A few details on Burger King's coming The Twilight Saga: Eclipse promotions have been revealed by the New York Times.
The publication reveals that Burger King's Eclipse push will begin on Monday with commercials and games.
In the commercials, the Team Edward versus Team Jacob debate wages in the form of fan devotion, and "dueling devotees of the two characters are seen marching into a Burger King restaurant, urging customers to play the game by scratching off the panel with their favorite character."
A preview of the quotes used in the commercials (which NYT states will appear both on television and online) includes: "'Jacob’s abs are so hard,' a Jacob fan tells a customer, 'you can scratch that game piece on them.' An Edward fan explains that he is not dead, just alive forever."
Burger King will also host a website for their promotions, and scratch-off cards will give fans the chance to win one of several prizes, including a screening of the movie and a set tour.
