Hot Topic has rolled out the pre-order for its Eclipse merchandise, and the stuff looks AWESOME this year.

The Do the Write Thing for Nashville auction (to benefit victims of the Nashville flooding) is now featuring a copy of Breaking Dawn signed by Stephenie Meyer! It is authentic, and was donated by the ladies at the Twilight Lexicon.

Information on camping out for ‘Eclipse’ premiere

Summit has announced that those of you who plan to camp out for the Eclipse premiere on June 24, 2010, are allowed to begin lining up on June 21 (Monday) at 6:00 am (PDT).  Just a reminder that the premiere will not be held in Westwood where it has previously taken place, but at Nokia Theater at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles.
LA Live is not public property, so camping will not be permitted there prior to the above date and time.  In addition, we have been informed that campers will not be allowed to camp out on the streets outside of LA Live before that time either.

Kellan Lutz is all bloody

Kellan Lutz posted this photo in an attempt to be verified on Twitter, but I am guessing he is all bloodied up for his film Deathgames which is filming now.  It’s fun that it is gross and hot at the same time…

Hot Topic Rolls Out Eclipse Merchandise

Hot Topic has rolled out their Eclipse merchandise. Noticeable new additions included Leah Clearwater items featuring Julia Jones, Team Switzerland finally making an appearance, and buttons featuring the trio of Lucy, Nettie and Maria who turn Jasper.

Also notable is the Hot Topic version of Bella’s engagement ring. You can see the Infinite Jewelry version and their version here side by side. The Hot Topic version is on the left and the Infinite Jewelry version is on the right.

Ashley Greene: How I Didn’t Used To Be Confident

Ashley Greene chatted with Hollywood Life before the Young Hollywood Awards last night. She talked about how she used to suffer from a lack of confidence.
““My mom put me in etiquette and modeling courses to get my self-esteem up,” the 23-year-old actress admitted after confessing her former unconfident self to HollywoodLife.com May 13. “That helped a little bit, and then I got into acting. When I found something I loved so much and thought I was good at…[I realized] I could use the bad things people said or did before in my acting career.””

Official Info about Eclipse Premiere: When You Can Start Camping Out, Waiting for a Peek at the Stars at Nokia Theater at LA Live

Here’s the very first official info from Summit on when you can grab your space for the event of the Summer–a peek at the hullaboo surrounding the Red Carpet Premiere of Eclipse that happens on June 24th, 2010!
The camp-out will begin for the premiere at Monday, June 21 at 6am PT, with the premiere happening at the Nokia Theater at LA Live in Los Angeles. Keep in mind that LA Live is not public property, and no camping or lineups will be allowed to occur before that time. Also, no camping around the streets around LA Live is permitted.

'Twilight: Eclipse' Clip: Dakota Fanning Gets Angry, Very Angry

In the latest "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" preview, the familiar faces of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are missing. Instead, the 40-second clip features Dakota Fanning's Jane and her fellow Volturi vampires in a scene that's unique to the movie. It's a clear indication that the Volturi will be getting more screen time in the film than they do in the novel, where they only appear in Forks at the very end after the vampire-werewolf battle subsides.
"Eclipse" once again finds Bella's life in peril as Victoria's legion of newborn bloodsuckers draws ever-closer to Forks. But even before they reach Bella, the just-turned vamps' wild actions in Seattle attract the attention of the formidable Volturi coven, who, as we can recall from "New Moon," do not take light of activities that threaten to expose the vampire community.
Don't let Dakota Fanning's doll-like face fool you! In the latest "Eclipse" clip, we quickly learn that Fanning's Jane is not to be messed with. Watch the clip below:
 

Jane, along with Felix, Alec, and Demetri, witness the chaos and destruction the newborn army is causing in the city. They are obviously not pleased.
Demetri observes that "they've already drawn too much attention."
"So has our inaction," Felix adds. "Others may begin to question the Volutri's effectiveness."
Jane stoically responds, "Let them."
Not happy, Felix suggests, "Maybe we should consult with Aro," the Volturi leader.
Poor Felix. He should've kept his thoughts to himself, because, in the blink of an eye, Jane uses her power -- to inflict a mental illusion of agonizing pain -- on Felix and brings him to his knees. Ouch!
"Aro's decisions are being watched. Either we let them do what they were created for or we end them," Jane darkly contemplates. "Decisions, decisions."
Even though it's straying from Stephenie Meyer's book a bit, I'm all for more Volturi scenes since I'm totally digging Fanning as Jane. She plays the detached evil-vampire role perfectly. And, besides, who doesn't love a good villain?

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' tickets available for sale, film will only stay in IMAX for two weeks

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' - Summit Ent.

Not that you needed any reminder of this, but tickets are now available for sale for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in theaters.
Summit Entertainment has just passed along a couple of links where tickets can be purchased, Fandango and MovieTickets.com, and it has also announced that the film will only screen in IMAX theaters for two weeks (from June 30th to July 15th).
Last year, with The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Fandango reported record pre-sales in ticketing for the film very early on in the process (somewhere in the area of ten sold per second), so it might be in your best interest to get tickets for the film (especially for those wanting to see it in IMAX) in advance!
Only a month and a half left to wait!

METRIC's Emily Haines talks 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' soundtrack once again

Over the past couple of days, Twilight fans have begun to learn a lot about The Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack band METRIC, thanks to the group's vocalist, Emily Haines.
As you might recall, yesterday Haines' blog entry on MySpace revealed the backstory as to how METRIC formulated its music for the Eclipse soundtrack, and today she's spoken up to MTV about how she feels about the Twilight series' protagonist "Bella" and the person responsible for bringing her to the big screen, Kristen Stewart.

“I had to … really try to embody the voice of Bella, which I’ve never done. I’ve always been interested in that — writing for film — and it was really cool to feel the emotions of someone else, and then try to express it in a way that’s consistent with Stephenie [Meyer]’s books,” she said. “It was so interesting for me. And [Shore] had also written the [chord] progressions, and we had to work within his melodic ideas, but still make it us. … He really wanted it to be Metric. So it’s, like, Metric and Howard Shore, writing this moment. And when you see the movie, you’ll hear that the melodies from the song we wrote are part of the score. … I can’t believe my luck, and it was really cool to work with him.”

Burger King offering 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' fans a chance to be on TV

A couple of days ago, Burger King announced its open call for Twilight fans to audition for a special event related to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Today, more details on that casting call are available, and it seems that fans are being asked to submit videos for the opportunity to appear on TV.
Here is the statement and information from Burger King:

Last chance Twi-hards! In anticipation of the new movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, BURGER KING® is holding additional open casting calls this Saturday, May 15th. Come and tell us if you're on Team Jacob or Team Edward for your chance to be involved in a special TV event!

Must be 18 years old or older.
