Dakota Fanning to present at LA/BAFTA Brittania Awards

Last week, we reported that Michael Sheen will be recognized at the LA/BAFTA Brittania Awards in Los Angeles on November 7. He’ll receive the award for British Artist of the Year! Now we can report that Dakota Fanning will be presenting at the ceremony. There is no confirmation, but wouldn’t it be great if Dakota (Jane) were presenting to Michael (Aro)? Hope so!  new Twilight Saga cast member Erik Odom better get used to photographed doing random things! He was chatted up at the West Hollywood farmers market and he chatted a bit about shopping there. However, the interviewer didn’t know who he was until later. But he snapped a few cute pics of Erik!

In West Hollywood, it’s not uncommon to rub elbows with movie and television stars. It could be at a trendy club, a restaurant or even during a visit to the West Hollywood Farmers Market.
I was innocently asking questions to Morgon Fone, the operator of Dave’s Gourmet Korean Food stand, when two handsome young men joined our chat.
“This is my first visit to this market,” said Erik Odom. “I thought I’d just check it out and look at all of the bags I’m carrying.”

L.A. Times Article: Kristen Stewart Detours from ‘Twilight’

Here is a small excerpt of an L.A. Times article in which Kristen Stewart discusses Welcome to the Riley’s, Twilight and the effect fame has on her.

In Scott’s film, Stewart plays Mallory, a foul-mouthed teen living on her own in New Orleans, working at a strip club. When she crosses paths with married couple Doug and Lois Riley ( James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo), they take her under their wing and help her begin to turn her life around.
To prepare, Stewart took pole dancing lessons, visited strip clubs and didn’t wash her hair for five weeks. Her appearance was so convincingly trashy, she said, that when she walked into a club off Sunset Boulevard, the owner offered her a job. The actress persuaded him to let her talk to the dancers to get insight about their lives.
“The only thing that I can figure out is that something most of the time was taken from them,” she said. “Like, you can’t hurt me more than I’ve already been hurt. And you can’t abuse me more than I abuse myself every day, so I’m gonna take from you. I’m gonna take your money.”

Behind The Scenes Photos Of Kristen Stewart In ‘On The Road’

Here are some behind the scenes photos of Kristen Stewart by John Allen Cassady (son of Neal Cassady) while filming On The Road last August.

John Allen Cassady was in England visiting his mother, Carolyn Cassady, when he got the call from Walter Salles, Director of “On The Road”. Walter wanted to know if John would be willing to interrupt his visit with Carolyn so he could meet and give a talk to the cast and crew of the movie while they were filming in Montreal. Walter promised a round trip flight from London to Montreal and that John would be back at his mum’s place in a few days. John only wanted to know one thing: “Will I get to meet Kristen Stewart?” He was assured he’d meet everyone so John boarded that silver bird.

They picked John up in a limo and delivered him to a five star hotel in Montreal. To his chagrin, Kristen wasn’t waiting there for him. They brought him to a party where he met everyone. He spoke to people he recognized and people he didn’t. John took photos with disposable cameras because he’d left his digital back in London. He took pictures of everyone and everything. The next day he’s having lunch with the producers and asks, “So when do I get to meet Kristen Stewart?” “John,” they said, “You met her last night. You flirted shamelessly for hours. You got photos of the two of you together.” John didn’t know what she looked like! “And I wasn’t even drinking,” he said.
Back in London John got all his pictures developed. One of them was lost by the photo company. It was the one with all the photos of John and Kristen Stewart. “Story of my life,” John said.

The character Dean Moriaty (played by Garrett Hedlund) is based on Neal Cassady (John’s father) in On The Road by Jack Kerouac in case you’re wondering.

Breaking Dawn Filming News: More Information On Filming In Brazil

We previously posted information on Breaking Dawn filming in Brazil.  Here’s more information from folks at FoForks and their source! 

The first is that Stephenie Meyer should come to Brazil, along with Rob and Kristen, to accompany the footage.
The second is that the information about Taylor coming to Brazil is 99.9% pure speculation, and Mackenzie Foy. Just Rob and Kristen, and Sebastião Lemos and Virgüez Carolina should participate as actors of the recordings on national soil, which makes more sense.
Paraty is even the HQ team and cast into two luxury hotels. It can happen to use one of the hotels as a location for scenes in the house of the Isle Esme. A security firm was hired to err … give full security to the crew and actors during the entire stay and armored cars have already been reserved.
Kaure, the maid of the Isle Esme and the first person to realize that Bella was pregnant, must be interpreted by Virgüez Carolina, Colombian naturalized Brazilian actress with several awards and nominations as best actress in several plays nationals.
There will be 4 and half days of filming.
