Yahoo’s ‘Get to know Bree Tanner’

Yahoo movies has a brand new interview and featurette to introduce Eclipse star Jodelle Ferland who will be playing Bree Tanner in Eclipse.  Quoted in the article, Stephenie Meyer says this about the 15-year-old actress.

“It’s going to be great to see [Jodelle] as the character. She brings such a vulnerability, and she really understands the backstory for Bree that’s not actually in ‘Eclipse.’ She gets the vulnerability.”

According to Yahoo Movies, Stephenie Meyer even gave Jodelle Ferland a copy of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner before it was even released to the public that the author was writing it!  Talk about a lucky girl.
Ferland also gives us a little more insight into her character of Bree Tanner, saying:

“It’s sad because even though she’s on the bad side, she’s a victim. She wants to be good, but no one gives her a chance,”
