Anna Kendrick In Glamour Magazine

Anna Kendrick (Jessica Stanley) is featured in the editor’s special award for ‘Women of the Year’ in the July issue of Glamour (UK) magazine.
“And the first time I met Robert Pattinson, I kept thinking, ‘Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter!’ He never got his guitar out on set, but always carried a beaten-up book, like an English poet.”

Eclipse Closing In On A Half A BILLION Dollars At Box Office!

According to Gossip Cop and The Hollywood Reporter, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is still going strong at the box office domestically and overseas totalling $456 million to date.
Gossip Cop:
After two weekends in theaters, Eclipse continues to be strong.
The third installment in the Twilight Saga has earned $33.4 million this weekend at the box office in North America, bringing its total to $237 million domestically.
Internationally, the film took in another $81.1 million this weekend to bring its worldwide gross to $219 million.
That means, all across the globe, Eclipse has earned $456 million.
THR:
“Eclipse,” the third installment of Summit Entertainment’s “Twilight” franchise defied toasty summer weather in France and the U.K., opening No. 1 in these two key markets. Summit said the U.K. take was a jaw-dropping $21 million from 523 locations (including previews), the market’s biggest opening of 2010 and about $2 million more than “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” grossed in its market bow late last year.
The France gross opening tally was $12.4 million from an unspecified number of locales, also the highest opening market take of this year. By weekend’s end, “Eclipse” is expected to also be No. 1 in its opening round in South Korea and in its sophomore session in Australia — in addition to its first-place standing overall.

Peter Interview

The Mirror has an interview with Peter Facinelli.
Check it all out here.
Here is an excerpt:
Do people recognise you without the blond hair?
Well I think I’ve been around for a while so people generally know what I look like. But sometimes when I meet younger people who haven’t seen me before, and I don’t look like Carlisle, they get this disappointed look on their face. I don’t think I look anything like him.

Do fans ever ask you to bite them?

Oh yeah, all the time. They ask me to bite them for pictures, I used to do it, but then I thought, I don’t want these pictures of me biting people’s necks popping up everywhere – it’s kind of disrespectful to my wife. So now I’ll pretend to bite their wrist, kids love it and fans love it, it makes them happy. I’m pretty game.

Charlie Interview

Movies.ie has an interview with Charlie Bewley.
Check it all out here.
Here is an excerpt:

What is your favourite part of being involved with the Twilight Saga?
CB:
The best part about Twilight is that it opens so many doors, career wise, it really does. Both in publicity and further support in new films and stuff. I have had so many great opportunities since coming on board with this film.

Had you read the books before you did the film?
CB:
No I hadn’t, no. I had to get a network of females to whip together Demetri’s information and with that I went into the audition – with all the information that was out there. But obviously, having got the role, you need to educate yourself as to what’s going on.

Daily Mirror Interview With Taylor Lautner

He began his Twilight journey with a small role in the first film. But now for some, 18-year-old Taylor eclipses Rob Pattinson in the heart-throb stakes. While his two co-stars speak their mind, Lautner, with his big white-teethed smile, always says the ‘right thing’. Today, his bulky body is hidden by blue jeans and a black tee. He settles down for a catch-up, all embarrassed by his ‘hottie’ status…
By Lauren Williams
Were you expecting all this fan hysteria when you first signed up?
It’s funny, but I hadn’t even heard of Twilight before I did it. And it is getting bigger and bigger. When I signed up for the role I found out the following behind us, it was so much bigger than I expected, and it is definitely different to anything I have and ever will experience in the future, I’m sure.
Have you got used to being so famous?
You actually never do because it’s just not normal to walk out on stage and have thousands of people screaming at you.
How do you avoid attention?
You have to be smart about where and when you decide to go places. Walking down Rodeo Drive in LA is probably not a good idea. I find certain hangouts where I know I can have fun, enjoy it and it’s also a safe place to be.
Do your mates take the p*ss?
Everybody teases me about the shirtless thing and my little jean shorts. It’s all good, though.
What have you been spending your money on?
It is tough to go shopping when you are busy. You don’t want to purchase something extravagant, because you are just going to leave it behind. One thing my parents taught me is to save my money because you never know what is going to happen. Tomorrow you may lose everything! My parents have been a big help. I make sure to have them on set to visit because it does get lonely, filming for three months, so I like bringing home to wherever I am. My friends visit quite often. I usually have someone there. I am never there by myself for too long.
