“The tent scene, I remember that being one of the hottest scenes in the books, so I’m excited to see that,” Reaser said when she stopped by the MTV News offices Tuesday (May 18). “I’m Team Edward, so I can’t relate to [Bella] being torn [between Edward and Jacob], but I mean, come on, vampires are cool! Wolves are super hairy and they smell disgusting, like dogs.”Check out MTV for all the details.
Gossip Cop has learned some of the visit’s highlights from a source in the studio:
*** An audience member was blindfolded and instructed to “feel up” three guys to guess which one was Pattinson. She got it wrong.
*** Pattinson told the host he begins shooting Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon on Thursday.
*** He jokingly told DeGeneres he got a haircut because he had “nits.” She told him that Americans call them “lice.”
*** Also in jest: Pattinson said People magazine got it wrong — he’s more beautiful than Julia Roberts.
*** Will Smith gave Pattinson advice about presenting at the Oscars: “Don’t try and be funny.” Wait until you’ve done it 6 times.
On whether she was ever attracted to Robert Pattinson: “When I met Rob, I didn’t think twice about him. He’s really attractive, but that chemistry wasn’t there. He also doesn’t understand girls. He gets a lot of attention from them, but he doesn’t quite understand it because before Twilight, he was just a guy from Harry Potter.”[Source: JustJaredJr, Seventeen.
On whether she and co-star Kellan Lutz have hooked up: “I’ve definitely thought about it. He and I met through our agent five years ago, and we’ve been best friends ever since – and filming together has made us even closer. He’s one of my best friends, but if we were going to be romantic, we would have done it years ago! I like having him to talk to about other guys to get that male perspective. I really cherish our relationship, so I wouldn’t want to mess that up by dating.”

First, Summit this morning (Monday, May 17) responded to my inquiry of last week for comment on the rumors, first reported in a story in The Hollywood Reporter that relied on an unnamed source for its inside informationLets just focus on Eclipse!!!!
The studio’s statement came a few days too late for my story — which ran in Saturday’s editions of The Times-Picayune — and it was unsuprisingly vague. Here’s it is, in its entirety: “No details have been confirmed regarding ‘Breaking Dawn’ aside from the fact that Bill Condon will be directing.”
The second, more telling, development comes in the form of incorporation papers filed last week with the Louisiana Secretary of State’s office by an agent for Summit and establishing a new corporate entity called “TSBD LOUISIANA, L.L.C.” – which would seem to stand for “Twilight: Saga Breaking Dawn.”
Of course, filing incorporation papers is a long way from booking soundstages and crewing up — but as early signs go, it’s a good one that there might be truth to these rumors.
“Twilight: Breaking Dawn” would be based on the fourth book in the popular vampire-romance series, and there has been talk that it could be broken into two movies. Summit is hoping to beginning production this fall.
Arriving on shelves in August from Bluewater Productions, “Fame: Taylor Lautner” promises to chronicle the once-unknown actor’s meteoric rise in Hollywood, including his pre-”Twilight” years and upcoming roles. “It was all very sudden, not just with the paparazzi but also with being cast in general,” says Xavier, who’s been acting since high school. “I did an audition from Sydney on tape. Then I got word that it was down to four guys—and that I was one of them.”
