Tinsel Korey and the ‘1 Warm Kid’ Coat Campaign
Tinsel has been very active with this campaign. She has sent several tweets regarding her involvement!
Tinsel Korey, who plays the beloved “Emily” in The Twilight Saga movies New Moon, Eclipse and the upcoming Breaking Dawn, is using her newfound popularity to make a difference in the lives of children nationwide.
The first annual “1 Warm Kid” campaign is a coat drive spearheaded by partners P.S. from Aéropostale (the children’s line) and the nonprofit organization One Warm Coat. The campaign runs through October 31, 2010, and P.S. from Aéropostale will match every donated coat, up to 100,000.
Several celebrities, including Tinsel Kory, are supporting the cause by donating signed coats in order to encourage participation. Those who provide donations will have the chance to win the celebrities coats, provided by Tinsel Korey, Ellen DeGeneres, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Ricky Schroder, Cole and Dylan Sprouse (“Suite Life on Deck”), Debby Ryan (“Suite Life on Deck”), Jennette McCurdy (“iCarly”), and David Del Rio (“The Troop”), among others.
“1 in 5 kids live in poverty. It’s startling to learn of how many families struggle to have the basic necessities, such as a coat,” said Scott Birnbaum, Senior Vice President of Marketing of Aéropostale, Inc. “1 Warm Kid will provide warmth to many families this winter and shed light on this growing epidemic.”

Jackson wants to treat his co-stars to Louisiana home cookin’!
“The great places to go are my family’s,” Rathbone, who plays Cullen family member Jasper Hale, tells PEOPLE. “We’re gonna go over to my cousin’s house, to my aunt and my uncle’s house, and we’re gonna have some gold-old real home cooking.”Read more here.
The 25-year-old actor, who also performs in the band 100 Monkeys, also plans to direct his co-stars done to sample Louisiana’s vibrant music scene.
“We’re about to get all back together for some family reunion time here in the next couple days,” Rathbone said at the 2010 Scream Awards over the weekend in Los Angeles. “Really excited! My dad’s born and raised Baton Rouge and that’s where I’m flying, so I’m ecstatic about it!”

(100 Monkeys): 100 Monkeys was formed in a living room in Hollywood when Ben Johnson Ben Graupner and Jackson conjured up Monster Delux. Jerad and Uncle Larry joined the band in the following months as the we took our first residency at the 24k Lounge.
(FZ): Who thought of the name?
(100 Monkeys): Jackson and Graupner had been using the name 100 Monkeys when they would record with others. After the completion of Monster Delux 100 Monkeys become the formal title of the band.
(FZ): What inspires your music?
(100 Monkeys): Anything and everything. Common elements in the music are the devil, drinking and women who cheat and steal.
(FZ): Talk about the song writing process, do you all write together as a group?
(100 Monkeys): We have many approaches to the way we write our songs. Sometimes we’ll go on day long improvisations and come out with pieces like Wasteland Too or Future Radio. In other cases one of us will write up an entire song and bring it in to the group to flesh out like we did with LDF.

Kristen Stewart attended a press screening of Welcome to the Rileys this evening in New York City where she rocked her now-dark Bella hair, red lipstick, and this gorgeous dress. MTV: Nikki Reed Talks Top-Secret Breaking Dawn Scripts
Nikki Reed (aka Rosalie Hale) talkede to MTV News about the Breaking Dawn scripts on the red carpet at the 2010 Scream Awards on October 16th.“They’re definitely watermarked,” Reed admitted of the script’s security. “In fact, I work with an acting coach … and I wanted her to obviously have a copy so that we could work together and it was a huge process. She’s like a really well-respected coach.”[Source: MTV]
It appears that studio execs are keeping such a close eye on the script for good reason, as Reed said filmmakers have knocked a great screenplay.
“I think that they’ve really mastered the art of translating these books and transferring every single element almost verbatim, yet it’s obviously condensed because the book is endless,” Reed said. “I didn’t know how they were gonna conquer that challenge but they seem to have done it.”
The actress said she is ready to tackle the script head-on as production gets underway for the 2011 release, and is amped to work with the flick’s acclaimed director.
“Lots of fittings, no rehearsals yet [but] we head out there pretty soon. I’m really excited, I think Bill Condon is a genius,” she said. “I’ve only spoken to him on the phone but his love and devotion has sort of bled into [other parts of the production] because I’ve had wig fittings and wardrobe fittings here and you feel his presence even though I haven’t spent any time with him one on one.”
As Reed continues to ride out her role as Rosalie in the “Twilight” series, the actress reflected on the experience so far and said she’s satisfied with her contribution to the onscreen phenomenon.
“If it all ends tomorrow for me I’m happy because I feel like I’ve been a part of things that I’m really proud of [and] that I’m really grateful for,” she said.
