As the release date for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in theaters draws nearer, all eyes ("the abyss") are on director David Slade's Twitter page for precious information about the film's progress.
The latest series of tweets from the one who has kept us in the loop even from a closed set concern the Eclipse IMAX prints as well as the DVD (yes, the DVD)!
A few days ago, he'd alerted us that IMAX prints were going to be under review, saying "So we had a couple of days off, tomorrow final IMAX print checks."
Early this morning, he updated: "Now just the IMAX digital projection to oversee and the film will be finally finished. Just in time for press to start!" He also issued the above picture with the caption, "A print of Eclipse in IMAX 65mm format."
About the DVD, Slade tweeted, "Finaled our Eclipse DVD colour timing and framing today, yesterday saw the 1st timed IMAX film print, a few tweaks and that will be ready."
