
By Larry Carroll, with reporting by Josh Horowitz
My, how little Anna Kendrick has grown!
The first time we spotted her was years ago, when she made a splash at Sundance with the indie film “Rocket Science.” In the time since, we’ve enjoyed her as Bella Swan’s fast-talking friend Jessica Stanley. And now, at still only 24 years old, Kendrick is an awards-season juggernaut with her new movie “Up in the Air,” showing up on another red carpet at Friday’s (January 15) Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.
And, naturally, she had a lot to talk about. Like “Breaking Dawn,” the final novel in the “Twilight” series. Depending on whom you speak with, Stephenie Meyer’s last Bella and Edward book will either be split into two films or remain intact.
“If it is [split], great. If it’s not, great,” Kendrick insisted, saying it’s not that she doesn’t care, but that she has no control over the situation. “I understand why they would want to do that, but it’s not my call.
“I find out when the fans find out. That’s true,” she laughed when asked when she expects to be briefed on how “Breaking Dawn” will be shot. “You will find out before I find out, actually. Text me.

PROnetworks: Summit on Breaking Dawn: No decision on how many films, “don’t think” Weitz directs

Among the many topics discussed here on this blog, and especially on my Twitter, are questions about The Twilight Saga. More specifically, “what’s the deal with Breaking Dawn?” I’ve avoided saying too much here because most of the information being posted (leaked) has been nothing but rumors and speculation. But thanks to the astute Los Angeles Times’ writer Gina McIntyre, we may have some bonafide facts.
Let’s get right to the bottom line: McIntyre spoke directly with the film’s producer Wyck Godfrey, who is stating publicly that no decision has yet been made as to whether or not the Breaking Dawn novel will be split into two scripts (and two movies) or one. But we’ve heard that before. What is news, though, is that he is all but confirming that New Moon director Chris Weitz will NOT be back to helm Breaking Dawn, one film or two. He’s also confirming that the three stars are on board and the plan is to begin shooting this fall in Vancouver.
“I think everyone would be happy and excited if he came back, but I don’t think it’s going to happen,” Godfrey told The Times. “But right now we’re just focused on the treatment and getting that right. At that point, we’re going to see who’s available and who’s appropriate. It’s such a complicated book because you have the emotions and the intensity of the love story — so you need somebody who’s just a wonderful director of actors — and yet it’s really complicated from an action and visual effects standpoint. They’ve got to have both tools in their kit.”

‘Eclipse’ Star Kirsten Prout Discusses Her ‘Really Dark’ Role

Kristen Prout
I’ve never played a villain in my entire career,’ ‘Twilight’ newcomer explains.

While fans eagerly await the June release of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” one of the film’s stars, Kirsten Prout, is opening up about joining the cast for the third film in the franchise. She plays Lucy in the film, the vampire who turns Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) into a vampire. And she says she enjoyed getting to embrace her inner bad girl for the film.
“I’ve always been on the good side. I’ve never played a villain in my entire career. I’m the girl next door, or the girl who helps out, or the girl that makes an innocent escape. For once, I got to look all innocent and have that angelic quality, and then, all of a sudden, turn into something really dark,” Prout, who starred on the TV series “Kyle XY,” told Iesb.net. “That was fun for me. That was the first villain that I’ve ever played.”
Like Rathbone’s onscreen sister, Rosalie, played by Nikki Reed, Prout gets in on the backstory action in the movie as well. “Without revealing too much, Lucy is one of the vampires that turns Jasper, played by Jackson Rathbone. Jasper gets turned while he is an officer, and I’m one of the vampires that causes Jasper to be turned during his military career,” Prout added. “Lucy appears to be an innocent little victim, and then she turns into something a lot more sinister.”

MTV: ‘Eclipse’ Screening Rumors Aren’t True Studio Says

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse"
A studio rep tells MTV News there were no previews of the third ‘Twilight Saga’ film over the weekend.

After news spread that Summit Entertainment was holding “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” test screenings over the weekend, testimonials began to appear online from fans who had the chance to see the flick. The only problem? There was no test screening, so the testimonials were anything but accurate.
A source close to the “Eclipse” production told GossipCop.com that rumors of the screening are “absolutely not true.” Also, any testimonials being published online on sites like Alex’s Memories are equally untrue. The source said specifics around any trailers and screenings for the flick have yet to be announced.
“There is absolutely no merit to this claim,” a Summit Entertainment rep confirmed to MTV News about reports of the screenings. “We noticed it over the holiday on multiple message boards and sites, and it appears that some of this was spam.”

Ashley Greene More Than a Pretty Face

Ashley Greene has been getting praise for her performance in Skateland. Here are some of the reviews I came across..!

# "...But when mentioning the performances that resonate in Skateland, it would be a crime to leave out Ashley Greene (Twilight). Greene plays Brent's younger sister Michelle, one of Ritchie's very best friends. If Brent is the character that helps Ritchie to break free from the mundane routine of mediocrity and comfort, Michelle is the character who grounds him afterwards, helps him make a decision and go for it. Knowing her mostly from her contribution to the Twilight Saga, I didn't expect much from Greene. But after only a few scenes, I realized there's more to her than just a pretty face. Greene knocks it out of the park – especially in a wonderful scene that doesn't have a single line of dialogue. I cannot wait to see what she does next. " Luke Hickman. For full review click here

# Larry Richman: Ashley Greene is angelic, intense and particularly effective in support. For full review click here

#Eonline movies :@eonlineMovies: Sundance mini-review! SKATELAND =dazed & confused +JHughes. Drills deep into teen angst. Standout performance: Ashley Greene. (B) http://bit.ly/9MP4yZ

"Skateland: Dazed and Confused meets John Hughes in this nostalgic
look at the life of a 19-year-old skating-rink manager growing up in a
small Texas town in the '80s. Funny in parts, but lacking the sharp wit
of its predecessors, but Twilight's Ashley Greene stands out as the object of affection. B"

# HitFix.com: Skateland is weak and self indulgent with good period 80s tone. Ashley Greene has one really good scene at the end.

# Ryan Michael Painter: "Best Surprise of the Festival: “Skateland”
I nearly skipped “Skateland” in favor of catching up on some sleep.
There was a part of me that wanted to hate “Skateland” because it
blatantly wanted to be a John Hughes film. By the end of the film I had
to admit that director Anthony Burns did a wonderful job of capturing
the themes and atmosphere of Hughes’ classic films. The second surprise here is that Ashley Greene proves she’s more than just a pretty face." For full review click here.

# "..Ashley Greene delievers a pretty good performance that's natural and engaging" For full review click here

# "Skateland" is the spiritual child of John Hughes' finest films in the '80s. Not because it directly steals from a particular Hughes film, but
because it captures the spirit perfectly. I spent a large portion
of the film geeking out by identifying all the LP covers (yes, we're
talking vinyl), posters and songs and falling in love with Ashley
Greene as Michelle Burkham (who wouldn't love a beautiful, smart and
caring girl with a Depeche Mode and The Cure posters dominating her
bedroom walls anyway?)..

Taylor Lautner Lands Stretch Armstrong Movie Role

Taylor Lautner has scored another superhero role -- as the title character in Stretch Amstrong, a film series from Universal Pictures based on the toy character with arms and legs that stretch.
The bad news? The film won't hit theaters until Memorial Day 2012. The good news? The movie series will be in 3D so you'll be able to get even more up close and personal with Taylor!
The Twilight Saga star is already set to star in the Max Steel movie series as well and has the ensemble film Valentine's Day coming out next Friday.

Did New Moon's Alex Diss Taylor L.?

tayAl.jpg

Could there be a brawl in the Wolf Pack? New Moon's Alex Meraz took to his Twitter last night to discuss the buzzworthy movie Valentine's Day, which stars his Twilight co-star, Taylor Lautner. So, is Alex as excited for the movie as we are? Not so much...
In his tweet, Alex wrote, "Sorry Taylor but the movie "valentines day" looks lame...it cries out"look we have all the biggest starz in 1movie pleez watch!" Kinda harsh, but we're sure this comment isn't getting Tay down!

Fan effect on 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' set revealed

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' - Summit Ent.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon's filming process was definitely an experience for fans. "Looking into the fishbowl," as some have called it, was what fans did throughout the entire production process, and, apparently, Twilight series fans made quite a sting on the art department's progress - for better or for worse - in putting together the sets.
An art direction professional from New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse recounted his experience in preparing the set in December/January's issue of Perspective.
The author described, in detail, the experience of when the house belonging to "Jacob Black" was discovered.
I was a bit surprised when a woman pushing a baby carriage trundled up and said hello. “That’s for a movie, isn’t it?” she asked. ... As warmly as I could, I ducked; “Oh, you know, don’t you think someone could just get tired of green and decide to paint their place red?” She shot back, “Sure, but they wouldn’t keep painting over everything until it looked real old.  It’s Jacob’s house isn’t it?” ... She contended that my evasiveness -- in contradiction to the evidence in the meadow -- made it very likely that she had discovered a major Vancouver location for New Moon. Jacob’s house was a key venue in Twilight Saga novels by Stephenie Meyer, but had not appeared in the first movie -- so this was a big find. The fan sites were electrified. The next day another fan ... posted a drive-by video of the location with her voiceover explanation of why this was surely Jacob’s place.

In a backwards compliment, the narrator went on to explain that the savvy of Twilight fans was unstoppable and that we even outdid the lingering paparazzi.
Even the professional paparazzi (hanging off freeway abutments and hiking over cliffs to get shots) couldn’t get imagery posted any faster than the uber tracker fan-base. Oceans were not even a deterrent. Late in the production, I was building a fountain and dressing a public piazza in Tuscany for our last week of shooting. The fan machine was so hungry and efficient that they shot and posted every step of our construction, paint and dressing progress in that piazza so that when the art department in Vancouver came to work each day, they could scrutinize stills and video on public blogs showing precisely what had been accomplished by wrap time in Italy a few hours earlier.
Remember that? We all definitely watched from afar with heated anticipation as the sets were built, confirmed, and, eventually, used for production. Fansites from across the globe joined together to share their information. Particularly Twilighters Italia, Twilight Italia, and Twilight Fan-Zone. The art designer also reflected upon the fact that Bella and Edward's Italian kiss in the piazza was on YouTube before they'd even made the first cut. This, the speaker argues, is a cause for belief that the New Moon fanbase has created (or at least participated in) a new wave of instant media. Agreed, right? Among our many talents as fans, eh?
The fascinating feature is available in a readable format here.

Twilight' star Kellan Lutz talks about Calvin Klein modeling with campaign alum Antonio Sabato, Jr.

Kellan Lutz for Calvin Klein
When the photographs of Kellan Lutz in his Calvin Klein skivvies surfaced yesterday, a few readers here were taken aback by Lutz's self-assessment that he was "not the good-looking guy with the nice hair."
Of course, this star of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse had to have been being modest about the issue . . .
At any rate, Lutz appeared on Entertainment Tonight to talk about the shoot, and he was interviewed by - appropriately - Antonio Sabato, Jr.
As pointed out in the video, Sabato and Lutz now have the CK modeling campaign in common, as Sabato was a frontman for their underwear campaign for quite a while in the past.
About the shoot, Lutz revealed that "it's amazing. For me, I started out modeling when I was younger, so it's nice to transition into acting and then come back to the modeling, especially for Calvin Klein who I grew up wearing their underwear and their clothes."
"From this point on, you'll be called a sex symbol," Sabato warned. "The next Twilight premiere ... you're gonna have to sign a lot of these."
"The whole sex symbol thing ... you don't see it," Lutz said, continuing his modesty. He also predicted that Peter Facinelli would be the one who gives him the most guff about the ads.

Taylor Lautner To Play ‘Stretch Armstrong’!!

According to Deadline.com, Taylor Lautner will play the title character Stretch Armstrong!
He’s already Hollywood’s highest paid teen. Pretty soon, he may also be Hollywood’s richest teen. He’s certainly Hollywood’s hardest working teen. Universal has just cast the 17-year-old Twilight Saga star Taylor Lautner to play title character Stretch Armstrong based on the Hasbro toy. The studio is giving Stretch superhero powers in the new 3D franchise that is scheduled for release in 2012. Universal Pictures Chairman Adam Fogelson and Co-Chairman Donna Langley think Lautner is “the real deal” and are undaunted by all the other projects which Taylor also is launching, including the Max Steel franchise at Paramount and the 3rd and 4th installments of the Twilight Saga for Summit Entertainment, and other films.“In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power,” said Langley. “We couldn’t be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch.”
Agreed Brian Goldner, President and CEO of Hasbro: “The addition of Taylor Lautner and the 3-D twist to Stretch Armstrong is sure to pay dividends when the film is released in 2012.”
The studio said Stretch Armstrong is moving to March 2012 “to allot time to shape the project into a 3-D superhero adventure and to accommodate Lautner’s existing commitments”. Stretch Armstrong is based on the iconic action figure made popular around the world beginning in the 1970s and re-launched in the 1990s. Academy Award-winning producer Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind, 8 Mile, American Gangster) will team with Hasbro to produce Stretch Armstrong to life. Steve Oedekerk (Bruce Almighty) has written the screenplay, and Hasbro’s Goldner and Schneir also produce.

Pierce Brosnan talks about Robert Pattinson and 'Remember Me' (video)

Pierce Brosnan - AP Photo
Robert Pattinson's Remember Me is a little over a month away from release.
In the film, Pierce Brosnan portrays Pattinson's character's father, and last Friday, in the second "Ask Rob" video, Pattinson explained that Brosnan was able to give the stern character a "much more sympathetic" voice.
Brosnan recently appeared on The Today Show to promote Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and he answered a question from Matt Lauer about Pattinson's work in Remember Me.
"This guy is in the middle of the white hot spotlight right now, he was here .. the place went crazy. Do you offer any advice for a young actor like that?" Lauer asked.
"Grace under pressure. Someone told me that little adage a long time ago. I mean, you just really have to keep your head about you. And Robert is ... he equips himself so well in the film. He's really worked very hard. He's executive producer on it. So, he's steering himself in a good direction and looking down the road as an actor as you have to do. Because you just can't sit around and wait for the phone to ring, you have to find the material, you have to go after the material, and he's done that with this film Remember Me," Brosnan answered.
Seems about right, doesn't it?

Behind the scenes video of 'Twilight' star Ashley Greene's 'Marie Claire' feature

Ashley Greene in Marie Claire - Photo: Simon Burstall
Wednesday, new pictures of Ashley Greene ("Alice Cullen" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) in Marie Claire magazine were revealed, and today a new behind-the-scenes video from the shoot has come about.
In the video, Greene describes her style, saying "I would define my style pretty classic, I think, probably clean lines and then I always add kind of an edgy shoe or some type of bold kind of statement necklace to it. My style icon's always been Audrey Hepburn, and she kind of has that go-to like classic style. Gwenyth Paltrow is another big one for me. I always like how she's kind of able to kind of capture ... there's still this elegance, and there's edge and sexiness, but it's still classy."
She also took time to speak up about her Twilight series character's style. "Alice Cullen tends to have, kind of again like the clean lines, very sleek, and then we added some type of lace or some type of frill to give her kind of that elegance," she explained.
Finally, Greene stated, "The trends that I find myself migrating to right now are definitely animal prints or really tall booties. I like a lot with like a skinny jean or a legging. I like high-waisted stuff a lot lately."

'Twilight' co-star Michael Welch and Anna Kendrick's mother respond to her Oscar nomination

Anna Kendrick - AP Photo
It was recently announced that Anna Kendrick ("Jessica Stanley" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) has officially been nominated for the Academy Award for "Best Supporting Actress" for her work as "Natalie" in Up In The Air.
Since then, there've been several reactions of note - especially those of her Twilight series co-star Michael Welch and her own mother.
Welch, who portrays her on-screen love interest "Mike Newton," stated that "Anna deserves it. She has an uncanny ability to get under the skin of her characters." He went on to tell MTV about his experience in working with her on the set of the Twilight saga films, saying "It’s almost as if she starts out with clichés that we are all familiar with, then builds the character by figuring out their world view, making them unique and personal and therefore turning them from clichés into real people." That would certainly explain why she was able to make the character "Jessica Stanley" identifiable and interesting in the films.
Kendrick's mother, too, spoke out about the morning that her daughter was nominated. According to Maine Today:
“Jan Kendrick decided to go in late Tuesday to her job as an accountant at Unum. She stayed at home, sat on her couch and watched TV. Then she screamed – as she watched the announcement of her daughter, Anna Kendrick, being nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Then she went to work. “I walked into this meeting and someone said, ‘Jan, can you explain why you are so late?’” she said. “I told them, and everyone applauded.”

Stephenie Meyer commends 'Twilight' fans for their Haiti relief efforts

Today, Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer issued a nice message for fans on her website, updating us all as to her latest book and music recommendations. She started the note going, though, by expressing her appreciation for the work being done by "the world in general and Twilight fansites in specific" for the cause of relief for the victims of the Haiti earthquake disaster.
Of course, what she's referring to is the tireless efforts of Twilight and cast fansites in raising awareness for the goings-on in Haiti during and after the most brutal of moments for the victims of the country's earthquake(s).
The fansites bonded together instantaneously to cooperate in the effort at raising awareness for the cause. Naturally, this inspired a great deal of response from fans, and, in turn, much of the cast was motivated to participate in their own, unique ways. Rachelle Lefevre donated blood and participated in the "Hope for Haiti" Canadian telethon. Robert Pattinson presented at London's "Hope for Haiti" telethon, and Taylor Lautner and Anna Kendrick showed up to answer phone in L.A.'s. Tinsel Korey and Kellan Lutz joined together to donate clothes to a drive sponsoring Haiti relief efforts (which was endorsed by Ashley Greene, too).
So, far, it is estimated that these fansite efforts have helped to raise over $25,000 $65,000. As Stephenie Meyer put it, "wonderful people."
Meyer added a plea for everyone to remember that it isn't over just yet. "I think it's important for all of us to remember that the situation in Haiti is not going to be cured overnight, so... keep up the good work, and let's all keep the Haitians in our thoughts and prayers."
A comprehensive listing of how to help is available here.

'Twilight,' 'True Blood,' and 'Vampire Diaries' fans banding together for the Red Cross

Right now, the sentiment runs strongly throughout Hollywood (and, pretty much, the global entertainment industry at large) that vampires are the "it" thing.
With three major, popular vampire series in existence right now - that is Twilight, True Blood, and The Vampire Diaries - the fanbase communities for these series are vast and capable.
That capacity has been exhibited with Twilight fans, for instance, in response to the crisis in Haiti and with the Twilight Fandom Gives Back efforts for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer.
So, for fans of the three series to join hands for a good cause, real progress is possible . . . and that's exactly what they're doing.
A new cross-community campaign has been initiated by fansite administrators for the three series entitled "Starve a Vampire, Give Blood."
The aim of this grouping is to encourage fans of the three series to collectivize between March 1st and March 14th to donate blood to the American Red Cross.
"If we all join forces, we can make this drive really count for people that need blood every day," says one participating site.
So, to participate, simply call your local American Red Cross (or, if you happen to be from Canada or another nation, your local blood donation venue) and set up an appointment on some of these dates.
Great to see fans working together for a great cause once again!

'Twilight' star Kristen Stewart to host benefit dinner for Haiti?

Kristen Stewart - AP Photo
Kristen Stewart ("Bella Swan" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) may be getting her hands even more involved in charitable efforts for the relief of victims of the Haiti earthquake disaster.
Accoring to E! Online's Marc Malkin, she's making plans to host a benefit dinner in Hollywood to raise money for the cause.
Stewart has already done at least two things to be proactive in relief efforts. First, she was able to raise funds through the Sundance Film Festival (where her films The Runaways and Welcome To The Rileys were premiered). Additionally, she teamed with her Runaways co-star Dakota Fanning and other celebrities to sign a snowboard for a Haiti relief charity auction.
As details on the potential project come about, you'll probably hear more about the effort.
Here's a video where Malkin explains the known details on the issue, saying that the benefit will be held later this month.

James Bond ‘Pierce Brosnan’ Has Praise for Robert Pattinson in Remember Me

Former James Bond ‘Pierce Brosnan’ who stars with Robert Pattinson in the upcoming Remember Me talks to parade.com about working with Rob…
Co-starring with a hot vampire hunk...
“Remember Me with Robert Pattinson is a really beautifully written piece about a family coping with the death of one of their boys. I play Robert’s father, and for me it’s about the loss of a son, while from his perspective it’s about the loss of a brother. It’s nothing like Twilight but it packs an emotional punch. I think you’ll see Mr. Pattinson giving a fantastic performance, which will prove he’s really working hard on his acting.”
The difficulty of filming with Rob..

“We filmed in New York and there always seemed to be a hundreds of screaming teenage girls around and I knew they weren’t screaming for me. I know it’s tough for Robert to cope with that kind of attention. I’ve been there and I sympathize with him, but I think he’s handling it quite well. I think that, so far, he’s got it under control.”

Robert Pattinson explains what 'Remember Me' means to him

Robert Pattinson in 'Remember Me' - Summit Ent.
In the fourth video from the Remember  Me "Ask Rob" series on the film's facebook page, Robert Pattinson ("Edward Cullen" in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) answers the question of what the film means to him.
Specifically, the question is: "This looks like a very emotional film that deals with family relationships. In your own words can you describe what the film means to you?"
Here's what Pattinson had to say:
I think what, in a lot of ways, the film means to me is really about just Tyler’s journey. I mean I connected to it in a very personal way, and what I really thought was interesting was it chronicles a time in a young guy’s life . . . I don’t know if it would really happen to a girl as well . . . where you, you begin to trust your own feelings. If you like someone, like Tyler does in the movie or, you know, if you’re sad or anything, you start to trust your own mind a little bit more. And there’s very few movies that specifically deal with that.
Interesting answer, huh?
It's especially interesting considering the words that Pierce Brosnan (who portrays the character's father in the movie) had to say on the subject of Pattinson's cinematic prowess. Specifically, Brosnan regarded Pattinson's involvement with Remember Me as both an actor and an executive producer to be "in a good direction."
